^Berbatov ran rings around the Blackburn defence today^

Blackburn must be sick of the sight of Man United by now because in the 4 games they have played against them, they conceded 19 goals and only scored 1. What is even worse for Blackburn is that they have to play Man United again later this month. The win today now means that Man United have gone 50 games unbeaten in all competitions.

The Blackburn defence knew that they would be in for a hard day at the office with only 2 minutes gone. Ronaldo crossed the ball into Berbatov and he headed the ball down into the ground but the ball came back into play off the foot of the post.

With 20 minutes gone in the game, United took the lead. Rooney got the ball on the half way line, spun and played Park down the wing with no one in front of him. He cut into the box and dribbled past Warnock before sliding the ball across the face of the goal and into the far corner.

That goal opened the floodgates and within 4 minutes United were 2-0 up. The attack started all the way at the back with Foster and 15 seconds later it was in the net. It was a brilliant passing move with no player having more than 2 touches. After being passed all the way down the pitch, the ball ended up at the feet of Rooney and he slid the ball into Berbatov and he slotted it into the bottom corner.

Man United still attacked looking to give their fans a show at Old Trafford. Berbatov got his second in the 31st minute and it was after some fantastic passing once again. Carrick lobbed the ball over to Ronaldo on the wing and with his first touch, he fizzed the ball across the 6 yard box for Berbatov to smash past Robinson.

In first half stoppage time, Rooney got his goal. Ronaldo floated a high ball into the box, Rooney rose above everyone and headed the ball into the top corner. Man United went into the dressing rooms much the better team and had a 4 goal advantage.

It didn't take long for Man United to continue where they left off at the end of first half. Straight from the kick-off, Rooney got the ball and took the Blackburn defence on. He then slid the ball into the path of Berbatov and he stroked the ball in with his first touch.

Sir Alex decided to rest some of his big stars for the last 15 minutes as he took Berbatov and Scholes off for Tevez and Hargreaves. Five minutes later and he was making another change because of an injury. Tevez, who had only been on the pitch for 5 minutes had to be taken off and Nani came on as Ronaldo went up front with Rooney.

Blackburn managed to not concede anymore goals and the game finished 5-0 to Manchester United.
