Default kicked out middle of the game / PSP connection problem

Ok guys. I know maybe the topic was covered here before but I couldn't find it as I went through the whole fifa 09 forum. Here is the problem I am having. Usually in middle of the game I get this error message "A network error has occurred. Cannot connect to opponent" I know it's on my side because there is different message for times when the other player has problem. I know it's probably a port forwarding problem. I cannot figure out what is wrong. I just don't know how to set up ports recommended by EA in the fifa 09 booklet. It's not a simple issue I am having. I know my psp switch is on. Everything work except the fact I keep getting kicked out in middle of the game or sometimes while the game itself is loading after teams and jerseys are chosen. I will really appreciate it if anyone could give me step by step instruction.

Hi Novemberrain81,

I have experienced the same issue many times. This occurs also at the beginning, middle or end of games. I believe it is also dependent on your opponents connection as I have managed to play a number of games with no issues. Do you have the same issue with all games?

Davida.

Hi David. Thanks for your response. I don't think it's my opponent. Because when the opponent is disconnected it says "unable to connect to opponent...." But when it's on my side it says "a network connection error has occured. Cannot connect to opponent" Two different messages and I get them both but most of the time I get the error message which indicate problem is on my side.If you look on the fifa booklet on page 12 it asks to open port 3658. I believe that will solve the problem. But I am not sure how to do that. I think that will solve a lot of people lot of frustration including mine. If you figure it out please let me know. And unfortunately this the only game I have for psp. Like you said this problem occur anytime during the game...beginning, middle or end...and sometimes during loading process. BTW I have a Motorola sbg 900 router.
