Season Recap 2007/08

A Season Of Big Achievements
Bayern Munich have come along way since last year. After being pushed down to 5th place during the 2006/2007 season they were looking to come back with a few new talents and win it all the following year. With the addition of Luca Toni, Miroslav Klose, and Ribery, Bayern now managed to win the Bundesliga and reach the semifinals of the Uefa Cup.

There Streak came well as they only lost two times last season and came out champions with high hopes for the following year. Luca Toni proved himself last season as he emerged as the top goal scorer for the bundesliga and had a great start to his new club. Ribery quickly became the crowd favorite with his stunning abilities from free kicks and his fast dribbling style to awe the fans.

Bayern also had to say some farewell's to a true legend. Previous goalkeeper Oliver Kahn retired as he shed a few tears upon his departure. He said he did not want to leave bayern and might come back as a goal keeper coach to keep the young lads in top shape. He also handed down the captaincy to Van Bommel. Kahn was the captain for Bayern since 1996 and has had an amazing finish with 429 appearances for the club.
------------------------

Transfers In So Far.

Hans Jorg Butt
Bayern have made a move and signed Hans from Benifica for a two year contract deal so far this summer. Hans said " Im very happy to be with such a outstanding club such as Bayern, i know i can live up to their expectations and win the Bundesliga" Bayen's Teamates look forward to have him on the team.

Massimo Oddo
Oddo is being added to the roster this season, by a loan from Italy's Giants Ac Milan. Milan has stated that if Oddo preforms well that they well let him stay and sell him to Bayern. Oddo cant wait to start in his new club, with well known players he is looking to make a big impact to impress the fans.

Tim Borowski
Tim is joining Bayern from another German Giant, Werder Bremen. Having shown great talent last season he sure caught Bayern's eye. Since Bremen had no interest in extending Borowski's contract Bayern quickly picked him up this summer from the Free agent window.
------------------------------------

New Coach To Take Over!

Jurgen Klinsmann new coach.
The former coach for Germany during the 2006 world cup is going to be with Bayern for the upcoming years. He has a lot of fans to impress as well as the players. This will be his first ever club coaching level and he said he could not choose a better club then Bayern. He is looking forward to bring some new talent in this summer as well as keeping a steady but yet strong team. He is looking forward to meet the rest of the staff, and the players of Bayern Munich. He will have a lot of work ahead of him as he has to keep Bayern in the champions league, as well as holding on to the Bundesliga Title.
