Include licensed kits for all teams (including GKs). The Euro 2008 game was poorly made. About 10 nations had proper kits and the rest were fake. Shameful

Default Fifa World Cup 2010.

There are alot of ideas that should be implemented in 2010 WC game. For Example:

Manager Mode*

- Live Season qualifier: Which means that during world cup qualifiers in your Continent, you should be able to see what is going on with all continents, so you see what teams are making through the WC, and which ones are not.

- Friendly Challangers: Your National team can be invited to play against another National team, or you can invite another National Team to play on your "Backyard", you have the choice.

- Real Football Situations: You may name your squad, but you can find problems by either having your players injured or busy with their Club season, so you may need to find a substitute.

- National Team Performance: If your national team is performing well, you may see a big Crow on the upcomning games, however if your performance is bad, your fans are not going to watch you perform as much, so make sure your team is doing well so you can always count on the 12th player. Is also important to remember that depending on your performance your Job is on the line!

- Weather & Gaming Condition: In order to make this game a little more realistic, depending on the calendar and country, your game should be impacted by weather conditions or situations, for example: If you play during Winter in Russia, there is a huge possibilty that you would play in snow. If you play during summer in Africa, your players would be affected throught the conditioning of the heat.

- Qualified in the World Cup: Now that you have made to WC, you will see highlights of the other games, such as goals, scores and best moments. This will put you on right in the World Cup "eletrifying" Mode.

- Build your Stadium: If your selected Country does not have a official stadium yet, you can always build one, remember that you will have enough money to spare, so choose wisely and careful. If your country has a existing stadium, you can also re-build it, so you can increase the size or upgrade to more a modern structure. You also will count with over 85 stadium all around the world.

Match your Uniform: You will have the ability to choose your uniform match, if you want to play using your 1st Jersey with your 2nd Shorts and 2nd socks, you can do it! So you can pick the wardrobe that you think will differentiate your self from the other team. PS: Some teams may have a 3rd uniform.

National Anthems: You will be able to sing along with your team your National Anthem. Over 180 Countrys National Anthems.

Commentary in your Language: You will watch your game under your language. Over 15 different languages.

Choose your Coach: If you don't like your current coach, you can select another coach, by making a offer. He will have the choice of signing or not. Over 100 Coachs available to choose.

These are small things but can certainly make a difference in this game, so there are other things that can be added, but I will send some more ideas later.

Thank you

Fred Costa

IMO they should release WC 2010 as a downloadable expansion (like UT is in 09) for FIFA 2010. But I doubt it'll happen.

I agree 100% with fredjc_77, brilliant ideas.

They should have manager mode
1. where u have to organize friendlies to get ur team chemistry
2. Have Players get injured in their club and unable to participate in games.
3. Have players not in form if not playing well in club.
4.Have a Create a stadium for teams that dont have official ones.
5. Make crowd atmosphere realistic. (crowds in central and south america are brutal)
6. Have Become Captain of Your Team like Euro.
7. Have age affect your players.
8. Have a few seasons before World Cup starts.
9. Have clubs reject permission to loan player for friendlies.

Here is my Opinion
*Make a "Be a Pro" mode in World Cup, like you can take control of a real player and play in the cup or create your own player and was called up for the cup.
*Add all the teams that entered the Qualification, even if they withdrew. And add Tuvalu as a extra team if they are accepted in FIFA.
*Create a Stadium
*More realistic injuries, like if a player is injured, a trainer must show up, and if severely injured, must be carried off
*Make Cameramen look realistic
*Fans look realistic
*Maybe, let riots happen in a major city of a country when they lose, for example, in a qualifier that is critical, North Korea defeats Iran 1-0, making Iran fail to qualify. There should be lots of riots in Tehran. Or Mexico defeats USA in a second-round World Cup
game, causing riots in New York. We don't really have to see rioting fans, but at least a newspaper covering a story about it.
*Keep the Historical Matches. But more historical matches. Like the 1990 Quarter-final between England and Cameroon, Cameroon did better, but narrowly lost. And let us choose the team we want to play as. Because sometimes you want to play a team that is the opponent. And also put the players that played that game.
*Keep the satellite map. I thought it was a pretty cool feature to me.
*Let us edit the kits.
*Add Regional tournaments.
*Also, South Africa should be replaced by a Withdrawn African team randomly, is it weird that South Africa is qualifying? Blalalahey only were qualifying because they were actually qualifying for the 2010 African Cup, not the World Cup itself.

I like the be a pro gameplay but i wish that more countries were able to participate (Like african, eastern european, and south american countries)

Also i love it when the announcers call out people's names like ROONEEEEEY! I wish that in next years game you guys might develop a voice over system that will recognize names better and have the ability to hear more players name. Even in be a pro when i make a custom-name that is a normal football names like schaffer or miguelito etc. it would be sweet to hear a voice to announce that name. Even if the name call isnt as awesome as ROONEEEEEY its still would be awesome.

More leagues please,i watched some games from the Russian Premier League and wonder they arent in FIFA they might not be a part of FIFA but still there has to be other Leauges out there that arent in the game yet.

