I'd like to start off by saying, I'm sorry for the lack of history, squad bio's, and general information. Unfortunately, SD Huesca have very little to be proud off. This is their second ever season in Liga Adelante, so their players (and the club itself) are relatively unknown.
I hope to change this, so hopefully, you'll follow me on this attempt to make SD Huesca a household name! If anyone has any constructive criticism, I'd love to hear it, as I only want to make this better! |

Well from what i have seen so far i can make some predictions:
1. You are relatively new and have chosen a team that wasn't part of G14.* 2. You seem to like a challenge and i respect that 3. I hope to see this thread going places. If you need any help with simple graphics i can help, however my skills are quite limited ![]() Wish you luck, Hales * The G-14 was an organisation of European football clubs, that existed between 2000 and 2008. The G-14 clubs were spread across seven different countries, and had won around 250 national league titles between them. Three came from the top division of Italy; England, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain all featured two, and one came from Portugal. G-14 members had won the European Cup/Champions League 41 times out of 51 seasons. Just incase anyone wants to know anything

No there is no OP. Huesca's stadium only holds 8,000 people, and doesn't have much history behind it.
As I said earlier, this is their second EVER season in Liga Adelante (Spain's 'B' league), and their last was in 1950. I hope to make this really informative, and that's one of the main reasons i picked Huesca. They're an unknown club, struggling to survive, and I really want to take them places. Update soon, promise it'll be a good one! |

Sorry about that Hale, I didn't notice it. I should be fine for now, but if I ever need help, I know who to go to
Thanks for that Vasi4, nice to see people don't mind the lack of a 'proper' OP. Last edited by 7DavidVilla; 14-12-2008 at 02:10 PM.. |

![]() Rumors Of Match Fixing Rock Spain ![]() There have occasionally been rumours and whispers of attempted bribery, but nothing has ever reached the public domain. Until now. Last week, La Liga was shaken up by two separate allegations of match-fixing, and this week was no different, with yet another incident being reported. It all started last Monday, when former Tenerife player, Jesuli, told Madrid’s El Mundo that he and his second division team-mates had each received €6,000 ($7,606) for losing the last game of the 2007/08 season against Malaga, who needed to win in order to gain promotion. "I can't be sure that they took the money, but if it reached me, then I suppose that it also reached them." Tenerife duly lost 2-1 and Malaga were promoted ahead of Real Sociedad, who have remained in Liga Adelante since. A second possible episode of match-fixing came to light on Wednesday. Spanish TV channel, Popular TV, aired a recording of an alleged conversation between Levante captain Inaki Descarga, and then club president Julio Romero, the day after Levante had lost 2-0 away to Athletic Bilbao on the last day of the 2006/07 season, a result which allowed Bilbao to avoid the first ever relegation in their proud history. The audio recording allegedly has Descarga saying to Romero: "Now they all want their bonus. It is in the safe deposit. If you see the game, you would not say that it was fixed." Romero allegedly replies by saying: "Whatever is said, we have to say that we went to win the game."
The former Levante president then adds that: "We have made sure that, in the federation, Villar knows as well." Romero then hints that Levante might receive some favours from Villar, for having helped his former club. In an incident similar to that of Monday’s, Liga Segunda B side Écija Balompié, are accused of throwing their game against SD Huesca, ensuring Huesca’s promotion to Liga Adelante. Spain’s El Periódico recently caught wind of a possible match-fix, in which Huesca coach Antonio Calderon supposedly offered somewhere in the region of €17,500. Balompié’s José Luque alleges " I was offered €2,000, and I’m sure the same was offered to my team-mates. The entire match was planned. " Huesca won the match, beating Balompié 3-1 on the final match day. All clubs involved were not available for comment. Huesca have since stated that they will be holding a press conference later this week. |

More on how this affects Huesca later. First, I need sleep...
Also, would people like to suggest any possible signings for Huesca? Keep in mind, our best player is 68 ovr, so I'd prefer suggestions to be under that.
