He has already made 50 appearances this season and scored 1 goal. He'll have to be on the top of his game today if he wants to keep out Tevez and Rooney who between them have scored 87 goals between. ![]() Didier Drogba has been a sensation this season scoring 40 goals in all competitions. He has played as a lone striker for most of the season and that it partially the reason for him scoring so much goals, since he doesn't have anyone to share them with. The Man United defence has been abit shaky over the past few weeks and Drogba could be able to take advantage of that.

Four-midable ![]() ^Ryan Giggs celebrates after scoring the equaliser^ ![]() Man United have sent the Chelsea fans and players back home to London after being on the end of a 4-1 thumping. Goals from Giggs, Rooney, Tevez and Ronaldo gave Man United a comfortable 3 points at Old Trafford. But it wasn't a simple walk in the park for United for the whole match. Lampard got the first chance of the match in the 3rd minute. He controlled the ball on the edge of the box but his tame shot was straight at Van Der Sar. Man United had a good chance to take the lead in the 12th minute. Ronaldo crossed the ball into the box and Rooney headed the ball over Cech but it came back it play off the post for Carvalho to clear. Rooney had another good chance to score around 10 minutes later when he was one-on-one with Cech but his shot was too close to the keeper and he saved it. From this chance, Chelsea broke quickly. The ball was played through the midfield and then down the side of the defence to Lampard. He rolled the ball into the path of Ballack and he took one touch before slotting it into the bottom corner. Many thought that Man United would be going into the break 1-0 down but two goals in the space of 3 minutes meant that United would be going in 2-1 up. The first goal was caused my a defensive blunder. Rooney got the ball about 35 yards from goal, both Carvalho and Bosingwa came to Rooney which left a big gap behing them for someone to run into. Giggs ran into the space, Rooney threaded the ball past the defenders to Giggs and he ran at Cech before smashing the ball into the goal. Rooney got the second in first half injury time. Carrick dribbled the ball into the box before smashing the ball at goal. It hit the front post and rolled across the face of goal for Rooney to tap into the net and give Man United the lead going into half-time. Both teams were pretty even in the early moments of the second half with both sides not creating a clear cut chance. But it was Man United that got the chance and they took it putting them into a comanding lead. Tevez received the ball about 40 yards from goal and ran at Terry. Once he got past him, he took a shot from 25 yards. It looked to be going wide but it just curled at the end and went in off the post. Ronaldo put the final nail in Chelsea's coffin 15 minutes from time. Evra got the better of Bosingwa and managed to get his cross in. The Chelsea defenders all went to the front post leaving Ronaldo all alone at the back. He had time to set himself before volleying the ball into the back of the net. Sir Alex brought on Fabio, Rafael and Nani in the last 10 minutes for Giggs, Neville and Ronaldo. Nani had a good chance to grab another goal late on but his chip wasn't high enough and Cech grabbed the shot. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ![]() Man United Van Der Sar - 7 Neville - 6 Ferdinand - 7 Vidic - 6 Evra - 7 Ronaldo - 8 Carrick - 6 Scholes - 6 Giggs - 6 Tevez - 7 Rooney - 8 Subs Fabio - 3 Rafael - 6 Nani - 2 Chelsea Cech - 5 Bosingwa - 4 Carvalho - 6 Terry - 6 A. Another outrageously impressive victory, you certainly make the most of your chances, you and Chelsea had the same number of shots on target. I think the player ratings are kind of unneccessary though. What difficulty are you playing on?

Man City V Man United FA Cup Semi-Final Venue: City of Manchester Stadium(47,501) Referee: Mark Halsey Kick-Off: 17:15 GMT For the local fans of Manchester City and Manchester United this is the one of the most important games of the season because the winning team will get the bragging rights until the two teams meet again. The last time these two met was in February where it took two late goals from Man United to seal the win after Jo had given City the lead. This will be even more important than a normal derby because this time a FA Cup final spot is up for grabs, who will get it? http://i709.photobucket.com/albums/ww99/Rory_OB/Round%20badges/679-1.png http://i709.photobucket.com/albums/ww99/Rory_OB/Jerseys/manc_home.png -------------------Hart------------------- ---Zabaleta---Dunne--Richards---Garrido--- Wright Phillips--Kompany--Johnson---Robinho -------------------Elano------------------- ---------------------Jo--------------------- http://i709.photobucket.com/albums/ww99/Rory_OB/Round%20badges/680-1.png http://i709.photobucket.com/albums/ww99/Rory_OB/Jerseys/manu_home.png -----------Van Der Sar----------- Rafael-----Evans---Vidic------Evra Ronaldo---Veloso--Anderson---Nani ---------Berbatov--Tevez--------- Road to the Semi-Final: Portsmouth 0-4 Man Utd - 3rd Round Man Utd 5-0 Blackburn - 4th Round Man Utd 4-2 Bolton - 5th Round Man Utd 3-0 Chelsea - 1/4 Final Man City 2-1 Everton - 3rd Round Slalalalaorpe 0-1 Man City - 4th Round Derby 1-6 Man City - 5th Round Middlesbro 1-2 Man City - 1/4 Final Form: United - WWWWW City - WDWLW Last Result: Man Utd 4-1 Chelsea Man City 1-0 Liverpool Key Players: http://i709.photobucket.com/albums/ww99/Rory_OB/5119142.png Joe Hart has kept 14 cleansheets throughout this season but will have his work cut out for him against Berbatov, Tevez and Ronaldo to name a few. Can he get his 15th cleansheet of the season or will he be picking the ball out of the net more times than he saved the it? http://i709.photobucket.com/albums/ww99/Rory_OB/8826161.png Jo is Man City's lone striker with Elano just playing behind him. From this position he has scored 19 goals but that is no match for Tevez's 38. He gave the Man United defenders alot to deal with in February and scored City's only goal. Will he give the defenders a nightmares or will the big man be made feel small by Vidic?

Sorry for the lack of updates as of late, it has been because we have been getting alot of homework recently since the exams are coming up. Also I'm getting to the end of the football season so there has been a pile up of matches and training which has given me even less time but I hope to get a couple updates over the next week or so

Rooney Interview ![]() Welcome Wayne!
Thanks, It's nice to be here OK, Have you ever thought about leaving Man United at anytime in your career? No, from the first day I arrived here I knew that this was the place that I wanted to stay for the rest of my career. Do you think that this is the best team that Man United have ever had? Thats a question that has been asked alot over the past few years because of the recent success. I would have to say that it is, the team in the 60's and 70's was a brilliant team but this team has better strength in depth which I think it has given us the advantage over them. You've been unbeaten for nearly a year now and have won 5 trophies already this season, what do you think has been the biggest factor in your success? I would have to say that it is the the constinacy of the whole team. We've been playing brilliantly for the whole season and that has been reflected on the results. OK, now for the more fun questions. Who's the biggest joker in the team? I say that would have to be Rio(Ferdinand) and Gazza(Neville). They are always pulling pranks like putting your clothes in the shower and telling jokes. Who is the smartest at the club? Edwin(Van Der Sar) is pretty smart and so is Giggsy. Who is the worst trainer? That would have to be Berba he justs walks around the pitch but he still plays brillaint football. Who is the best trainer? Scholes and Fletcher give their all at training and in matches. They're always closing down the other players in the practice matches. Who dresses the worst? I say that would have to be Cristiano(Ronaldo). He gets clothes off the biggest labels but everyone else thinks that they look horrible. That concludes our interview, Thank you Wayne. No problem it was my pleasure
