Breno To move to Anfield?

19 year old Breno Borges could be on the move to anfield. The youngster who plays for Bayern Munich could be moving to Liverpool FC for £6.5 million. The player is a fan favorite at Munich and was at former club Sao Paulo where he earned a reputation for scoring goals and being a very good centre back. It is believed it is to replace Sami Hyypia who is retiering at the end of the season

Walsh Gives Line-up for Game vs Aldershot

(Bale is LB)

"I am making a huge change playing all the youths and new players. Pessis seems a good CB so there he is. I believe El Zhar has much to offer. This will probaby be my Carling cup team too"

Liverpool Vs Aldershot

A fiery start to the game for both teams as Aldershot got an early freekick from a nothing tackle by Agger. Thankfully for the reds he blaized over. The almost straight away at the other end Lucas volleyed a cross from Babel onto the bar. Benjani had a great chance after latching onto a Lucas pass but he hit it fractionaly to close to the keeper who pushed it out for a corner.

Eventually on 17 minutes Liverpool broke the deadlock from a quick, short Benjani corner which fell to Walcott who ran into the area and had a shot blocked by Harding but then Degen Lobbed defender and Keeper to make it 1-0

Then on 31 minutes Benjani thread in Nabil El Zhar who calmly smashed his shot past Bull to make it 2-0

The Half ended with some good saves from both keepers. Notably an 80 yard run from Walcott which Bull got a glove on. 2-0 anyway and the better team has the lead and for once the score does reflect the play. Aldershot just don't look good enough when it comes to being tackled. Maybe since they have had conference football for years.

The second half started with John Grant missing the target a few times but Aldershot seem to have had a good team talk. Tlalalala seems very angry at his players. Because of an error from Babel Grant was through again but put it wide again. Bable was then moved up front and El Zhar was replaced by Riera on the left wing

ON 71 minutes Riera got the bal and ran upfield. He then took a shot from the edge of the 18 yard box which went through the keepers legs and in for the 3rd. The score 3-0

The Final score here is 3-0 to Liverpool who certainly deserve the win. Both teams did pressurise but the reds put the goals in.

My review is tomorrow evening and so is game vs Rochdale

Oh yeah. Sorry it is a loan. BTW anybody wants to know I am on pro diff on the PS2

Good to hear he is a good signing. Gets to 92 I think. I was just searching for CB's skill 75-85 and then went on age. He may be only 75 as a rating now but you just wait

Press Conference with Walsh and Allerdyce

Nabil El Zhar celebrates the 2nd goal

SSN: Congratulations. A great game and a well deserved 3-0 win for the pair of you. How did you find the game?
EW: Thanks. I have to say my youngsters shocked me. I would just like to say well done Nabil, Benji and Riera on the goals. They were top quality. Sure we got lucky with the 3rd but that is part of the game. Thanks to Aldershot who gave us a great game and they got very, very unlucky.
SA: Yes I would just like to echo Elliott and say congratulations to everybody and the coaching staff for playing the game well. Bring on Rochdale and wait for us to really fire.
SSN: Ok so all these or for Elliott.
EW: Ok
SSN: Right then what do you think of Breno?
EW: Well Breno is a young 19 year old lad who I have to say is amazing. His goal record and his defensive record speak for themselves. He can shoot from range and he scores headers and so is very good in his own area.
SSN: What will your formation be for Rochdale? Which as you know will be played in about an hour and a half.
EW: Well I will be playing my first team. That is all I am revealing
SSN: Any plans to sign new players?
EW: Maybe a CM but nothing else
SSN: Thanks and Good Bye

Vs
Prediction 4-0 Liverpool

Fernando Torres in Training

Walsh: "Today we certainly need to prove ourselves to the league. We didn't play well against Cologne and Aldershot we got some luck with Jon Grant. Now we just need to up our game. Walcott will certainly troubke them but I know they prefer a 5 man midfield so we might try and emulate that with Keane sitting out but Alonso and Mascherano in. We should get more goals due to the fact we won't be outnumbered. I give good luck to Rochdale."

Hill: "All we have to do tonight is put on a show for our fans and prove we can compete with the best. I will confirm we are going with a 5 man midfield and I hope that we can outnumber Liverpool's 4 man midfield. We do have national players and one of them is English man Jon Shaw who played for England C last season. I am going to rest him. I don't have a clue what they are doing but I wish them the best of luck for the season."

Vs

Formation:
----------------Reina-------------------
-----Arbeloa--Carragher--Skrtel--Bale----
-----Mascherano--Gerrard--Alonso-------
---Walcott----------------------Riera-----
-----------------Torres---------------------

The rochdale fans when the team came out

Liverpool made an ideal start. Plenty of attacking possesion made the keeper make some marvelous saves. However on 23 minutes Riera made a pass to Alonso with Bale running wide. Then with Alonso's vision he played a magnificent pass for Bale who had his shot stopped but was then fould by the keeper when Attempting the Rebound. PENALTY! Bale stepped up to take it and placed it in the top Right sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0 to the reds.

The game then setted for a few minutes until a Theo Walcott cross was knocked back by Torres and Then Alonso Hammered is shot into the ground and just past the keeper. On 42 minutes Torres got his head right onto an Arbeloa cross and he got a great contact. 2-0

2-0 at Half-Time and Rochdale just arn't in it at all. Post your views as the second half will start in 15mins

The 2nd Half

With Liverpool leading 2-0 over rochdale surely they couldn't lose. Anyway here is the 2nd half

Rochdale were the team who came out firing in the 2nd half but couldn't turn pressure into goals and Reina showed that he is on top form. Liverpool finally got the ball though. They were unlucky not to score too when Gerrard was on the ball. He took a shot that hit the wait of the defender yet a freekick was given for hands. Gerrard smashed home the freekick from 25 yards. 3-0

A game which then turned right into a midfield batte gave rochdale some chances. The had a fantastic oppertunity from a freekick but it was blazed over. Liverpool almost made it 4 when Alonso had a shot tap away by the Keeper who has done a good job.

Rochdale finished the game with no goals but they were given all the possesion towards the end as Liverpool backed off. They will be pleased with that 3-0 result and can take it into the Premier league opener with Chelsea
