Breaking News

Newcastle has given out a statement today stating that frank Rijkaard has been picked for the empty spot at Newcastle. We here at sky sport think that this was a good choice and we wish frank good luck with his new job.

Frank Rijkaard and Newcastle will have a interview tomorrow.

Hello and welcome to the exclusive interview with the new manager of Newcastle. Mr Rijkaard will be answering only questions to do with him taking over the managerial reigns of the club and his plans for the club

Q. Why did you come to Newcastle was it because nobody else wanted
you?

I came to Newcastle because i got the offer and many other offers from “bigger “clubs even a so called “big four” club

Q: No offense to the club, but Mr.Rijkaard, it's certainly a step down from Barcelona to a struggling Newcastle side. How do you think you'll cope here at St. James'?

No it is not a step down. Barcelona were a team full of great players and here at Newcastle it is the same. A team full of great players. I think i will cope with Newcastle very well as the owner as given me a big budget and given me the right to sign any players i want to club no matter the cost.

Q. Does anyone else say you look like Ruud Gullit?

I am not here to talk about my looks but I will say that he looks like me and not the other way round.

Q. Do you have any Transfer targets?

Yes I have already set up a couple of targets that I will want to bring to the club. I will not be saying who but I will be giving you this. I will sign 1 or 2 forward, 1 midfielder and 1 defender.

Q. Who do you feel are the key players that you'll want to re-sign first?

I might be signing an old player from Barcelona who told me that he wants to play under me as long as I manage.

Q. Is there anyone from either Sparta or Barcelona that you'd like to reunite with at Newcastle?

Yes there is one player.

Q. What were your reasons for benching Ronaldinho during your time at Barcelona?

I am not here to talk about my time at Barcelona but i am happy that he found a place he can become a better player than he ever was. He is still growing and can play till he is 40.

Q - Do you think you can take Newcastle to top 4?

Yes I can. The top four are just normal clubs and not more superior than any of the clubs here at the premier league.

Q. Is there a place for Alan Shearer on your management team?

Alan shearer called me to give me congrats on me getting the great job of managing Newcastle. I told him that I will be needing help with running the club with training the strikers but he said that he is looking to manage a club.
