Juande Ramos In Shock Secret Meeting

(Juande Ramos On The Way Out?)

Tottenham Hotspur manager Juande Ramos was reportedly spotted at an unsanctioned meeting with Real Madrid officials in London on Tuesday. It is believed that Real Madrid have been on the hunt for a new manager, and that Carling Cup winner Ramos is on the top of their wish list.

An inside source revealed that club officials were furious with the managers actions, and that he could be facing fines with the possibility of his job at White Hart Lane coming to an end.

The inside source did not want to be named, but spoke to the London Times on Thursday.

"There has been a storm since it has happened, the meeting took place on Tuesday and the board were made aware of it on Wednesday.

"There have been heated meetings in the board room, and several directors are furious that he met with the Madrid representatives without permission.

"Most of the board share the feeling that he has betrayed there trust, and that his actions should lead to him loosing his position here.

" There has already been a search for a replacement, so i dont think Juande will be in charge for much longer, the board are determined to see the back of him.
".

If Ramos were to leave the North London club, he would be the latest in a string of fired managers at White Hart Lane.

(Tainted love? Despite his Carling Cup win against Chelsea, Juande's time appears to be coming to an end at White Hart Lane after an unsanctioned meeting with Real Madrid officials)

Ramos lead Tottenham to victory in the Carling Cup final last season, and was seen to be the man to bring stability to the club, however his likely departure could effect the start of the season for Spurs if a suitable replacement is not found.

In his pre-season press conference today, Ramos refused to speak about the matter, insisting that the rumors in the press were false, and that he was committed to his job.

(Ramos insists the rumors are false, however inside sources suggest otherwise)

""The rumors are all false, all made up and i dont want to leave Tottenham.

"The company's are just trying to sell papers with lies at the start of the season, everything is fine here.

"I dont want to leave and have done nothing wrong, so i dont see how the papers can spread such lies.
".

Reports in The Sun have suggested that the club are currently sitting down with Croatia coach Slavin Billic and former Chelsea front man Avram Grant, who was sacked after loosing the Champions League final to Manchester United in Moscow.

One In, One Out: Tottenhams Managerial Shake Up

(Thumbs down: Juande Ramos sacked in shame)

Tottenham Hotspur have today sacked Juande Ramos, after it became apparent that he had held a meeting with Real Madrid officials behind the clubs back. The F.A. are considering asking FIFA to sanction Madrid for there actions, and if they decide to take that route Real could face massive fines.

Speculation was rife throughout the week as rumors of Juande's secret meeting came to light in news papers around the country. In a press conference, his last in charge, Ramos claimed that news agents had created the story in an attempt to unsettle the club, however Tottenham's board did not see it the same way, and decided to sack Ramos earlier this morning.

Ramos was due to attend a Young Spurs Club event in Hammersmith alongside players today, but the event has been canceled and Ramos is believed to be on a plane to Madrid, possibly to seek out employment with Real Madrid.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has since spoke to the press, claiming that the actions of Juande Ramos had made it impossible for the Spaniard to continue as manager.

(Unhappy chairman: Daniel Levy was disgusted by Juande Ramos' actions)

"The simple fact of the matter is that he was employed by our club, and he held a meeting with officials from another club. We have strong evidence of this, we are in no doubt that the event has happened and it has forced us into a difficult position at the start of the new campaign.

"We have had no choice but to sack him, his actions were underhanded and dirty, and we cannot have that type of manager in our club, the type of manager willing to hold secret meetings without permission, obviously seeking employment elsewhere.

"He is leaving the club in shame, we thought he would shine for us after the Carling Cup win, but a number of problems prior to this incident have made us re assess our position, and now this incident has pushed us over the edge.

"We are already in talks with a new manager, and hope to have the contract settled before tomorrow morning.
".

A mere twenty five minutes after the departure of Ramos was announced, Tottenham confirmed the signing of 62 year old Russia manager Gus Hiddink, to replace Juande Ramos.

(New man at the helm: Gus Hiddink has a high reputation after success with South Korea and Australia at world cups, and recently with Russia at the European championships)

Hiddink is expected to conduct his first interview as manager within the hour, and Tottenham fans will be eager to hear his plans for the club.

After a successful footballing career, Hiddink settled into management well, with spells at his former club PSV, Valencia, Real Madrid, and more recently with the national teams of South Korea, Australia and Russia.

Tottenham released a statement on there official website earlier in the day, saying that both party's we're committed to a long term partnership.

"Gus has signed on a three year contract, with the option of an extension when the contract comes to an end.

"Whilst we are aware that Tottenham will most likely be his last job in club management, we are confident that he can deliver over the term of his contract.

"Gus has a big reputation and will have the full support of the board, financially and otherwise, to get the club to a top level.
".

Gus Hiddink is expected to speak later on today to SpursTV, and Tottenham fans will be eagerly awaiting his words.

I hope not, SO unrealistic its not even funny. I have some recomendations,

santa Cruz
Turan
Kuranyi

All great players I have used before. maybe not Turan as you have great wingers already but the 2 strikers will run any team ragged.
