2010 FIFA World Cup Video Game Ideas

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A FIFA 2010 WISHLIST. THIS IS A WISHLIST FOR 2010 FIFA WORLD CUP: THE VIDEO GAME.

I know there is another thread, but I guess I will start anyways.

FEATURES
-There should be a "Be A Pro" mode for 2010 FIFA World Cup. For example: We should control a Team Squad player or create our own player for the World Cup.
-Let us call up some player from a country, such as youth players and "B" players.
-Give each country a few stadiums. For Example: I am Playing as Mexico and have a qualifier against the US at home ground. But I want to play in Guadalajara, not Mexico City, so I simply select my venue.
-Realistic injuries, like more random injuries and realistically. Such as a player that is injured must get treatment or get carried off in a stretcher.
-Regional and Seasonal weather. For example, a qualifier in Madrid in the Spring or Summer must be sunny and humid, or a Qualifier in Cape Town during winter should be rainy or cloudy.
-Random events, such as hooligans in the stadium. Even fans throwing stuff at players or fights in the stands. Like you don't expect Mexican fans when losing to USA at Azteca not to be rioting, right? So it would be cool feature to make the game real.
-Fans rioting. It's the same like above except post-game. For example: Switzerland and Israel are playing a qualifying game, both with 17 points in the group. Greece has already qualified with the rest of the teams fail excepting Switzerland and Israel. However wins qualifies, and one teams loses. The loser team's fans should riot in major city of the country. We don't have to watch riot police fighting fans, but at least a newspaper covering the story.

Don't make Pakistan as strong as Greece this time.

No offense to any Pakistan National Team fans, but man...it kind of hurts when Iran can't beat Pakistani in FIFA World Cup 06...

Have atleast almost or every country that entered the qualification to be in the game. 2006 was good because they had the different stages to first qualify for the world cup but in 2010 they should have every stage not only 1 stage. For example, the north american region had only two stages in order to qualify when it was really four stages with atleast 20 more teams.

1) THE FOLLOWING TEAMS THAT WERE NOT FEATURED IN THE 2006 FIFA WORLD CUP: GERMANY GAME SHOULD BE ADDED INTO THE GAME AND THE TEAMS ARE: CAMBODIA, BRUNEI, TIMOR-LESTE, INDONESIA, LAOS, MALAYSIA, PHILIPPINES, SINGAPORE, THAILAND, VIETNAM, CHINESE TAIPEI (TAIWAN), JORDAN, OMAN, LEBANON, SYRIA, SRI LANKA, ETHIOPIA, SOMALIA, LIBERIA, CAPE VERDE, GUINEA, MAURITIUS, TAHITI, NEW ZEALAND, FIJI, PAPUA NEW GUINEA, SAMOA, PUERTO RICO, GUADELOUPE, HAITI, CUBA, SAINT LUCIA, GRENADA, MONTENEGRO, SERBIA, AND IF YOU ADD AND FEATURE ALL THOSE TEAMS INTO THE GAME, IT WOULD GREATLY BE APPRECIATED BY ALL WHO BUY THE GAME, TRUST ME!!!!!!

2) INCLUDE MANAGER MODE where you get to be the manager of any national team of your choice

3) YOU ALSO GET TO SEE HOW OTHER TEAMS ARE DOING IN YOUR WORLD CUP QUALIFYING GROUP BY LOOKING AT RESULTS AND OR WATCHING THEIR GAMES KNOWING YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WOULD HAVE TO DO TO WIN YOUR GROUP

4) INCLUDE MORE STAGES IN FIFA WORLD CUP QUALIFYING so it makes it more competitive

5) CHANGE YOUR NATIONAL TEAM JERSEY KIT BY INCORPORATING A 3RD OR 4TH JERSEY, AND YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR KIT AROUND FOR EACH GAME

6) ONCE YOU QUALIFY FOR THE WC, YOU GET TO DO AN ONLINE DRAW TO SEE WHICH TEAMS WILL END UP BEING IN YOUR GROUP FOR THE GROUP STAGE OF THE TOURNAMENT

7) ARRANGE FRIENDLY MATCHES AGAINST ANY NATIONAL TEAM OF YOUR CHOICE

8) UPDATE YOUR NATIONAL TEAM ROSTER BY CALLING UP PLAYERS FROM ANY LEAGUE IN THE WORLD UP TO YOUR NATIONAL TEAM, AND TAKING OFF PLAYERS THAT YOU FEEL SHOULD BE ON THE BENCH

9) HAVE YOUR NATIONAL TEAM PLAY CONTINENTAL TOURNAMENTS LIKE EURO, GOLD CUP, COPA AMERICA, OFC NATIONS CUP, ASIAN CUP, AND OR CAF AFRICAN CUP OF NATIONS BEFORE QUALIFYING FOR THE WC

