NEW SIGNING!

Today Manchester United unveiled their new 25 year-old signing.

But he wasn't a player.

Manchester United today confrimed that 25-year-old australian wonder coach David Tubb has joined the club on a 1 year trial as manager. The move has caused outrage within Manchester United fans: "How can a Manager who is younger than most of our players, win us competitions".

Tubb started as a promising midfielder for Australia, at 17-years he was the captain of the Olyroos, the Australian Olympic football team. However he broke his knee cap and severed his knee ligiments, in a tackle from an Iraq player in 2001, that saw the Iraq player who can not be named for security reasons banned from the game from life.

Tubb then took up coaching with the Queensland Roar, and in the first three seasons of the Australian A-League, he won every year. He only originally signed a 3-year deal, so this season he was looking to break into Europe. Tubb is reoportdly 'over the moon' with his new job and wants to make a positive impact.

Breaking News: Tubb Press Conference announced for tommorow (10th June)

Will be interesting. Good work on the article, just enough detail and the presentation works well as usual.

DAVID TUBB INTERVIEW

Welcome, David Tubb to Manchester, are you excited to be here?
Yes, Manchester United are the greatest football club in the world, no doubt about that, and I am managing them, it's unbelievable.

Some of the fans can't believe it either, do you think their critism of your hiring is valid?
Yes, I am only 25, I was only 4 when Fergie was hired, many of the fans have only has one manager and that was Fergie, I can understand if they are dissapointed because he is leaving but we are just starting a new chapter in the Manchester United novel.

Speaking of that, do you plan to make a move on the transfer market in the next 10 weeks?
Yes, I want to bring in some more exciting talent, the EPL has changed over the past few years, clubs are now lookign for creative players, and that is what i am looking for. Also I want to bring in lots of good young players, i want to build a club that will be successful for a long time.

Do you plan to keep most of you staff the same?
I will keep most of the training staff because they will help me settle in with the players. But I plan on hiring some new scouts.

What about Old Trafford, any redevelopments planned?
No, I love Old Trafford how it is at the moment, and it would cost a lot of money if we were to upgrade. We don't really need to upgrade anyway, we have the only UEFA 5 star stadium in the whole of the UK.

Thanks David, I am sure you have things to do, but just one last question, Do you think that you can win a trophy this season?
Yes, we have the players, the staff and the facilities. I am sure that you were reffereing to my age, well as far as I am concerned I will prove to those who don't believe in me, to believe in me.

The Great Robbie My Future thread is a dud until proven otherwise. Viewers may not even like what I'm going to do, it's all based on what I want
