Put ManagerMode back on priority list please!

Why can't we have a proper end of season transfer period where you have no games but you can still negotiate with other clubs for players. We should also be able to arrange friendlies. Also being able to release players should be an option I think.

Manager Mode is the main reason why I buy a football game, the Fifa 09 one tops the PES one, but still there are so many points to improve, and those points aren't even that hard to include to name a few:

- Pre season matches.
- Practise mode
- Weather differences between matches , so not always sunny or night, it has to happen automatically so for example in winters maybe snow or more wind and rain.
- Longer transfer period.

These are just a few changes that ( I think ) need to be improved.

I don't think they can add preseason matches or a practice mode in a patch, but they could definitely fix the weather issue, because that is a bug. It's stuck on whatever option existed when you started up a new MM game. For next year, though, I would love to see these changes:

- Day to day game progression based on the calendar ("Advance to next day/week...")
- League updates via a daily "newswire" for injuries, etc.
- Transfer summaries
- Gossip stories ("League sources say So and so is not happy with his current contract at Inter") to give you a hint at whoever might become available to sign. (if it's already in, great...I'm only 4 games into my MM, and haven't seen it)
- Player performance variation based on morale (again, if it's already in, great)
- Daily/Weekly board feedback, especially after big wins/losses
- More media interaction
- Training Mode that affects player development (drills, etc.)
- Preseason friendlies

EA should take a look at this, cause 56 people voted for change, and I think that most of the things mentioned here are doable til 2010.

I agree, I love MM and I want to see it brought back like it used to be on the PS2...loads of options and I always had very different teams with doff. styles

Exactly, if they just gave us a next gen version of the MM on PS2 I would be more than happy!

How about utilizing a youth squad like on the PC. It would only have a couple of players that only appear when ready to move upto the 1st team or reserves.

Think about what Trevor Brooking would say about this.....

some type of reserve league where u can send squad players to get game time and (some) attribute points. Wouldn't want to control the reserve team, just have it ticking over in the background. So u can view results and whose playing, etc.

FA Cup Replays < carling cup only night matches apart from the final, CL only night matches only << gard ea there just basic things that should be right by now neway also the likes of choosing what ball changing the players boots in the middle of your season pattern of pitch editing numbers editing kits E.G being able to put your players in long sleeves in winter an short when summer >> full seasonal changes so we can regonise its winter . all simple stuff ea please thats all we ask

Like most people, I think it's pathetic that the weather doesn't change.

Also I think you should be able to have a second and third 11 of sorts, so when on the manage squad screen, you can press x or something and your team will change to that 2nd 11 lineup you've selected, making it a lot easier to switch teams for the cup games etc. giving the reserves and whatever a run out, instead of having to manually switch 11 players.

YES... MM is the most important play-mode for many, many people, so do something about it EA.

What i want:

Realistic player-developement. There should be a hidden stat for each player, which determined how much talent he had and thus how fast he would get exp. as it is now you can take any team from the bottom division to win the champions league with their default team, because they all get massive amounts of exp... thats not realistic (or any fun...)

Realistic accumulated fatigue: Theres someting wrong with this... If you upgrade "fitness" to above 3 you don't ever have to give players a rest or use reserveplayers. Thats no fun - and MM-gamers do like to micro-manage, and would like to have the need for a bigger squad.

Fifa manager 09 is a great game if they could mirror that into manager mode i would be ecstatic about fifa 10

One thing about MM that no-one seems to mind, is that by the time you get a chance to manage a 4* team the year is so far in the future, we could all be gon by then. We should be able to rack up points in the profile and use them to start a manager on a higher rating.

No-one seems comment that once your manager has a chance to manage a 4* team, the date has moved so far ahead that any relevance to reality is lost. We should be able to accumulate points in our profile through the challenges and general play then use them to install a better rated manager...

We should be able to sign players that are in the nationals teams but do not have their club teams in the game....

In the MM they should be a free transfer player and we sholud pay a value for them

You can do this in 09, by going into club transfer, searching for the players name, and putting him in free agents or the team you want him to play for.

Altho, if you do this, he will disappear from the National team and you will have to go to national selection and put him in again.

I have done this to a few players (Arshavin etc.)
