KING OWN GOAL DOES IT!

(King in disbelieve of his Own Goal)

Tottenham and Fulham faced off for the first game of the season, who came out on top?

The game kicked off and Spurs where in full control, working down the wing, the got a early free kick in the 3rd minute, the free-kick was nicely taken butit bounced right in the middle of two Spurs players and Fulham cleared the ball. Tottenham kept attacking, still working down the wing Zhirkov got a cross in, ARshavin got up for the header but a Fulham defender bigger then ARshavin was able to clear the ball upfield. Arshavin and Bentley started to work well together doing some nice "Push and runs" together, Bentley got a cross in, Pavlyuchenko was waiting in the box but the cross had to much power and missed him. AFter that FUlham tokw control of the match and opened the scoring when, they quickly broke down the wing and got a cross in, and Johnson who was unmarked in the middle of the box headed it home, Gomes didn't even come out for the ball. SPurs worked hard to get level but it went down the drain when Fulham netted for a second time. JUst before half-time ARshavin got away quickly got a cross in and Pavlyuchenko headed it just wide, the ref blew for half-time.

Just 5 minute after second half kick-off Tottenham recieved a free kick, and only a brillant save stop the ball from going in. Guus knew what he had to do as he pushed Modric up into a CAM postion, this worked as Spurs played fast kick passes, Bentley crossed it in, and Jenas just volleyed it home. Hinddink had already told the 4th offical that he wanted to take off Jenas, he tried to stop him after Jenas's goal but it was to late as Jenas came off for Huddlestone. This did no favours, although Pavlychenkp did brake down the wing to run in and hit the post. But in the 78th minute Fulham got a ground cross in, and King slid in ot try and clear it but it hit his boot and he could only watch it roll into the back of the net. That had to be it Fulham had won. Guus didn't see it that way as he brought on Dos Santos for Arshavin and Bent for Pavlychenko, this did nothing except Bent put the ball over in the 90th minute, the ref blew and Fulham celebrated because they have just won there first match of the season.

Tottenham 1 (Jenas 56th) - Fulham 3 (Johnson 24th, Fulham 42nd, King (OG) 78th.)

Hales no OneHotspur member got the score, it was late when I played it and I cou;dn't have been bothered but everyone OneHotspur member will get post match interveiws soon, our signing real soon, then after the next match you'll get the score.
