(Official!) FIFA 2010 wish list

Here's the things that didn't get in to 09 but hopefully will in 2010. I'll constantly add more ideas as people come out with them.

1. Transfers being linked to performance (top scorer costing more and harder to sign)

2. Bidding against other teams for transfers for your players and for players your after

3. Longer injuries and a bigger variety

4. the music track list changing in the feb update

5.Seasonal weather and in all stadiums

6. being able to view other league standings and stats on players

7. having assist stats in the top 20's

8. goalkeepers that get sent off and injured

9. Transfer shortlist

10.Save replays to console rather than just online

11. Getting offered other jobs if your a good manager.

12.Preseason friendlies

13. Realistic targets from the board (in the prem with peterborough first season I'm expected to win the league).

14. SET PIECE EDITOR.

15. Option of who goes in the box for corners and free kicks

16. Quick freekicks

17. Kit editor, also being able to edit kits once a season in manager mode.

18. Change the keeper in the arena

19. On long free kicks we should be able to play the ball 360 not just in front of you

20. Created players should be able to have alll stats on 99

21. INDOOR 5 ASIDE STADIUM LIKE 97.

22. Real promotion set up's for lower divs and real tournament set up with replays neutral venues and the final in the national stadium.

23. Custom manager faces

24. Players warming up on the touch line.

25. the inclusion of Holland and Ivory Coast

26. Create a team

27. bring back customisable team numbers (removed for 09)

28. bigger variety of ROTW teams

29. Classic teams with well known classic players like Pele, Maradona, Zico, Charlton.

30. A training wall in the arena for free kick practise.

31.A practice mode with mini game like drills to complete.

32.The ability to change captain mid match.

33. more about the managers & players of other teams (sackings, hirings, injuries) maybe in a daily news kinda thing....(madden has an in game radio show)

34. the ability to set loan periods for your players and to be able to call back a player from loan should you need it

35. Champions league games played at night.

36. More details to choose from in detailed search. ie. Height - shot power.

ok:

1: bring back customsable team numbers (removed for 09)
2: Stadium Creator (if possible)
3: youth squads
4: better variety of ROTW teams eg; not just teams relegated from last season.
5: better commentators/more variety of partnerships eg; Motson/Liniker, Lawrensen/Barry Davies.......

This is not official, there is nothing about this that is official, there is nothing about this that will ever make it official. When will people stop posting official next to their thread topics?

Some of the stuff you have listed is already in the game, but aside from that it's a good list. I'd like to see more international teams i.e. Costa Rica, Colombia, Chile Canada, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Ghana, Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco, Wales, Japan, etc. I would like to see full leagues from Russia, Argentina, and Greece. More authentic stadiums. You can start with all the ones that were in previous PS2 versions. Acquire the licensing of Netherlands national team and Santiago Bernabeu. Also the addition of Ibrox, Celtic Park, Hampden from Scotland. As well as all UEFA 4 and 5 star stadiums should be in there. Also stadiums throughout the world like La Bombanera, the new Soccer City in Johannesburg, Seoul WC Stadium, etc. Rain and snow in online play. Real time weather like NCAA Football 09 has linked up with The Weather Channel. An international tournament in tournament mode for national teams. I don't know you could call it The World Cup, i'd even take you calling it the international Cup like you can eventually get to in BAP seasons mode. It should be put into the general tournament mode. Also the ability to do tournaments for online play.

The possibility to control CPU teams in offline tournaments. Like in the old days...

Since when did 09 have these (explain please):

12. more traits to select from (good and bad) ie. goes down easy and argues.

36. make first touch a stat. (Berbatov can pick balls out from the air better than say Titas Bramble who's got a foot like a 50p).

Can somebody give me input about these being in 09 because i didnt notice.

id like to see

blue square league teams
managers being more involved in game
subs warming up and sat on bench animated
better cut scenes (more depth of field)
4th official holding up added on time
NEW commentary... (i like the commentators we have now but surely we'll get new commentary... great work with the extra's on the ps3 store though)

- Make the radar more customizable. Let users set the size of the radar and the size of the players on the radar as well as customize the position and visibility factor.

- Let users save replays from offline and online games. (while highlights are playing for example)

- Let us set weather and time of day in online matches.

- We should be able to play with several (up to 4 would be fine) local players on one console when entering multiplayer-online-matches. Right now we can only play with "guests" when we're in a 1 on 1 session.

- Fix the quitters problem once and for all. When someone quits or shuts down his console, it should also appear in the honest player's statistics. (as 3:0 for example)

That stupid glitch where you get a two "yellow card-able" offences in one passage of play and get away without anything.

keepers never get injured and I have had some keeper nearly clear me off the map and no ball contact what so ever but still not even a FK or PK

i say get more international teams in game!
Plus the rest of the scottish divisions!
2 v 2 online ranked games (not be a pro u and ur "online" mate both play as "any") where u and u someone else can play!

and btw yes keepers do get sent off!!!!!!

i only recently knew this after getting 2 keepers sent of in matter of days!
first time it was 2 yellows!
2nd was a strait red!

not seen any get injured yet tho!

I had it happen twice. A man through on a break keeper comes charging out, misses the ball and takes out the man. Get's him sent off. I had to sub out another player to put my backup keeper in.
