Nice updates, I don't know if he would be releastic for Newcastle but since Carlos Tevez dosn't play first team anymore you might be able to sign him.

Press Conference - Craig's Return
http://timesonline.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/2007/12/18/capello.jpg Craig Bellamy returns to Newcastle Newcastle United have sealed the deal for the Wales international striker, Craig Bellamy. West Ham and confirmed the final fee for the 29 year old striker which could rise to 9.2 million pounds. Craig Bellamy will be the first signing of the transfer window for Newcastle and for Ketsbaia. Craig and Ketsbaia enters the press conference room filled with interviewers wondering why would Bellamy return to Tyne-side? Interviewer: Craig, there are a lot of mixed reactions for your return to Newcastle, and a lot of them are against this transfer, what reception do you think you will receive when you step in St. James Park? Bellamy: It doesn't matter what reception I receive from the fans, because my job is to score goals here, and that is what I am aiming at. Interviewer: We, the fans don't understand why you will return to Newcastle, we believed that you didn't like it here. Bellamy: It was the gaffer who made me join this club, he gave me all the reasons why I should return, if it wasn't for him, I will still be at Upton Park. Interviewer:Ketsbaia, why did you decide to sign Bellamy? Ketsbaia: He is fast, good finisher, reads the game well, and especially he can just come out of nowhere and score a goal, and that is what Newcastle lacks, a player like Bellamy. That is why when he left, Newcastle didn't do as well as they could. Interviewer:Ketsbaia, unlucky loss against lalalaoln but do you think with Bellamy, you can beat Bayer Leversuken? Ketsbaia: Definitely, he is a great player who can help us score goals, and if we do score goals, we definitely have a chance to win, and speaking about the next game, I will have to fly back to Germany with Craig to meet up with our boys now for the upcoming game. Interviewer: Thanks for your time Ketsbaia: No problem http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/38204000/jpg/_38204911_bellamy300.jpg Newcastle fans will be able to see Bellamy in action against Bayer Leversuken.

Joey Learnt Mistakes?
![]() In the eyes of most football fans, Barton's list of criminal offences far outweighs whatever he has accomplished as a professional sportsman. The one-time England international has fought with a teenage Evertonian and stubbed a cigar in a youth player's eye, and he was jailed earlier this year after being found guilty of engaging in assault and affray outside a McDonald's on Merseyside last December. But perhaps his greatest claim to infamy is the brutal beating he dealt out to Ousmane Dabo, his former Manchester City team-mate, during a training session in April 2007. The Frenchman was later hospitalised with a fractured eye socket and a detached retina. And yet Newcastle have held onto Barton, despite the fact he has spent more time behind bars than in the Newcastle kit since joining the club last year. Barton made no excuses for his past actions and accepted full responsibility for his crimes. But he stressed that he is focused on becoming a better person and resurrecting his once-promising career. Barton said "I'm not asking for anyone to feel sorry for me. If anything, I deserve every bit of criticism levelled at me," the 26 year old said. "I can't stand here and try to defend myself because I'm indefensible. And I'm the first to acknowledge that. I am indefensible. But I'm a human being. I have made mistakes, probably a lot more than others, but people are quick to condemn me. "If you don't make mistakes you don't give them the chance to start throwing stones. All I would say is that I have hopefully learned from my mistakes and I'm trying to put things right and get my football career and my life back on track." Many would disagree with that view, but Barton has taken encouragement from the success stories of comparable characters in other sports. Barton continued "I was watching the boxing the other night and saw Bernard Hopkins who was in jail for four years and he managed to turn his life around. I just have to try to take inspiration from that," he said. "I'm not the first person to mess up, and I've messed up on more than one occasion, but nothing sobers you up like the reality of going to prison. That's it. I know it's the last-chance saloon. I'm just thankful I've got that opportunity. "Now it's time for me to keep my head down and let my football do my talking." Furthermore, Barton audaciously proposed that he could become a role model to football fans who have no common ground with the sport's golden boys. "Some young kids look at the likes of Michael Owen, David Beckham, who are unbelievable professionals but who are squeaky clean, and they can't relate to them," he said. "I've met people on the street and I've met people in prison and they relate to me. When I speak I do so from experience about the things I've done wrong and how I've tried to change. I think they respect that. "Hopefully, I will be able to reach those people who have been unreachable. That's all I can do." Newcastle United Manager Speaks We also managed to meet up with Ketsbaia and interviewed him about Barton Newcastle United manager, Ketsbaia, believes that Joey Barton can redeem himself from all the trouble he had created and said "Barton is a good player, he would be in the England squad with the likes of Gerrard and Lampard but it was what he did outside the pitch which had dragged his career backwards"

Barton and Smith 100% Staying
![]() Joey Barton and Alan Smith staying at Newcastle Newcastle United manager have once again been interviewed by the press today and he confirmed that both Joey Barton and Alan Smith will be staying at Newcastle United. He said "Joey is a fantastic player, he is a player who can change the game completely" "What he did outside the pitch affected his reputation but I am sure he is not a long way from gaining respect from fans around the world" "What he said to the press recently proved that he is looking to change himself, he has matured and now committed to Newcastle United which is a great thing, because I am sure he is in the league which Gerrard and Lampard is in, if the fans give him time and believe in him, he will be representing England" Newcastle United manager believes that not only he can gain respect from the fans but can also make it into the England team. He also gave a brief speak about the goal-shy Alan Smith. He said "Alan Smith just need a little bit of confidence until the goals start coming from him, he is a great striker and everyone knows that, but he was used in different positions almost every game which really affects him" "I see Alan as a striker, a very good striker. I am not going to sell him because I know I will regret once he start scoring for another club. He will be a deadly asset for us once he scores his first goal" It seems like Newcastle United boss - Ketsbaia, have a lot of faith in both of those players and hopefully it turns out how Ketsbaia wants it to be.
