I have just signed Henrique and I'm signing a new keeper after Villa match...
PS. Its not Schmiechel

Great start so far, really looking good. Maybe add more detail and graphics to the match preview and report, but generally really good.

Just make sure you don't sell Cahill

Everton intrest in Alan Hutton

Tottenham's Alan Hutton maybe on his way to Merseyside after David Moyes revealed that the ex-Rangers right-back is the next 'big thing'. Alan Hutton handed in a transfer request after Tottenham signed Manchester City right-back Verdum Corluka. Alan Hutton is considering the move but says he'll give it time. He said "Its a big thing moving club and I am prepered but I would like to fight for my place before I give up on it". According to the Sun, David Moyes has apparently make an offer of 6 million for the right-back, however, the Everton manager denies doing so.

Cahill and Arteta make 9 men Villa pay!

Aston Villa were made to pay by Everton as the Home side won 3-0. Martin Laursen and Nicky Shorey were both sent for an early shower as Everton ran riot. The first incident of the match came after 4 minutes when Gabriel Agbonlahor hit the bar from a 25 yard shot, Villa were cheering and Everton hardly had the ball, but as the game progressed, Aston Villa got sloppy and in the 22nd minute, Steven Pienaar was taken out by villa skipper Martin Laursen. The ref didn't think twice and gave Laursen a straight-red card. From the free-kick, Cahill, the lay-off man, passed the ball to Leighton Baines who struck it hard and low towards the bottom corner, but it just missed the post. As the game went on, Everton showed a bit of characeter and Cahill got his reward, he took the ball past Shorey, then past Cuéllar and finished superbly past Friedal. Shorey got a yellow card for flying into the Aussie, but advantage was played, superb refereeing. At Half Time, Everton must have thought they could expand on this lead, 4 minutes into the second have and Jacobson was brought down roughly by Shorey, who then got his marching orders. With the score at 1-0, Everton brought on Leon Osman and Louis Saha, and this changed the game, In the 74th minute, Leon Osman, took it round Luke Young and crossed the ball in for Fellaini who couldn't get his head to the ball, Cahill did though and it went in off the post. Friedal was furious and through the ball away, lucky the ref didn't see. Aston Villa tried hard to for the last ten minutes and were awarded a coner, however Barry's cross was gathered by Howard who punted the ball up for Saha, Cuéllar was the only Villa man back, and he failed under the pressure and missed the ball, Saha was through and took it towards Friedal, Saha pulled the trigger back and dummied, Friedal was caught off guard by this and slipped and Saha rolled it into the path of Mikel Arteta who couldn't miss.

Goals: Tim Cahill 42' and 74', Mikel Arteta 85'
Red Cards : Martin Laursen 22', Nicky Shorey 51'
Man of the Match : Tim Cahill

Transfer Targets

Marco Amelia
The Palermo Keeper impressed David Moyes when Palermo played Bolton in the UEFA Cup last year, Moyes has apparently put in a £2.5 million offer for the Italian keeper

Alan Hutton
The Spurs right-back hasn't started a game for Tottenham for a while and is listed on the transfer window. Verdum Corluka was bought by Tottenham at the start of the season and it looks like Everton could snatch him

Lassana Diarra
Portsmouth turned down an £8 million offer from Manchester City, however Everton's cash is limited and it is unlikely he will move to Everton. David Moyes spoke highly of Diarra by saying he was 'a breath of fresh air'

Joao Moutinho
The Sporting Lisbon playmaker is wanted by several clubs around the world, including Barcelona and Chelsea. It is unlikely he will be wearing a Blue Shirt in Merseyside anytime soon.
