Week 5 ![]() Reserve Firepower Barnet | 2 - 3 | Exeter City F.C. Today the reserves showed there two front stricker firepower at goals. The reserves came into this match exhausted but the team must fight on for another 2 matches before the next cup tie where it is expected that the first team will return. The first half proved very tough on the boys but the young gunner logan managed to find a break and even with worn down legs the defenders couldnt catch him. Logan sloted it to the side post and in which fired up Birchall to get a second past on his next oportunity. Barnet seemed to dominate most of the chances but were not good enough to break Alan until a tricky chip shot was placed over Alan to be deflected onto the crossbar and rebounded in by Shepard. Twenty minutes later Acurang broke on a dangerous flank run which Exeter City defenders had no energy to catch and he chipped another over the keepers head which slided over the line. Logan aggitated that the score had leveled up once more fired a spectacular power kick inside the box under pressure. TV Broadcast ![]() Goals to be recorded in future match reports I want viewers who miss away matches to be able to watch the highlights in the match reports each week", replied Paul Tisdale who had a proposed signing pending at the beginning of the season by the board of directors to F.A. Officials. The request was denied but now accepted after recent results. The F.A. Officials have rescheduled the Championship broadcast intermission which usually features 20 mins worth of League 1 and 2 news and events. The new intermission will simply highlight the goals of both leagues with every match. Paul was interviewed this afternoon and was heard by our reporter saying, "This was one step that the officials addressed and got right. The match reports will now be more interesting with the goals finally being watched. Fans will definately be excited to not miss out on tickets to see the game because they will be able to watch from their couch. |

Week 6 ![]() Where's the action? Exeter City F.C. | 2 - 0 | AFC Bournemouth First match broadcast didnt leave disappointments as Exeter City showed off another double goal win. A quite night really if you compare it to recent performance but there were plenty of goals to record the first season footage for the home side. Basham this week wanted to show off to the cameras quickly and it took him 10 mins to be received a pass that would out position the goalkeeper and stoke him. The entire game was very close and the defence was so tight on both sides that infact it was a stalemate for once in shots. Finally in the 90th minute McAllister let loose a showstopper across goal from an awkward position. Statistics Exeter City F.C. | 2 - 0 | AFC Bournemouth 7 | Shots | 7 5 | Shots On Target | 3 50% | Possession | 50% 18 | Tackles | 9 1 | Fouls |0 0 0 | Yellows | 0 0 | Reds | 0 70% | Shot Accuracy | 42% 66% | Passing | 84% Goals

How do you feel? Matt: Great I thought my performance was acceptable today and Im just glad that I got Man of the Match. Interviewer: Your a defender but does that stop you from scoring goals? Matt: Well I focus on my tackling and passing and if I set up a neat play and it scores then I consider that as an assist. However Im sure I could score if I wanted to push forward in next weeks match. Interviewer: Well that would be amazing, Glad to hear from you matt! |
