:yippee:My suggestions for 2010 FIFA World Cup: South Africa the video game are:
1) Every single national team all over the world from every single continent including all of the weakest nations from every single country should be included and added into the game. Like for example all Asian national teams including Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Laos, Brunei, etc. should be definitely added and featured into the game. Like for example all African national teams including Mauritius, Gambia, Liberia, Madagascar, etc. should be definitely added and featured in the game. Like for example all European national teams including Montenegro, and Serbia should be added and featured in the game. Like for example all South American national teams, Oceania national teams, all North American national teams, and all South Pacific national teams should all be added and featured into the game. 2) Manager Mode where you get to be the manager of any national team of your choice, you get to arrange friendly matches with any country from any part of the world, and take your national team from any of the qualification zones and try to qualify for the FIFA World Cup finals 3) Play any of the continental tournaments like EURO, Asian Cup, African Cup of Nations, OFC Nations Cup, Copa America, and Gold Cup 4) Create your own players 5) Update your national team roster by calling up players from any league in the world, for a national team call-up by searching for players who are of your certain nationality and transferring them on to the national team roster |

There is one mode that would certainly make a huge difference for Fifa World Cup 2010 video game. If we could bring back the "old squads", the former World Cup Champion teams, that would be awesome!
WORLD CUP LEGENDS MODE *** For example; having the original squad of never forgotten teams and players such as: Brazil 1994 (Romario) Argentina 1986 (Maradona) Germany 1990 (L. Matthaus) Brazil 1970 (Pelé) etc... I know it may take EA Sports a long time to get the rights of having all these players to be apart of this, but I know that could make a huge difference for the game and the fans. In order for you to actually play with those Legends National Teams, you would need to unlock them, either by winning the World Cup mode or the Local Continent Tournament. There are other key teams that even thought they did not win a World Cup, they were spectacular, teams such as: Romania 1994, Netherlands 1978, Brazil 1982, Cameroon 1990, Senegal 2002, Belgium 1982, Denmark 1986, Croatia 1998, etc... Other great item to unlock would be Lengedary Stadiums such as: Maracanã, San Siro, Rose Bowl, Stade de France, Santiago Bernabeu, etc... These are things that would make a great game, and keep the fans involved and never bored. Next time I will share my ideas about the The Golden Player Mode. Thank you |

Some extra ideas. Maybe they've already been said.
-Player modification. Ex. You can pick one of Cristiano ronaldo's many hairstyles before the game. -Licensed tournaments (Champions League, UEFA, etc.) -Train specific players in specific zones of their fitness. -Specific team gameplay. Ex. Arsenal and their speed and passing. Etc. -Specific player gameplay style. Ex. Signature free kicks, running style, striking style, passing, etc. -Dive button. But make it hard to convince referee it wasnt a dive. -Agression button. Ex. Intentionally foul player if you are frustrated. -Team and player frustration meter. - Manager Mode - Players want to leave a club (Like Ronaldo and REal Madrid) - Players from different countries can be called and you can play as them and their country. Ex. Messi to Argentina and you can play as him. - A lot more I jus cant think - Player sponsors like Nike shoes, etc. |

I think it would be a great idea if you could some how import your created player from previous FIFA games and play him in your world cup campaign as if it was continuing from your season so that your player will have all of his stats and atributes.
And also it would be pretty cool if there was some kind of be a pro world cup campaign and also you should be able to update how well the players are performing in the real world, world cup with adidas live season or something simular. I think that FIFA World Cup 2006 was a good game but the FIFA franchise has developed allott since then and ive recently played FIFA World Cup 2006 again and realised it was poor, FIFA World Cup 2010 needs to be allott better to compete with FIFA 09. |

If FIFA 10 and FIFA World Cup 2010 connected together as one game, then all of the national sides could be transfered over to the World Cup game (which would leave more room for local clubs in FIFA 10). Since both games would be connected, one would still be able to play among all of them in multiplayer mode.... Well, I think the idea dies with those who don't play multiplayer. Either the consoles get two drives where two disks can be played at the same time (hence one can play by himself with both games), or no go. Great ideas for the rest of you. This thread is really becoming quite prominent with all of its suggestions. I'm sure EA will take note of it and take some ideas from it. |

