Try a Mexican side if you want to be even more unique. America or Santos Laguna.

Santos Laguna have Christian Benitez, Oswaldo Sanchez and some others with decent OVR's.

Doesn't matter. Wikipedia takes care of the history and has info on players. I've done a couple of threads before without knowing much about the league.

id recommend Benfica because of the amazing squad on paper, plus they are an all round interesting team

and for the Brasileiro
how could you overlook Palmeiras, striking combination of Marquinhos and Keirisson
or Sao Paulo if you wanted to go with a more well known club...

Italy...
i did a Napoli mm, squad needs work but it is good fun..
AS Roma..needs minimal changing, amazing team to play with.

or you could go crazy and do a Mexican one... will be hard to get interest.. but will probly be the most induvidual mm on the forums along with xen's (and mine )

whatever you do. DO NOT do an english team.... theyr'e lame now.
thanks Cantona and i agree, i know pittance about the brasileiro, and im tearing up the mm forums with em

I think that I'd rather do a Brazillian MM because its not as easy as an Mexican MM. I cant beleive that this MM has nearly got to 1000. 17 posts to go

Actually some guy did Sao Paulo before you

btw, I told you the other day in the Valencia thread that when there are 2 in a market it isn't an oligopoly its a duopoly although a duopoly is a form of oligopoly. Seeing as you like Economics I thought you may like to know

no such thing as a duopoly in a basic market structure, it could be a branch off as you suggested.. but oligolpoly refers to TWO or more firms dominating a market with many smaller firms...

so it makes more sense to use oligopoly in a footballing sense, because there are not only TWO companies competing.

I'm well aware of that. Look up duopoly and you'll see what it means.

Duopoly - Economypedia.com | Economic Dictionary, Economic Terms

I'm studying Economics too but I imagine I'm further on than you are so I think I know

While there may be more than 2 competing it was said in the context of breaking up the barca/madrid monopoly which is a duopoly seeing as there are two.

he was referring to breaking the barca/madrid "monopoly" with villareal, suggesting an external influence...just read about duogopoly.. you were correct, but id still use oligopoly..its not as if clubs such as valencia and sevilla were far from them. your 18, youd be studying year 12 eco ey?

Does exist though, you have to admit that

There is still an external influence with a duopoly, as there is with an oligopoly, seeing as both mean having a smaller share of the market than in a monopoly.

Not really an argument either, just topical stuff

I'm supposedly doing a degree in this next year so I have to show at least some interest

and yeah Napoli are solid and fun, Serie A just becomes a little tedious after a while though.
