Club History: How it all Began
One of three London Clubs today, Fulham were founded in 1879 by a group of worshippers at the church of England, Star Road, West Kensington. Formerly known as Fulham St Andrew's Church Sunday School, they changed they're name to Fulham Football Club, after winning the West London Amateur Cup in 1887. They then won the West London League in 1893 at the first attempt, 6 years later. One of the club's first ever kits was half red, half white shirts with white shorts. It was 1896 when Fulham played they're first game in their new Stadium Craven Cottage against Minerva F.C., Craven Cottage has been Fulham's home ever since.

Club History: Recent Years
Current Manager Roy Hodgson was appointed manager of Fulham on 28 December 2007, only 4 days prior to the opening of January Transfer Market. Following a basket full of signings Roy Hodgson's side played Chelsea on New Years Day, in his first game in charge, Chelsea went on to win 2-1. After a Goaless draw at the Reebok Stadium against Bolton Wanderers, Roy Hodgson earned his first win in Charge against Aston Villa. With the season drawing to a close many Football pundits were writing off Fulham's chances of survival, but a Roy never lost faith and found a way to grab 4 wins of the 5 remaining matches that season, and help secure their place for another year.
