Decent start
I think for your Hull MM you need to put in some more info about the club, stadium, squad, pictures and any other general info.
Well done though mate

Hicks and Gillet start search for a new manager

Breaking news just in, after the departure of Rafael Benitez only a few days ago the owners of Liverpool FC are looking for replacement manager and assistant. A spokesman for Tom Hicks said "Tom and George are looking for somebody who has experience as a manager, but also somebody who can bring an assistant with him. They would like to ask if anybody is out there and we will post something in the local paper." Rick Parry told us he believes a caretaker manager needs to be brought in soon to help the players.

New Boss Unveild at Liverpool

Former Leyton Orient & Celtic boss Elliott Walsh has just recently taken over the Mersyside club. The boss never made it into the professional game only with a small spell with Halifax Town.Despite this short experience he has done well at the clubs, so because of this he has been told that he must win the FA cup, Qualify for the ECL and buy a Right Winger. We are also told he will announce his assistant and who they will play in a press conference later today. In the mean time we will all have to wait.

The game is awesome BTW

Press Conference with Walsh

SSN: So then Elliott we hear you have got to win the FA cup. DO you think you have the experience and skill?
EW: Certainly. And I am sure the is why I have been brought in as the owners belive that too
SSN: That is good to hear. We have also heard you have been asked to sign a Right Winger. Can you confirm this. And can you tell us who yoou have in mind?
EW: I certainly can. I have been asked to sign I Right Winger and I have four targets. Firstly I have 3 premier league players who can turn the game on it's head. Plus though would all cause trouble on the opposite side to Ryan Babel. I also have in mind one payer from abroad who I belive is a natrual anywhere in midfield
SSN: Do you have anybody else you wish to sign?
EW: Yes I will admit we are triying to sign free agent Benjani and LB Gareth Bale from spurs. I have seen them in action as a manager and on Match Of the Day and they have impressed me
SSN: Anybody you are selling?
EW: Andrea Dossena, Andrei Voronin and then alot of youths on loan
SSN: Who are your friendlies against?
EW: Well We have FC Cologne away tomorrow, Aldershot away next week and Rochdale away in 2 weeks. We did want to play Leyton Orient but they declined
SSN: And who is your assistant?
EW: Well I have gone with two lads I trust. Sam Allerdyce who I know has trained with them team. And Phil Thompson who has played for the club and has been in the job for the club before
SSN: Thanks for your time
EW: No problem

Will help with their experience of the club and of managerial experience

We will see you later for a review of Liverpool Vs Colonge (Won't be my best)

And finally a goodbye to Tlalalala on SSN

Vs

Line up:

---------------------Reina---------------------
--Arbeloa-----Carragher-----Skrtel----Dossena--
-------------------Mascherano-----------------
-----Kuyt--------Gerrard---------------Reira----
-----------------Keane----Torres---------------

Match - Pre-season friendly

Liverpool got off to the quicker start against Cologne when Gerrard made a great interception and was clear on goal when Geromel put in a goal saving tackle. Riera kept up the pressure but couldn't do anything with a cross. The game then became a midfield battle and when ever Riera got the ball it was put into the box and straight to the keeper. However on 15 minutes He took a throw-in from the eft hand side and Keane played it back.He then put in a great low cross and Torres knocked the ball forward and made a great finish in the bottom corner with his left foot

Liverpool then had a choice. Sit back and rest on 1-0 or keep up the pressure. However they were all over the place and an Arbeola pass went astray and fell into the path of Novakovic who had his shot saved by Pepe Reina. Cologne were unlucky when Reina hit a kick straight at Novakovic who missed from 1 yard after trying to reach it with his right foot it hit is left and went out of play. The rest of the half was pretty boring with only the odd freekick which was blazed over the bar.

Half time and the teams are 1-0 to the away team with a Fernando Torres goal after 16 mins the only goal in the game. The only other positive for Liverpool is the way Robbie Keane and Riera are working. Kuyt has played very poor, giving the ball away whenever he had it, and will be replaced by Yossi Benayoun in the 2nd half

The first bit of action in the 2nd half was a corner whipped in by Steven Gerrard and missed by Robbie Keane and it was cleared after missing the whole lot of them. On 60mins Liverpool brought on Ryan Babel to try and liven up the game. And that he did. Dossena played him a through bal and he was away. Torres just could get any power on his header. Novackovic was at the other end and he picked up a pass when most people thought he was offside, yet he was level, but scuffed his shot miles wide in the best chance of the game. Gerrard then made it 2-0 on 74 mins when he ran onto a through ball from Torres and scored from 18 yards as he drove it past the keeper into the right hand side of the goal.

It was almost 3-0 from the kick-off as Torres ran onto the pass from the kick-off back to the midfield and he took it away from the defence but just hit it wide to the left of the goal. Cologne did eventually get a goal through a great save form Reina which hepunched onto the bar but the Skrtel headed it into the net. 2-1 and COlogne really were up for it.And it was 2-2 on 90 when Sanou hit the ball above Reina. Only 2 mins were left. And then Sanou hit the side netting from 6 yards.

2-2 was the final score and Liverpool will feel robbed. Skrtel will be kicking himself and the right hand side needs somebody to play there without making a mess. Liverpool may also be after a new Right back after that game too. We will find out the opinions of both Managers in the Press conferences in 30 mins

3 New players have joined Anfield

"Theo is a great lad. Only 19 yet he has been to a world cup. He is going to be the turning point of the season for us after seeing how bad our Right hand side was against Cologne. If we are to win anything this season our wingers are going to have to perform."

Theo Walcott - RWM - 19 - £5million - Number 32

"When I saw Benjani on the Market as a free agent I just had to get him. We are short of available strikers and Benjani fits exactly what we need. A support player if he plays with Torres or a Pacey player if he plays with Keane or Kuyt. He is among to other strikers (Both from league two) who could be moving to anfield. If Benjani perofrms well we will have the FA cup in our trophy cabinate for certain."

"Gareth is a very young player and he is a mangers dream. Can play LB/LM and has bags of pace to back up Babel or Riera. He is also reliable for set-pieces. Having first seen him in a friendly last seaosn he scored a great goal from a run from LB and hit the bar from some freekicks. All he needs is a few games"

Reaction From Elliott Walsh's first game in charge

As most will admit it was a very good, yet unlucky, start to his campaign. A great Fernando Torres goal and later on Gerrard stunner must have had all fans in dream world. But then a Skrtel own-goal gave one away then a 6 yard strike for Sanou gave away another and made it 2-2. We now go live to a press conference with Elliott

SSN: Lets start with the positives. What do you think went well?
EW: The Keane and Riera Partneship was very good but also the link between Gerrard and Torres. Most of the team played well to be honest.
SSN: And what do you think was bad about the game?
EW: Well Headers at the back and the right hand side which we both appauling. I am glad theo has joined because we can actualy use it now. We are certainly going to practise headers in the week.
SSN: Because you have Aldershot next are you going to rest anybody?
EW: Well I am going to play all of the new players and the youngsters so yes.
SSN: Who are these strikers you want from League 2?
EW: That will be revealed later
SSN: Oh Ok. Thanks for your time.

SO there we have it. 2 strikers from league who we don't know. Not a full team vs Aldershot in a week. Well see you later

(Game will be on friday so get posting)

All good signings there. You should do well now and imo you need no-one else.
