JONES EYES TWO POTENTIAL TARGETS

Cardiff City boss, David Jones today gave out information on four transfer targets of his. Jones had insisted his squad needs strengthening, Since Fowler and Hasselbank have been gone.

David Healy

The Northern-Ireland hitman was un-stoppable For his Nation , as he was the highest scorer ever in there History! Healy, currently as Sunderland, is looking red-hot to join Bluebirds, with a deal expected to be around £500,000. David Jones thinks this this would be a great sighing "hes a great player he will score lots of goals for us if he signs and and hope the fans think this is a good player to try and sign

You should try and sign Italian CM Daniele Dessena from Sampdoria, he is young and quality.

Sheffield UTD 0-2 Cardiff City

After 2 minutes Rae was given a yellow card for what seemed to be a fair challenge. Johnson charges into the box from a nice one two with Parry and shoots but the keeper parried the ball out for a corner with his knees. A brilliantly placed corner right onto Johnson's head went inches over the crossbar, Cardiff City are frustrated for not being able to finish their chances against such a weak team.

Second Half

Beattie blasts a shot just wide of Heaton goal but he had it covered anyway. Rae fouled Cotterill, forcing him to be subbed off, close to a second yellow card but still on. Cardiff's Manager decided it would be best to sub Rae off instead of risking a second yellow leading to a red, Blake came on for Rae. GOAL!!! in the 85th minute a trademark defence breaking Johnson run led to a one on one which he sloted underneath the keepers body to put Cardiff in the lead. Johnson received a great ball by Parry which the keeper wasn't going to be beat by this time and punched it out for a corner. GOAL!! Johnson headed in the corner from an acute angle onto the far post to rebound into the goal, Kenny (GK) just saw the ball fly over him, onto the post and into the back of the net 5 minutes after the 1st goal. Although the delivery was just as good from Blake.
Full Time
