i bought Bojan for my chelsea team and he bangs in the goals! also try Babel on the LW the defenders and RM's usualy cant keep up with him...

Chelsea: Scolari returns to his normal formation after trying a new formation against Bayer Leverkusen mid-week which most argue created many more chances for the Blues. Karim Benzema will take to the bench in place of Didier Drogba today as Scolari bounces between the two players. Chelsea have a big match here against the 3rd place Everton with a massive 15 points ahead of the Toffees.

Everton: Everton are in prime position heading into the New Year to battle for European soccer. Everton are in a tight race for 3rd at the moment with Blackburn who are only 1 point behind them after being beaten by Chelsea.

First Half:

The first half started off abnormally for Chelsea. Everyone who has been reading reports knows Chelsea almost always gets an early goal. This time Everton did.

Saha put the Toffees ahead in the 8th minute his 5th if the season.

Four minutes later Deco returned the favour from a Joe Cole cross he vollied as it fell to his feet.

17 minutes later the Blues had another kind of like the first one but instead Deco crossed and Joe Cole scored.

It started with a Frank Lampard short corner to Deco who then hit the cross.

There was plenty of midfield play but not much more chances for either team until the last minutes.

In the 45th minute Drogba was on a counter attack/break away. He bagged the goal, his 15th of the season.

Haftime Score Chelsea 3 Everton 1

Second Half:

The second half started with a bit of flair when Chelsea attacked and Bosingwa had a beautifal cross to 2 Chelsea players in the box.

Anelka hit the post with his header.

A few minutes later Deco had a cross that Lampard just missed by inches.

After that the game went dull.

Midfield play was all that seemed to happen although Chelsea got shots off nothing was a decent chance.

The game ended Chelsea 3-1 Everton. A game mainly of Chelsea's possession and shots, Everton only finishing with 4 shots.

Scolari Comments: Joe Cole gets MOTM today after a terrific performance by the Englishman. He was a force to be reckoned with down the wing today. He scored 1 goal and created the first for us! He was involved in 2 or our 3 goals which helped us to the win. Joe Cole had several good crosses that came out unanswered by players in the middle.