10) HAVE A QUICK SIM OR VISUAL SIM IF YOU DO NOT FEEL LIKE PLAYING A GAME AGAINST A PARTICULAR OPPONENT

1) Have all 200 countries (i counted them) that entered the qualification to be in the game and the nations that not partecipated. Real qualifying stages. For the players names i don't think that there is a big problem: on the fifa world cup site there is a database whit names of players of all nation that played ( exampleFIFA.com )
and why if in fifa 09 there are more than 200 teams they couldn't be in the world cup game

2) national teams can play continental tournaments to qualify to the confederations cup (italy and south africa automaticaly qualified)

3)real stadiums for most important national teams

4)continental real weather

5) there mustn't be unofficial teams like neederland in fifa 09!!!!!!

fifa 06 rocked soccer world.

one problem i have is that el salvador is not in 2009 or in other games.
they're just in world cups.
lalala is up with that.
my friend got offended, drove off and the car drifted off a bridge and died.
poor guy.
just put el salvador and other teams lik that.
and uruguay should be more important in matches lik qualifiers, lik in real lifee.

trust me.
3 out of 20 salvadorians who played fifa09 & didnt c el salvador there tried to suicide themselves, usually hanged.
but just put el salvador and other teams.
they give mexio a challenge.

World Cup 2010 should definitely have all the nations that competed. All 200 or so. That would make the game much better. Also, more realistic qualifying rounds. These additions would greatly improve this already awesome game.

Ideas for Fifa World Cup 2010 videogame
- Faces for all players of all countries participating in the 2010 World Cup.
- Real stadiums for all national teams participating in world cup.
- Continenetal real weather
- Continental tournaments like Copa America, Euro Cup, Asian Cup, African Cup of Nations, etc.
- All referees involved in the World Cup with real names and faces.
- Real names for all players.
- See the managers celebrating goals like in Euro 2008 game.

Hooligans in the game? Hmmm, I think you might have something here.

I think that this new game for pc should have better crowds THAN THE ONES NOW BECAUSE ALL THAT THE CROWDS DO IN PC IS MOVE BACK AND FORTH when you score a goal. you should either add the 2006 germany crowd for pc or make a better one that looks like the xbox crowd. Also the dribbling from germany 2006 pc was perfect but you changed it to this new one which looks more computerized. You should keep the 2006 dribbling idea and add that too. Also all these other suggestions that other people make to the xbox or ps, you should also do to the pc games because it will let your buyers trust you more. And most people that don't have xbox or ps have a computer.

Also the pc should have referee names before the game and also the announcer should say the lineup. Also when a national team wins the world cup, try to change the scene that shows them hold up the cup, add in two or three new scenes. Another change should be when a sub comes in, show the ref hold up the the board with the number of the subs. And also if a player gets injured show the health counselor or the staff of the team pick them up and bring them off. Because the only thing that pc offers is the gameplay and not other scenes of ref faces, coach faces, and crowd graphics.

At least this time, try to copy what you had for germany 2006 PC and add that to the game.




OK today I just checked the fifa10 pc screenshots and the game seems to be like last years fifa 09. It looks like the pc producers aren't making any improvements in the graphics area. Like a said the crowd needed to be improved, you put in the same crowd as fifa 09. Now the game looks exactly the same as fifa 09. You only added in the team colors and nothing else. AS I SAID USE THE 2006 FIFA WORLD CUP GERMANY CROWD INSTED OF THIS CROWD FOR FIFA 10. Also, no realistic features were added to the fifa 10 game PC. YOU ONLY HAVE ONE YEAR LEFT TO MAKE THESE CORRECTIONS, SO AT LEAST TAKE MY ADVICE.

You have to work on how the fans act...for example in the start of the match the fans make pyro shows or coreographies and stuff...can't wait to see the game

When this game comes out, I'm hoping that the general gameplay will be the same as FIFA 10, but with other stuff added in

Most importantly - teams. I want every single national team - if they can fit loads more than 206 teams in normal FIFA games, why not in the World Cup game?

Im sorry but you have to be really stupid to think that FIFA would do anything like having hooligans or riots in the game. Why not ask FIFA to also have fans cursing and shouting racist stuff at players in the game. Be realistic that will never happen and if that is what you think is missing from the previous games, then fifa isnt for you buddy. Hooligans and riots??? XD you are an idiot!!!

we need to see de coach we need to see de subs warm up we need de forth official we need the referee assistants signaling the subs we need to see de players walk off when get red card we need to see de goal keeper control a weak shot an could press a button to pick up de ball we need player mood meter if a certain playing dont pass much the team spirit drops if they not receiving pass when in position the forward get angry at another forward who dont pass much team meter coin toss we need de game real just like we watching soccer we need to see all these real things going on in de game then we need from qualifinals straight to world cup we need to create a whole team who stats could build get money for games to upgrade your team an team stadium we need the real football in this game thanks
