"My controller cant wait for Fifa 10, it has had a hard time being smashed against the floor recently."

This act of aggression reminds me of the early years! When I owned a PS2 I went through over 5 controllers in 6 months.

Since my PS2 I have only broken 2 controllers due to uncontrollable rage. That covers my PS3 and Xbox 360.

When you find yourself loosing your cool, make sure (if you loose it) that your target of rage is a soft one that doesn't cost ££££££ if you brake it. The controller isn't the problem. It's just the nearest thing at hand.

Try gaming with boxing gloves. Its fun, painless and when you truely flip, all that's hurt is your pride!

Fix the Brain Dead Friendly AI
I know the CPU teams are not this dumb and neither is my BAP teammate so stop feeding the cheesers with the brain dead friendly AI that turn their back tp the play. I would also like to play an offline game other that BAP where I am not constantly frustrated by my teammates idiotic AI.

Fix Manual Player Selection Controls
Don't give me a player control slider that I can seemingly turn off only to have my selected player automatically jump to someone else in the game. OFF is OFF - I don't want 93% off. Also, when using the manual selection button give me the guy CLOSEST to the freaking ball. Don't give me the guy half the pitch up field when a guy is trailing him by a foot or two. Also make it so when I press LEFT on the right stick I get the guy immediately to the left of the ball ... not some vaguely to the left or five guys to the left....I want the guy on the immediate left.

I think you hit the nail on the head there. It's very true if EA did exactly what everyone has been suggesting on the forum then we would never buy a football game again as it would be perfect, and EA aren't daft.

Some valid suggestions in the OP, notably the subs one the rest are very minor things i think i can live without.

Normally, EA or Konami will add some features which attract funs most in each game. If EA slows down upgrading the game, the only reason for this would be the fall of PES...

They should add an extra difficulty for Manager Mode because Legendary is too easy after the first season.

1. Edit team formations without saving them.
great idea - this was even in the demo! sometimes you need to play people you dont want to (injuries etc) so you create a formation for them - same if someone goes off - i dont want to have to lose a slot just to compensate for a player missing!

the whole formation thing needs work BADLY - its a poor ripoff from PES, but PES is much quicker to set up, more flexible and can use temp formations. we need a way to setup players so that defensive on say a RW means they sit at RM, CM moves to CDM etc. for 10 years this stuff hasnt changed, we need some clever formation manager. i would also like to see an easy way to transport formations and tactics - so when you go to your mates you can use them there. i still think a great idea would be an online place where you can store them - or a way to transfer them to USB stick etc.

2. - quick subs - great idea that PES has been using for YEARS now. catch up EA

3. - switch player for free kick - wow, like PES again eh? i would also like a way o take quick free kicks and defences shouldnt reset for them! PES is years ahead of EA on so many things eh?

4. - yup - 1/2 the time on free kicks it wont use your designated kicker - slack coding! sort it out EA lalala!

8. - rematch - yup! i seriously dont think EA even play this game, otherwise they would have noticed all these things in playtesting at alpha stage!

12. - weather - this is lalalala in MM (which i mainly play) never rains, snows etc... BORING! and the pitches should look worn etc after rain

23 - yeah i like PES' polygon system - makes seeing a players abilities very quick. its a real ball-ache to really see players stats on teams you dont know!

27. save replays to HD - much better than this lalalala upload thing that doesnt work for many people.... let us save the whole thing then we can edit later - this includes online games!!!!!

33) Radar colors: Are you kidding me?! How this made it out of testing is beyond me. Put one team in white, one team in black/blue/whatever on the radar and BE DONE WITH IT. What good is the radar if the colors are so similar on it that I can't tell which team I am?
seriously - if you want to make the best game ever check out the competition - PES has things like this - i think the PES team actually play their game though! also a way to change the indicator colour for players too - red looks so like black its stupid. its invisible on some pitches or shadows. i always play as player 4 yellow - but thats means i have to swap to update ALS! w t f???

full team practice is a good one - a proper training mode would be great! lets ijmplement things people want rather than charging for **** kidddy trading card games that mess everything up!

setting up your squad you should be able to see not only the position that the player is in but THEIR preferred position - PES does this too <sigh> if i am going to be penalised for putting people in wrong positions at least make it easy to see where they WANT to be!

ability to select who goes up for corners etc - again like PES does. why dont they play PES and impliment all the areas where it is better? im sick of finding my tall forwards not even in the box for corners!

I added two more "problems" to this thread. All I wish is to let the designers know about it and make FIFA a more excellent game.

The idea of saving the whole game to the HD is very interesting, quite often you need to be online and signed it to even upload your goals, i'm not sure we need to save the full game but the ability to save goals and other interesting moments is a great idea.