Golden Player Mode:
This would be a "Better" version of the "Professional Individual Mode" of the past Fifa games. In order for you to become a Golden Player, your selected player does not only have to show a oustanding football, but he also have to complete different tasks, that your coach will give you during the match, if you don't perform well or do not conclude these tasks, there is a chance for you to go back to the bench, where you can watch the game until a new opportunity arrives, so play at your best and always pray for your name to show up on the players game list. - On this mode you will be able to see what the Fans, the coach and the media thinks of your performance. - If you get called for the World Cup finals, you will compete not only for the World Cup title, but also for the Golden Player Award, the top scorer or even the fair player. - If your selected player gets injured, you can still play using another player to continue enjoying this mode. - Once you receive a individual award you can Unlock something very special. (Maybe a Legend Player or a Legend Team) The most important thing to remember on this mode is that: "You are just as good as your team" so don't try to play the game by yourself, make sure you help your teamates shine as well. Thank you for all the Ideas, I will be sharing some more later. |

1) Have all 200 countries (i counted them) that entered the qualification to be in the game and the nations that not partecipated. Real qualifying stages. For the players names i don't think that there is a big problem: on the fifa world cup site there is a database whit names of players of all nation that played ( exampleFIFA.com )
and why if in fifa 09 there are more than 200 teams they couldn't be in the world cup game 2) national teams can play continental tournaments to qualify to the confederations cup (italy and south africa automaticaly qualified) 3)real stadiums for most important national teams 4)continental real weather 5) there mustn't be unofficial teams like neederland in fifa 09!!!!!! it would be a fantastic game, trust me |

I completely agree West Coast. There should be all 200 teams in the game so it would make the qualification process much longer with more teams about 80 more teams to choose from. If they have about 600 teams in FIFA 09, why cant they put into 200 in WC 2010?

A few thoughts off the top of my head:
1. All FIFA nations should be included, not just a few. 2. A manager mode that includes not just the World Cup, but WC qualifying, domestic cup tournaments (Copa America, Gold Cup, Euro, etc. and their qualifying), and the Confederations Cup. 3. All World Cup stadiums and a few major stadiums from around the world. 4. Some sort of compatibility with FIFA 10/11: - The ability to import players from FIFA 10/11 that are not included in the game. - Use a manager from manager mode in the FIFA 10/11 games as a manager in FIFA WC2010. Maybe it could work like this: Once you buy the WC game and play manager mode on FIFA 10/11 you get a message at the end of a season saying you've been offered the national team job from a couple countries. The quality of the national teams that offer can be determined by your coaching prestige, with your birth country as a default option if your prestige is high enough to manage that country. 5. Online tournaments and leagues.

