HALF-WAY THERE!

(Picture we were sent from a players manger on a passing plane)

Welcome to Ajax TV's exclusive on there plane. We were sent a picture of our plane that was sent by one of our players manger on a passing plane. Isn't that great. Well as you can see behind me the mood on the plane is pretty relaxed, everyone just foucused to get to New Zealand and start training for there first match. Unfortunley we wouldn't have any pictures or video of training.

We are now going around to ask some players what they think of this pre-season tour, we'll ask the few that aren't listening to Music.

Ajax TV Reporter: Here's our vice-captain and goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg. Maarten what do think of this pre-season tour?

Maarten Stekelenburg: I think it will be great. There's some tough teams in the a-league and some greta goalkeepers so I'm excited to see what happens.

Ajax TV Reporter: Here's defender Oleguer Presas, what do you think of our pre-season tour?

Oleguer Presas: I know alot of or team-mates are saying it will be tough, but no offence to the a-league but I think it will be a walk in the park I don't reckon any team there can beat us, so I guess it will be good for some practise.

Ajax TV Reporter: Some harsh words there from Oleguer, here's midfielder Urby Emanuelson, what do you think of our pre-season tour?

Urby Emanuelson: I think it will be great, we warm up for the up coming season and so do the teams from the a-league and we get to see any uup and coming superstars so if we want to sign them then yeah. SO it well be great for warming up and scouting.

Ajax TV Reporter: I don't think anyone would have though of scouting, well here's the last person not listening to music on this plane who speaks english, Luis Suarez, what do you think of the pre-season tour.

Luis Suarez: This will be a great tour, we get to warm up for the season and treat the Australian and New Zealand fans to a big european club.

Ajax TV Reporter: I'm sure there enjoy that.

Well that's it from AJax TV see you in a few hours when we land in New Zealand.

MATCH PREVEIW
AJAX VS WELLINGTON PHOENIX

Welcome to Ajax TV, today we are preveiwing Ajax's game against the a-leagues only New Zealand outfit Wellinghtin Phoenix.

Although Phoenix finished at the bottom of the a-league table last year they showed promising signs, now the get to face one of the biggest club in Euorpe Ajax which could really could put the rest of the teams on notice. While Ajax are looking to kick a long pre-season off with a win. Both teams will be fielding there strongest side, which will also see AJax's new signing
Andrei Arshavin make his debut for Ajax.

This match will be played at Wellington Phoenix's home ground Westpac Stadium.

Ajax look to strong for a up and coming side here, but Wellington Phoenix will try and hold them back, I just don't see it working.

Prediction: Wellington Phoenix 1-3 Ajax

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry about no metion of what squad I'm fielding, the rest of the matches will have the squad I'm fielding.

4 - 2 to Ajax.

Smeltz will score a brace, but you will overwhelm them anyway!

5-1 to you.

Smeltz should work his way through your defence.

PHOENIX STILL GROUNDED!

(Klaas-Jan Huntelaar celebrates his quick goal!)

If anyone was thinking this match was going to be close all that seemed to go away in a minute when Klaas quickly stole the ball ran up field and blasted in past the keeper. But then the thought cam back again when the game seemed to be in Phoenix's favor. They pulled some nice passes together and held possession and were unlucky many times not to go level but Ajax were determined to keep there lead and they regained control in the 25th minute when Huntelaar missed some chances. Then in the 34th minute when Arshavin broke and scored his first goal for Ajax. Celebrations were wield for both team and fans. Phoenix some how turned things around and again regained control but Ajax held out and went into the break leading by 2 goals.

The teams came back out and Ajax seemed asleep compared to there the phoenix, they were played all over but still phoenix couldn't get a goal. But one mistake from them woke Ajax up. In the 62nd minute Ajax received a free kick, Huntelaar toke it. He crossed it in and Aissati's header just went over. The game from then was back and fourth so Ajax manger
Marco van Basten decided they needed a change but that didn't happen in till the 86th minute when he toke off Lindgren for Vertonghen and Cvitanich came on for Huntelaar. This didn't really do much but Ajax held out for the victory in there first pre-season match.

Final Score: Wellington Phoenix 0-2 Ajax

I'm on professional, I know not that great. I've done 2 more matches of the pre-season but they will have to wait as I'm getting ready for the Tottenham game.
