Arteta 54', 84' and 90' (pen)
Cahill 61'

RED CARD = Rodwell 51', Lescott 57', Carragher 85', Agger 90'

Hello Everyone, Martin Tyler and Andy Gray here ready for kick-off. Who do you think will win Andy?. Well I think it will be tough but I think Liverpool will win. Ok, the teams are out there, and are ready for kick-off

1' Liverpool kick-off

2' Liverpool pass the ball past Everton bodies until Albert Reira is fouled by Andy Van der Meyde, Liverpool have a free-kick in a promising position.

2' Dossena's looping header beats Amelia who had no chance.

5' Great passing play from Everton almost sets up Anichebe's equaliser but Reina makes a great save

9' Fernando Torres outjumps Leighton Baines and almost scores Liverpool's second, but Amelia tips it over fantastically

17' Jamie Carragher recieves a yellow card for a challenge on Jack Rodwell. The lay-off man is called and Leighton Baines' shotis blocked and flies over the crossbar, corner!

19' Bad control from both sides after some encouraging play from Everton

21' Everton fail to clear Arbeloa's cross and Keane taps in from 3 yards

25' Everton can't pass to save their lives, and there shape is all wrong

34' Appauling refereeing after a bad challenge from Torres, he awards Liverpool a free-kick, The wall blocks Gerrard's shot but Macherano heads home

35' Everton make all 3 subs

36' Arteta is fouled in the area, the ref waves play on and a kid from the cround shouts "The refs are German" and hides behind his Dad

45' Robbie Keane breaks through but Tim Howard (Sub no. 1) saves it

51' Jack Rodwell recieves a red card for a lunge on Kuyt. Play continues and Fernando Torres heads Liverpool into a 4-0 lead

52' Gerrard breaks clear and scores past Howard. Game Over

53' Mikel Arteta runs past Dossena, and Carragher, and Agger and Reina, and roles it in for a fantastic goal

57' Joleon Lescott loses his head and slide tackles Fernando Torres when he doesn't have the ball. Another red card

61' Tim Cahill (Sub no. 2) pulls another goal back, and it came from an Arteta corner

70' VICTOR ANICHEBE has scored the goal of the season. An overhead kick from 17 yards after Cahill had a shot deflected. Reina stood no chance!

78' Everton fans are throwing there hats down as Phil Neville's shot hits the bar

84' Everton fans could be amazed now because the scored is 5 - 4, Mikel Arteta getting his second and it was fairly simple as he ran past Carragher and slotted into the corner

85' Jamie Carragher has been sent off after a nasty collision with Tim Cahill. It's his second yellow

90' Daniel Agger fouls Tim Cahill in the area and its a penalty, Agger recieves a red card for his actions, Arteta...Its 5 - 5, Reina went the wrong way, what a distaster for Liverpool

90+ Final Whistle blows...now its Extra-Time

92' Fernando Torres misses a golden chance to put his side ahead, but Howard saves the spaniard's header

95' Howards long kick upfield finds Mikel Arteta who failes under the pressure and is tackled by Dossena

99' Robbie Keane heads a Gerrard corner against the bar, but Henrique heads his rebound clear. Lucky escape for Everton

105' Half Time of Extra Time

112' Victor Anichebe misses a simple header from 9 yards. Mikel Arteta can't believe it

118' Tim Cahill could have won the game as his shot misses the far post

120' Final Whistle .... PENALTIES

I'm having an apple and a drink and then its the dreaded penalties

PENALTIES

PENALTY 1 = FERNANDO TORRES
The spaniard steps up and puts it in the Corner

PENALTY 1 = VICTOR ANICHEBE
He steps up, but Pepe Reina has saved it!

PENALTY 2 = DIRK KUYT
The Dutchman steps up and blasts it waaaay over the bar!

PENALTY 2 = HENRIQUE
The Brazilian runs up to the spot and has also missed, this time, it hits the post

PENALTY 3 = STEVEN GERRARD
The Liverpool captain sprints up and hits it straight down the middle, but Howard stays there too and that is saved

PENALTY 3 = MIKEL ARTETA
The spaniard runs up and places it in the corner, 1 - 1 now

PENALTY 4 = JAVIER MACHERANO
The Argentinan blasts the ball in the top corner, very stylish!

PENALTY 4 = TIM CAHILL
The Aussie simply chips it into the open net and Reina dived to his left, 2 - 2

ITS ALL DOWN TO THE FINAL TWO PENALTY TAKERS

PENALTY 5 = ROBBIE KEANE
The Irishman has tried to be cool in walking up to the spot and has passed it wide, If Everton score now, they win!

PENALTY 5 = PHIL NEVILLE
The Everton captain looks to win the game with this spot kick, he steps up and ........scores! EVERTON HAVE WON THE GAME!

Everton shell-shocked

Manchester City snatched a 1 - 0 victory over Everton, who had dominated the match. Everton created most of the chances and had 60% of the possession but Manchester City took all three points, which puts them 3 points behind Everton. Well, the Toffee's had the better of the chances in the first half as Mikel Arteta hit the post and Leon Osman's curling shot was saved by Joe Hart. Manchester City's best chance of the first half was Jo, who went past Leighton Baines and shot into the side-netting. As Half-Time came, Everton were awarded a free-kick for a push in the back by Micah Richards, The lay-off man was called and Leighton Baines stood away from the ball, seeing where he could shoot the ball clearly. Cahill rolled it into his path and he shot through the wall, it looked like it was going in and Joe Hart was beaten, but it rattled the crossbar and bounced up into the air, where Hart claimed the ball.
The second half brought much more of a storyline as Manchester City started to fight back against the league leaders and Petrov almost capitolized on a Baines error, but Petrov's pace didn't beat Phil Neville's sliding challenge. Mark Halsey handed out 7 yellow cards in the match which the FA demeed to be inopropriate behavior. As the game drew to a close, Everton seemed to turn off and get sloppy, Man City saw this and immediately took action and in the Final minute got there goal as Elano played a one-two with Jo and then pushed the ball past Tim Howard. Everton Manager David Moyes had this to say "We will be training hard for Chelsea next week, but the mid-week match where we needed to play Extra-Time did no good for our energy today, Joleon and Jack will be back and are likely to play a part in the game, but today was rather dissapointing that we didn't get a point"

Goals: Elano 90'
Man of the Match: Jo

Ye....I was so annoyed at Yobo, because he had kept Elano quiet all game until that moment!
