Doing alright but i am thinking about trying out Dos Santos with Bent as Bent is alot faster than Pavly, See it that works out. I got Port Vale so i am using some other young players.

Campbell could end up being on the bench for the game too but we'll see.

Tottenham 3-2 Port Vale

Saviour in the CC.

Match Report:

Lucky, Lucky spurs win in a match which at the begining was so exspectant to win they just got the win in extra time. It was a good start for tottenham with 2 early goals from Bent and Di Maria's first goal for the club was taken well with a deserved first half lead.

In the 2nd half it wasn't to be spurs half when Port Vale soon got a early pen and it was capatilised by Rodgers which was assisted stupidly by Dawson who had come in to replace king at the back. About 15mins later it wasn't to be and the Port Vale fans were celebrating like mad when Richards soon equalised for a mistake from dawson at the back to let him free and just to place the ball past Gomes infront of the travelling supporters. This was not the night to remember for dawsons first full game of the season.

Into the extra time and it was always going to be spurs in the end snatching the victory, With a late winner in stoppage time in the 2nd half of the extra time. Was about to go to penalties until campbell played a brilliant ball through the defence and bent's pace once again, like he shown all this season gets the better of the defenders to slot the ball home to win it for spurs and send them into the next round!

Match rating – 7/10.

Aston Villa 4-3 Tottenham

Match Report:

Spurs loose there 2nd game of the season and the moral and the defensive errors didn't help but the strong villa side had a little too much pace in attack for the defence to cope with.

It was very entertaining, for villa that is. The result showed that tottenham was so close to winning but goals from Young, Petrov, Agbonlahor & Carew sealed the win with the last goal coming in the 82nd min for villa through Carews header from a corner.

Spurs goals came from Di Maria, Lennon & Bent but that was not enough to clinch the win and with the last 10 mins of the game with spurs piling on the pressure the strike force they had was not going to create another goal and to save a point for them wasnt going to happen either.

Match rating – 5/10.

Going to defo.

Think i am going to play bentley instead of lennon as bentley when he has come on in the past for me he just rips the defences apart more than lennon does.

Gomes Out Injured!

One of the best shot stoppers in the world.

It's been reported that the first injury of the season has come at the wrong time and maybe in the wrong position. The brazilian keeper, Gomes who signed from P.S.V last signing has just been diagnosed with a broken finger and brused wrist which he got in the warm up game wednesday morning in a training match. Scans show it's not worse than expected but he will be out for the next 3/4 games.

We wish Gomes back to full recovery.

Team Line Up

------- Cesar -----
--- Corluka ---- King ---- Woodgate ---- Bale ---
--- Bentley ----- Modric ------ Obi Mikel ------ Di Maria ---
----- Bent ---- Pavlychenko ----

Subs
Dawson
Hutton
Ekotto
Huddlestone
Gilberto
Lennon
Dos Santos

Tottenham 3-2 Sunderland

Match Report:

Another win but it was narrow at the same time it was deserved.

Replacement keeper Cesar had a brilliant start to his debut but it come to an end when 2 fabulous goals from Cisse, both outside of the box got passed him. The first was 14mins into the game and the 2nd in the 40th min just a few mins after Bent equalized. Both where nice shots around 25 yards each and this send sunderland into the break 2-1 up.

In the second half, Like most of this season it has changed for spurs and bentley with the assist from the wing whipping in a ball which was connected by pavlychenko with a bullet header into the middle, top of the goal. Into the last 15mins we went with the scores at 2-2 but wit sunderland having a few chances on goal with Cisse, Duiof having shots on target but saved by cesar it was now time for spurs to have another attack and on the 78th min they was another goal and it was worked only by one man, Darren bent. Running with the ball from the half way line skipping past 2 players then pulling the ball back, making a turn on the edge of the area to shoot hard and low past Gordon, With the post helping the ball on the way there it sent all of the sides and 3 corners of white hart lane into celebration as they claim this would be the winning goal and keeping spurs on top of the league for another week.

Match rating – 7/10.

Tbh.. I might do. Don't think i'd be able to do it for league games as i don't want to put too much detail into everything as i am always eager to play another game then another.

So addictive when you get into it.
