History

The club were founded in 1892 as BFC Hertha, named after a blue and white ship with a smokestack
In 1920, Hertha merged with Berliner Sport-Club, and continued to have success where they left off before.
Hertha were reformed in 1945, after play was suspended because of World War II
Hertha were caught in 2 scandals. The first one, they were thrown out of the Bundesliga in 1964, because of trying to bribe players to play in Berlin. The second one, in 1971, was because of alleged match-fixing, and after this, they admitted they were 6 Million DB in debt.
Over the years, Hertha hhave strengthened their position in the Bundesliga, and improved financially. Last season, they finshed 10th, and they believe they can improve on their position this season.

This forum needs a good clean up - There's 50odd pages and only 3, if that, contain MM that are in use.

Theres no point starting one if you dont intend to get it past 500 posts, and with all of the threads you have had in the past most of the comments will be like the ones above.

If you do stick to one thread and do it well i will read it, Hertha are a great team for a MM so i hope you keep it going, not just start another one.
