INTERVEIW WITH OUR CAPTAIN!

Today on Ajax TV we have a interveiw with our captain Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, about our pre-season tour, him being named captain, what he want's to see on the pitch this season plus more.

Ajax.com Interviewer: Thanks Klaas-Jan for being here.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar: No problem, you can just call me Klaas.

Ajax.com Interviewer: Ok then Klaas, what is it like for you to be named captain of Ajax?

Klaas: It's great, it's one of the highest honors you can get at a club, and a club like Ajax it just makes it better.

Ajax.com Interviewer: What do you think of our pre-season tour and what do you think the rest of the team thinks about it?

Klaas: I think it will be a great tour, it's a up and coming league, many good players some youngsters look like they could be superstars. The team I reckon are taking it lightly I think there just looking at it as though it's a practise match against our reserves but I know we can't understatement them.

Ajax.com Interviewer: What about the Amsterdam Tournament?

Klaas: It will be tough but we only have to verse ARsenal who are a big team in ENgland and have won this tournament the last 2 years, were just determined to win it.

Ajax.com Interviewer: What do you want the team to achieve this season?

Klaas: Well first and for most win the league, we just missed out last year against our rivals PSV. If we win the league we qualify for the Champions League which would be good, and win both the KNVB cup and the Johan Cruijff Shield. I know it's alot but that is what you need to do as a big club, win!.

Ajax.com Interviewer: Can you give us any information about clubs wanting you?

Klaas: Yeah I can, I've been contacted by some pretty big clubs, but I can promise you and the fans I will not be leaving Ajax.

Ajax.com Interviewer: Well thanks for your time Klaas

Klaas: No problem, any time.

Andrei Arshavin Quits Zenit!

It's offical Andrei Arshavin has left (or quit) Zenit Saint Perterburg after seeing many clubs lose interest thanks to a big asking price. He said he didn't want to play for Zenit any more and just quit. Now as a free agent he will be hopeing for many clubs to regain interest in him.

One club that did not lose interest was Ajax, so they continue there negotions with Andrei but will not have to pay anything.

Reporter 1: Mr. Arshavin you had many bigger name clubs after you how come you came Ajax?

Translator: Вы имели много более больших названных клубов после того как вы почему вы пришли Ajax?

thanks, I decided to go with translations because he would only know how to speak English if he was leanring it over in Russia, but in a few months I'll probably have a interveiw with him in broken english.

AJAX NEARLY IN THE AIR!

As you may be able to see behind me Ajax are hoping onto there plane heading for New Zealand. This is Ajax's new plane which is sponsered by Qantas. The plane is getting read for lift off so I better hurry as I am meant to be going with Ajax. Here at Ajax TV will we have a update when were half way to New Zealand and at New Zealand. Till then have a happy 11th of May.