The 2006 World Cup is my favorite game so far, I've played it all the time for the last three years, so I know what needs to be done. Everyone's suggestions are valid, however here are my views.
1. More national teams should be available. It was annoying in the 2006 addition that you could play as obscure countries such as Pakistan and Hong Kong, yet you were unable to play as some of Asia's strongest teams such as Qatar, Oman and Jordan. Its probably impossible for every national team to be put in the game, but perhaps only the ones really really low down in the rankings, like Montserrat and American Samoa could be left out. 2. The managers being visible in the Euro 2008 game was a really nice touch. This should happen more often in the next World Cup games, albeit only for the teams with recognisable managers. 3. An inclusion of classic teams. What would be really nice for the 2010 World Cup game could be if you could unlock classic squads. Maybe you could unlock the Italian team from 2006, from 2002, from 1998...etc, as well as the other major country's teams such as England, Brazil, Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal and Argentina. When playing as these teams, you should play in the kit they wore at the time. Some other teams you could possibly unlock could be the great Hungarian team from the 1950's, the Peruvian team of 1978 and Bulgaria of 1994. 4. Instead of unlocking individual players, you should be able to unlock an 'All-Time Great Team' for individual countries. Having Rivera and Buffon on the same pitch doesn't look right, an all-time classic team would be a lot better. 5. More tournaments? I'm not sure that FIFA would be able to get the licensing for the Euro, the Gold Cup, the Copa America etc, but it would be nice to have them in the game. Perhaps also a 'create a tournament' mode is a good idea, like you could have a four-team round robin tournament to a complete 150 knock-out featuring all the playable nations. Confederations Cup is a good idea. 6. You should be able to choose who hosts the World Cup. Before starting a campaign, you should be able to choose from a list of several capable countries to host the World Cup you're going to play in. In 2006, you could be playing a tournament without Germany in it, and you'd still be playing in Dusseldorf or Frankfurt. 7. Creating a country? I think this is an interesting idea, but I don't know to what extent its feasible. The create-a-club mode in FIFA is currently poor, the crest looks rubbish, your club has no geographic location and the kits are undetailed. Maybe in the next World Cup game you could create a country by choosing its location and size on the map of the World, as well as its languages, its capital city etc. Then, you'd be able to make a detailed flag that looks authentic. Finally, you'd be able to make a kit, sponsored by an actual brand such as Nike or Adidas, based on the colours of your flag. You'd only be allowed to make one country, because if half the countries in the World are fake, it would ruin the authenticity of the game. 8. Realistic scorelines. One time I was playing a World Cup in 2006, and France were beaten 3-0 by Pakistan. Now in real life, I'm sure France would beat Pakistan 8 or 9 nil, perhaps more. On another separate occasion, France beat Belgium 12-0 in the group stage, when in real life it would possibly be a 2-1 or 3-1 scoreline. Please make it in the new game that the favorites always do well and don't lose against silly teams, unless you're the person playing as the silly team. Its great to make it to the semis to see 3 other good teams there, it makes it more of an accomplishment to win the World Cup. 9. Things FIFA must keep in the new World Cup game. - The country selection was amazing. The full globe thing was awesome, please keep that FIFA. - The fan shop was great, especially being able to purchase past kits. - The match openings were great. Perhaps FIFA could add the national anthems at the begining, maybe with shots of fans? - The drums! When African countries played, I loved the sound of the steel drums, as well as the brass band when England played, more of this please! PLEASE LISTEN TO MY REQUESTS FIFA, IF YOU DO, THIS WILL BE BY FAR THE BEST GAME YOU'VE PRODUCED, EVEN BETTER THAN THE ALREADY LEGENDARY 2006 WORLD CUP GAME! |

Post above mine basically says the same, but the #1 thing I would love to see in FIFA World Cup 2010 is All-Time teams.
23 man rosters of the most successful country's best players. Even if it's just 10 teams, this feature absolutely has to be included. |

Im all for all these ideas of old classic international teams it would be brilliant with teams like Maradona's Argentina, Pele's Brazil but it just will not happen . I bought Euro 2008 and EA couldnt even get all the licenses for the teams that were in the EURO 2008 ( for example NETHERLANDS ). I think if they cant even give us AT LEAST the teams in the World Cup 2010 Tournament fully licensed then dont even bother putting it on the shelves coz i wont be buying it ! ! !

If you guys make fifa 10 like fifa 09 it's gonna suck, cos the controlls are horrible on the regular fifa editions, the world cup controlls are better i really think you should focus more on the world cup edition for now instead of the regular crapy fifa editions you're making

1.More Stadiums- I think there should be at least 5 stadiums for every league. I also think that the big 3 Italy, Spain, and England should have every stadium. In last years game it kinda got boring to see the same old stadiums every game.
2.More Teams- It would be nice to see more leagues in the game. Greece, Argentina, Russia, Ukraine, Croatia, Serbia to name a few. This makes the champions league tourney better because at times i had two czech teams in the champions league. 3.Create a Team- I think this would be a cool option because for example, the mls is getting new teams all the time so to create one would be cool. 4.Scouting Improvements- You should be allowed to pick an area where you want to scout. If one wants to scout brazilian players he/she should be allowed. 5.International Mode- I know this is asked a lot but everyone wants to manage an international team. In the normal manager mode, if one's manager prestigue is good then perhaps the national team will come calling for him and he can make the jump. These are just a few ideas that I had that could make the game better. |