Im kind of tired of having teams from Greece and other countries that have no season and that are dumped into the Rest of World Category.

I love FIFA dont get me wrong but these changes and the some of the ones from that General guy about the Intenational gameplay would make FIFA beyond epic.

In Manager Mode there is the newspaper thing and the off the pitch questions and scenarios which is cool but when the story about the possibility of going to become the national team coach comes up and we dont get to become the national team coach it makes me want to see what it would be like to manage teams like England or Spain or even the USA. i think it would make FIFA a lot better if this was changed.

instead of making a separate manager mode just combine the two to make a huge manager mode with custom stadium upgrades, youth academies, automatic predertimined growth for young players(base this off of scouts), HAVE A LIVE FEED THROUGH XBOX LIVE OF SCOUTING REPORTS WITH UP TO DATE PROFILES OF UPCOMING PLAYERS. Possibility to manage both club and country teams, the option to deal with personalities of players and have morale effect gameplay more.

And have the possibility to sim an entire season(i like to manage small clubs and make them into the next dominate teams by scouting and bringing in young players and wacth them grow into stars)

Default Fifa 2010

I'm really shocked at EA to be honest, the greatest idea which made a fifa game stick out from the rest and will always be remembered will be FIFA 98!
This is because INDOOR FOOTBALL! this was the greatest and funnest mode i have ever played. I cant believe theres been so many more fifa's since and not one with the greatest indoor game again!

This has to be in the new one INDOOR FOOTBALL!!!
PLEASE! it was the greatest mode ever!!!!!!

P.S Also for celebrations, i would love to see the Shefi Kuqi Swan Dive XD
Or the Facundo Sava celebration with the Highwayman mask XD
Oh.. and improve the robot animation... who dances like that XD

Default WC Game

Why not have the world cup game as downloadable content for FIFA 2010, that way I would be intrested in it, same as you have done for the ulitmate team.

I perfer a game just focused on the world cup. I think it should also be a like manager mode and not just have you play on season.

If you dont make it in South Africa then u start planning for the next one. You go out and scout young players and schedule exibitions to prepare for the next 4 years.

That would suck! I'd be really disappointed with EA if they did that.

Sounds interesting. Maybe EA could make a "World Cup Anthology" game, where they allow players to work on a series of fantasy (or realistic, depending on when EA plans to start) World Cups and qualifiers. Of course, this is nearly impossible (EA is not that creative).

FIFA sells well on their World Cup games so they aren't going to make it a download.

I thought all of the different features on the 06 game were great, but the game play was terrible. Deeper rosters and organizing friendlies would be nice. The crowds should be a huge factor in qualifiers as well. Teams like Ecuador and Bolivia should be nearly impossible to beat at home with the effect the altitude has on opposing teams. Away teams should have a hard time connecting passes on the road just because of the rowdiness of the crowd and the comfort level the home side has.

Home field advantage is more important in World Cup qualifiers than any other competition.

Must's :

-Each WC champion team should have the squad that won the cup, example England '66 squad Argentina '86 squad ect. as a bonus feature.

-Qualifying for the WC the road to the Cup would be very good, i mean how many managers are booted out during Qualies?, great window for a NT Manager Mode.

-Classics Section. A section in the game where you can relive and replay classic world cup Matches. Like Argentina vs England '86 .... Brazil vs France '98 ... and so on.

Love this idea - they need to go all out though - classic uniforms, all the players, stadiums etc.

Perhaps you could have a 'be a pro' mode where you start as a kid playing in the under 17, under 20 world cups, before hitting the 'big time'.

I'm sure EA will do an excellent job of the 2010 World Cup game - they always do with 'tournament specific games'. They need to go all out on the crowds, stadiums, atmosphere - but I'm sure they will.

To be honest, a stadium generator could be an interesting addition to the game along with an international team builder (less likely).

I would like to see Hampden (Scotland's stadium), Wembely (England's stadium) and the remaining home nations stadium having said that N.I and R.O.I stadiums would be doubtful as they look architecturally incomplete. The millenium stadium would be the most likely to be added over and above England's and Scotland's.

It would be good if you could change the weather, pitch quality and other factors to make the game more realistic.

What do you's think?

i think that they should make fans and security and cameramen look realistic make fans chant their songs and anthems and sometimes throw flares wen the opposition scores,

injuries should be more realistic if the player is injured the medic comes out and if badly injured taken away on a stretchure,

add a lot of stadiums

make players look like wat they actually look like in real life and each player to hsve their main celebration

Wouldn't also be cool if they could make some hooligan fights in the game. There are not a lot of fights in WC but i think they would be funny.
There would also be good if they would make a "coach look" like in Uefa Champions League 2004-2005 where you can make your own coach and then every goal you score you can see your coach happy. That would be really cool.

world cup 2006 game was a classic to me,

i spent most of summer 2006 playing that game with my family.
[cousins,uncles & friends]

the manager mode feature would be very nice, especially showing the
managers like in euro 2008 that was a very realistic feature.

The lot of you are posting really constructive comments.

I hope EA takes several of these ideas into consideration.
