The last 2006 World Cup game was an interesting proposal. It certainly was not one of the "greatest games" out there, and it certainly will not be remembered by many except for those who bothered to buy the game. Nonetheless, with the new World Cup just around the corner, it seems like a good idea to begin giving suggestions to the game developers in order for them to perhaps take some of our comments as good ideas. Of course, this doesn't mean that you should expect anybody to take your suggestions, but it's always nice to for the least voice your opinion on the matter.
I only have four suggestions: 1. Include continental tournaments. These include: -UEFA European Football Championship -CONMEBOL Copa America -CONCACAF Gold Cup -OFC Nations Cup -CAF Africa Cup of Nations -AFC Asian Cup These do not necessarily have to "overshadow" games like the "UEFA Euro 2008" video game. The game's main focus would be the World Cup, not these individual competitions. Still, for the sake of having more interesting things to do in the game, including these championships would be a highly interesting addition to the game. 2. Along with the above suggestion: Include the Confederations Cup. 3. Include a manager mode! Well, after all, national football teams also have managers. In this case, EA would have to be rather creative in terms of how they would make this work in the game. Every time I think of this idea I can't help but wander away in a series of things. For instance, let's say that you pick England in the manager mode. You would have to manage the team much in the same way you do the teams in the manager mode of the normal FIFA series. Among the teams you would: -Plan and play international friendlies. -Pick the players you want in the "main team" (including those that would be sitting in the bench during the game). You could even get to pick some "random" (fake computer generated players) that seem like good additions to the team aside from the main stars. -Manage your way around player injuries and discontent. -Get commands and suggestions from the "The FA," such as what players to use and what friendlies to play and which you should definately try to win. -Take your team into Continental Competitions, such as participating in the European Football Championship; but you could also make England an "Invitee" of other competitions such as the Copa America. If you win in your respective competition, you can even make it into the Confederations Cup. -Finally, participate in the World Cup Qualifiers and the World Cup! If you keep losing in your challenges, you can also get fired. Just like in real life. 4. Create your own national football team. Wouldn't this be fun? You would be able to create a whole new team, or you could re-create an extinct football team such as the USSR football team. That's about all I have in mind that would be interesting new additions to the game. Comments, more ideas, and other whatnot are welcome! |

Another interesting thing to add would be a bracket system where you can more effectively visually see the position of your team in a tournament.
The 2006 game simply had lists, but that really did not fit for much eye-candy to the game. |

1. I think that there should be every national team that participates in the fifa world cup 2010 qualification to be in the game. Every stage should be put in the game instead of leaving out teams and stages.
2. The game speed should be like fifa 09, not world cup 2006 3. have captain your country just like in UEFA Euro 2008 4. Play in rain, snow, or downpours. 5. Even have the 8 teams that withdrew and did not enter the world cup in the game |

Thank you for the supportive messages.

Nonetheless, in the case that does not happen, this is why a "Create-A-Team" option should also be available for this game. Then you'll be able to make your own team, including one that was not priorly available in the game. |

The last "FIFA 2006 World Cup" game had nearly all of the teams of the world, with the exception of some non-FIFA affiliates and some FIFA teams (which for no reason that I know) were excluded from the game. The games usually come out around April of the year of the World Cup. For example, the FIFA game for the 2002 World Cup came out in April 22, and the game for the 2006 World Cup came out in April 26. They should have all the national teams affiliated with fifa and try to get as much licensed kits as possible.
All the continental tournaments. Stadiums They should have atleast 6 stadiums for each continent. Also they should have a stadium builder You choose which background you have What weather conditions you can have Assign what national teams use it How good the pitch is Choose if the stadium gets alot of heavy rain or snow or sunshine How big the pitch is The nets And obviously you can design how big it is and stuff like that and you should get alteast 5 slots. |

that is a great idea. The weather has to be a factor like in Euro 2008. You basically had a 50/50 chance of getting rain in a game but in fifa 2009 you only got sun which is kinda boring. Also, instead of maybe having every team, just have like 150 teams instead of 127 teams in 2006

Add an option to make your own set plays. Almost like how Madden games have the create your own play. Make it so that you can move around the players into a certain area like the create a formation. This will make free kicks more entertaining and fun to use as you will be able to setup trick plays and etc. if you cant do that then atleast make it so that you can choose your layoff man instead of it being random. Defenders usually dont make good free kick takers and i believe you should atleast be able to choose which two players stand over the ball.

I recall that the 2006 World Cup game had a series of fun things that I think should remain for the 2010 World Cup game. These are:
1. The old kits of the national football teams. The only problem I had with this was that the "old" kits of the football teams tended to look exactly the same as the one they used in the game. For instance, I remember that the French got approximately 4 "old" kits, but they looked exactly the same as the one they currently had for the game. 2. Historic football matches. I remember that there were "historic" matches that gave points to the player depending on how the player fulfilled the objectives set for the game. There was also the eventual option of playing past World Cup finals (By which I mean, the last match of the tournament). EA should repeat these games, but also expand on the concept by having past World Cup matches. For instance, the World Cup of Mexico 1970 had plenty of highly thrilling games, such as how when Peru overcame Bulgaria by a score of 3-2 even though the Bulgars had a 0-2 advantage over Peru, or that famed "Game of the Century" between Italy and W. Germany. |

I love this game, and I may say that it's the only game I play, but
I only play online!! The principal issue is that the most people play only with Manchester United or Barcelona, because that's undoubt they have more chances to win, and if they are loosing, they quit. I thought that a new filter in the matches creation would to exclude those teams which you don't wont to play against would be nice. But would not be THE SOLUTION. THE SOLUTION IS: - Just make the ranked matches have all teams at same level That way: - if you like to play for ranking you have to play clean and only on your skills not on team skills. - if you are a kid that only want's to WIN, no matter how, just play in non ranked maches. It's not so hard to do and I think much less frustrating for those who play polite and clean. Thanks K Last edited by ooTOUAREGoo; 03-03-2009 at 03:50 PM.. |

Make sure to keep the arena or change it to practice mode with fully editable camera types, we should also be able to select how many players participate in the training. (we need to be able to brush up on our skills)
When we are creating players we should be able to change the way our players take free-kicks. e.g like ronaldo or lampard |

Please directly port this to PC, Like EXACTLY the same game, same graphics, everything. The last few fifas on PC have been really bad and its a shame because the console ones are so good. Most people now have Pcs capable of running quite high spec games so there is no need. Most people who play football games on PC have a control pad so i really hope you just directly port it
