Tottenham Hotspur are an English Premier league team from London. Nicknames are Spurs and lillywhites. Homeground is White Hart Lane. Tottenham were the first ever team in the 20th centery to archieve the league and FA Cup in 1960-61 season, Tottenham were the first ever english team to win a major european trophy. In the 1980's spurs won several trophies the FA Cup, FA Community Shield, UEFA 1983-84. In additiona, they are the current Football League Cup holders, Beating Chelsea 2-1 in extra time. This Victory means that Spurs have won a trophy in each of the last six decades- an archievment only matched by Manchester United.
The club's Latin motto is Audere est Facere( in english: To Dareis to Do)and it's an emblem is a cockerel standing upon a football. The club has a long-standingrivalry with neighbours Arsenal andand matches between the two teams are know as the North London Derby.
Tottenham have had various expierianced players played for them, Dimitar Berbatov, Robbie Keane, David Bentley, Jermaine Jenas, Gomes, Aaron Lennon, Luka Modrić, Mexcican Star Giovanni Dos Santos, With Harry Redknapp as a manager they do have a belif of going to europe.
