REDKANPP WANTS TOP 4

Harry Repknapp the new manger of Tottenham has come out today and said "I want a top 4 finish"

"We have the quality side and I'm sure we can break the top 4. I know that would mean knocking ethier Arsenal or Liverpool out and me and I'm sure the players want to knock Arsenal out."

It was also annouced that Spurs would name any tranfer targets later today.

Carlos Tevez today has come out today and requested he be transfered. He said "I don't want to sit on that bench I want to be playing first team football and that's something I can't get at UNited because of Berbatov."

PLAYING ITLAY'S TOP 5

SPurs today annouced there pre-season tour. They will be travelling to Italay to take on there top 5.

- Inter Milan
- Roma
- Juventus
- Fiorentina
- AC Milan.

On the 24th of June they will travel Stadio Giuseppe Meazza to play Inter Milan then 6 days later on the 30th of June they travel to San Siro to face AC Milan. Then just two days later on the 2nd of July they travel to Stadio Olimpico di Torin in Turin to face Juventus. 8 days on the 10th of July they travel to Stadio Olimpico in Rome to take on AS Roma and they finish there tour on the 16th of July at Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence taking on Fiorentina.

TEVEZ A LILYWHITE!

Just before Tottenham Hotspurs hopped on the plan (yes that includes Chirpy) they annouced the signing of Carlos Tevez. They sign him just days after he told United he wanted to move. It is believed Tottenham will pay $27 million and he will get payed $115,000 a match. Tevez also has this to say about his move.

"Tottenham will be a great club to play at, with the goals am sure they be able to do. I can't wait to start my patnership with Roman. I've been told I'll play in the tour. And one last thing I can't wait to play with Chirpy I heard he was great player"

Tevez will meet up with his new club the day after they arrive in Italy.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS VS INTER MILAN

This match see Harry's Redkanpp's first game in charge of Tottenham Hotspurs who finished 11th last season with Ramos. They will be facing current champions of Itlay Inter Milan. On a side note this see Carlos Tevez make his debut for Spurs. He will sporting his normal number 32.

SPurs have a big squad for this game but I don't think they will be setlled yet to face the champions of Itlay.

Prediction: Tottenham Hotspurs 1-2 Inter Milan

Not a Good Start.

Before the match started Chirpy sat down with the away supporters to cheer with the fans. The fans were excited by it.

Inter started the game off with some chances. Everyone on the field seemed tired playing a very slow paced game. In the 11th minute Modric recived a yellow card. The game stayed at the same pace for abother 6 minutes because Ibrahimovic got away and chipped Gomes in the 17th minute. 17 minutes later in the 34th minute he broke again this time blasting it home pasted Gomes. The fans of SPurs started getting more ebhind there team looking for a goal. But it got bad to worse because in the 45th minute just before the ref blew for half time Zanrtii scored, SPurs went in 3-0 down. Not many people were impressed. Chirpy got up and walked to the dressing room.

Chirpy returns for the supporters joy. The game turned into Tottenham's favour with them creating alot of chances mostly Tevez and Jenas. Then in the 65th minute Inter toke control again but Tottenham seemed to hold string. In the 79th minute Redkanpp toke out Modric and Dos Santos for Huddlestone and Lennon. This put Spurs back into control for 10 minutes but in the 89th minute Ibrahimovic got his hat-trick popping it past Gomes. The ref blew for full time with SPurs fans not happy.

Final Score: Tottenham Hotspurs 0-4 Inter Milan.

Harry Redknapp today revealed he is in the market for a new keeper.

"I want a new Keeper I wasn't impressed with Gomes against Inter. I will not tell who I'm in the market for but I hope to have him before the match against AC Milan in 5 days.

It is also rumored they have signed a new goalkeeping coach.

Harry Redknapp has revealed that there in talks with the famous keeper Peter Schmeichal for him to become there new goalkeeping coach.Tottenham are saying they have agreed everything he just wants one thing for his son Kasper to be signed by Tottenham before he joins as the new GK coach. And just so everyone knows he would take his job up stright away since he is in Itlay.

Harry Redknapp annouced he has signed a new keeper. Rene Adler. His former club is Bayer Leverkusen he was voted best keeper in the league for 2008. He is also German'y 3rd choice keeper. He had this to say.

"I'm excited about my move to Tottenham I little bit shocked but excited. I've been told I'll wear the number 1 and be making my debut against AC Milan and if everything goes well from there I'll be first choice keeper."

Tottenham will pay $15 million for him and he will get payed $34,500 a match. It is also rumored that Kasper Schmeichal is close to joining Tottenham.

Redknapp today annouced his 3rd signing in a matter of days. Kasper Schmeichal coming to White Hart Lane for a fee of $570,000 and getting payed $11,550 a match for 4 years. WIth this news Tottenham can also annouce a new Goalkeeper coach the great Peter Schmeichal who will bring alot of skill to the keepers. Both Schmeichal's will be sitting in the stands next to Chirpy when SPurs take on AC Milan tomorrow.
