^United were saved by a late goal by Carlos Tevez^

Team Changes: Some bookies had made Arsenal favourite for this match after Man United’s poor performance against Heerenveen. Neville and Evra both returned to the starting team after missing out in mid-week. Evans came into the back-line as Rio Ferdinand started his 5 game ban. Park had to make do with a place on the bench as Ryan Giggs came back into the team. Paul Scholes also came back into the team after being left out of the team in mid-week. Tevez and Rooney started upfront again.

Both teams started the match very brightly but it was Arsenal who got the early advantage. Van Persie was in the box and the ball deflected into his path and he slotted the ball into the top corner of the net. It took United only 1 minute to equalise though. Rooney got the ball from the kick-off and immediately ran at the Arsenal defence. He got past both Toure and Gallas before smashing the ball into the bottom corner.

Tevez was unlucky not to give United the lead in the 19th minute. He chipped the ball over Almunia but he just managed the get a touch to it and Steven Taylor came in and cleared the ball off the line. Arsenal took the lead again in the 37th minute. Adebayor drilled the ball across the face off goal and Van Persie was at the back post to tap the ball into an empty net.

Rooney nearly equalised on the stroke of half-time. Rooney dribbled the ball into the box and smashed the ball across the face of goal but it clipped the outside of the far post and went out for a goal-kick. You could argue that United were the better team in the first half but they just couldn’t get the final ball right and suffered because of it. The United fans will be looking to see a better attacking performance in the second half.

Man United hit the post again 2 minutes into the second half. He cut in onto his left foot and smashed the ball towards the corner but it hit the foot of the post and went back out into play. Arsenal extended their lead right on the hour mark. Van Persie rolled the ball across to Adebayor and he smashed the ball into the back of the net.

9 minutes later Man United were back in the game. Ronaldo cut from the wing and took a shot but Almunia saved it, the ball fell to Tevez though and he tapped the ball into the net and sprinted to the half-line. Man United pushed everyone forward in the last couple of minutes and they got their rewards. Tevez had the ball and just wouldn’t give up even though there was about 3 defenders around him. He managed to turn and lose them and curled the ball into the net from a very tight angle.

United were lucky again but their unbeaten streak is still intact and have now gone 25 games unbeaten in all competitions. Man United play Inter Milan in the Champions League next with the chance to secure their place in the last 16.

I thought I'd give him a 5 game ban

I gave him a 3 game ban because of the red(the ball was no where hear him when he tackled)
The other 2 game ban is from the club because he cost me my 100% record

Yes no one on my team gets injured so I have to play the same team all the time and sometimes I just don't bother to rotate

No

I had a period in the Christmas time when alot of my players were knackered for every match so I put the fitness level up from 7 to 8 and now they don't get tired at all

Wow. Mine's 10 and sometimes they get tired. Don't Giggs and Scholes ever have yellow energy bars?? They're the worst for me..
