Freezing at loading screen AFTER games [PS3]

Hi everyone,

I had a quick look for this bug but sadly I couldn't find it. Hopefully I am not the only one who is experiencing it.

My problem is when I play a game, the loading bar just stops at 18%. Not the music, not the background.

I have tried NOT SIGNING IN and just leaving it that way and I've also replaced the game with a brand new one.

This is extremely annoying because I know that it is not because of poor treatment of the disc.

Does anyone else have this problem? I've heard from someone else that this happens on his XBOX as well and we are both considering just throwing out that game.

I would love to hear some feedback.

Well, no thanks to anyone here, I've solved the problem.

It was caused by a corrupt save file.

So for anyone else who has this problem, you need to delete your saved file.

It sucks.

I love this game but I hardly play it because im afraid that i might end up breaking my control pad in frustraion.
I first noticed that when I tried to start up manager mode that it freezes the backround still moves and sound is still going but info bar stops.
I also noticed that when ever I go to team management from the the starting options half the players in the squad are missin and spaces where names and stats are blank, if you then try to start the game it freezes in arena mode.
someone please help

yeh this is happening alot don't know if EA are going to patch it but i had to delete the whole game to get it to work again, from what i've heard it something to do with the addidas live updates

You're not the only one, it's happened in all 10 MM's that I've started. I've seen no official recognition of this as a problem, so I'll gather as many of the other threads as possible so you can keep bumping them to the top. Hopefully then the problem will be addressed. All I ask is that EA acknowledge that it's a REAL ISSUE!

I refuse to play FIFA until this problem is either fixed or acknowledged!

well, i have another kind of freezing, its only freezing at the loading screen after i played 1 match, it changed positsion of the keeper and the player during freeze, not sure if delete all savegame would fix ???

I found that before u play/sim the game if you save your manager mode to a fresh data file and then carry on as normal it seems to sort itself out. Its worked a couple of times on mine so should work on others.

so have we got any ideas? about this freezing in manager mode its pants in 3rd season built up a quality squad of players cant believe iam going to loose it all someone tell me that is not the case it gets to 64% then stops help me please!!!!

try loading the game.
Saving it again as a new file (Save As equivalent).
go back, delete the previous file.
then load the new one again.

Dunno, might work.

It is happening because the file is corrupted. and it hurts, especially when your about to take your team from the bottom of coke league 2, to the champs of the EPL...
