Changes to Tournament Team

My sons friend borrowed his Fifa 09 card and when it was returned and my son put it in his DSi the Tournament team that comes up first is not the team that used to come up before my son's friend changed it (hope this makes sense!). Does anybody know how to change the team back or is there a way of doing this or do you just have to play your way throught the tournament? Group A comes up first. The team my son actually wants to play as is way down in Group F. Does he just have to work his way through the Groups? Hope somebody can help us.
