Is this only happening if you control a Premier League team, or is it happening in other leagues as well? I'm so frustrated that they've known about this problem for 3 years and have done NOTHING to resolve it.

same happand to me , 4 seasons in , total freeze on the q&a page after a game, now i can not progress with my season , even with a new disc.
this also happand to me with fifa 08 4 or 5 seasons in , a complete freeze occurs .
many people have had this problem . i think its very bad on ea s part not to explain this problem ,as everyone is having the same trouble !!!

i have the same problem right now.

im playing with feyenoord in the dutch leage but when i complete a match it will freeze by 6% and i can't do anything.

must i start over again now my whole mm?? because thats not gonna happend!!

I've got a similar problem on my PSP version. Whenever I complete a season and everyting is updated, and then I go on either 'Next Match' or 'Squad' the PSP freezes then turns itself off. It first happened when I completed my second season lalala QPR (after winning the prem) and has happened to all the careers I started since when I finished the first season.

Same here. Every DARN season I play, it will freeze at season 4 or 5. I just created the best team yet. All under 22 Bury squad. Started them all at 18, all + 92 with 7 @ 95+. Just finished the season with no defeats and 1 tie on World class diff. I took them from being a horrible team to the premier league.

It froze.... I h8 this s---. Every manager mode from LA Galaxy to Chelsea to Man u to Chelsea again to AC Milan to Porto to Everton. I've spent hours on each of my teams all last save is a froze save. Come on Peter Moore fix this s----.

Just happened to me twice, i managed to get past it earlier on today. Then it happened again got stuck on 30% about ten times. Come on EA get it sorted.

TRUTH!
it happens in the 5th/6th season with a club usally
freezes the xbox/whatever and makes you have to start a new manager mode

it's designed to break! by fifa!
so you start new ones etc etc, get fed up - by the newst fifa

it's obvious they are getting to the point where they cant really add new things into fifa, so they have to design things to keep us buying fifa, e.g. taking out things like fan shop but putting them back in in the next version

i feel violated

i read that it is designed to break, so that people wont just stay playing fifa 09 forever, and not buy newer models. But apparently if you delete your squads etc etc you have saved it works, didnt for me though.

I have had this problem too, but believe that I've now found a work-around as I picked up my spending spree trophy this morning

EA customers Services claim that the error is due to corrupted game saves. I doubt that this is true as a corrupted file should not be accessible and it shouldn't be possible to load the game if the data is corrupt.

Remember on the PS2 when data was corrupted; instead of the colourful animated logo on the memory card manager, there was just a big purple box and a tag of 'corruped data'. File was unaccessible. No such thing on the PS3.

My theory is that for data to become corrupt, something must interfere at the time of saving. Since FIFA does the saving for you (Autosave feature) I simply disabled this in the profile settings on the main menu.

Now when you play through FIFA you will get lots of annoying messages asking if you want to save every time you make a squad change, deal in the transfer market or simply play a match. Stick with it. ONLY save via the Save option in the Manager Mode menu, always so NO when the message appears after you do something during gameplay. Save every 5 games or so in case of a crash or power cut for example.

I managed to get further than ever before in Manager Mode using this method. As long as you are in control of the saves, there shouldn't be any risk of corrupted game data.

After the end of the January transfer window in Season 2 I had made 50 signings and unlocked the Spending Spree trophy. Woo-hoo!

Previously I could never make it this far because of a freeze either on the 'simulating' screen or in the arena. This freeze was permanent and existed whether I simmed or played a match. Starting over again was my only choice.

I hope this technique works for you guys too.

and yes, this has happened to me twice... but always after my CL final, when it loads back to the MM menu... it freezes at the loading screen.

EA, EA,EA ... just hand the Fifa License over to PES... they do better with LESS of a budget and little to NO sponsership licensings...

This occurred on my 3rd season with a La Liga team. I have another Bundesliga MM in my 6th season or so and it still works fine. All I can do is try to remove the auto-save feature and see if it makes a difference, if not i've been told my MM is gone.

This has now happened to me. I'm 5 seasons in and I cannot progress as the game crashes during the loading screen after a certain match, causing me to have to restart the console.

It's really annoying as I put a lot of time to get this far and now I'm lalalaed.

I have been having this problem recently. The way I have been getting round it is to install to hard drive. If you are currently playing from the hard drive, delete the game from HD and reinstall it.

Not the quickest solution but has worked several times for me so far.

Same thing happens to me... I'm currently mid season but it first happened two games in of all games Vs Liverpool (scum)... I got to the loading screen and the game just froze, although not happy I rebooted and sim'd the game without any problems and moved on putting it down to a glich.. but now I have arrived at the return match in the league and the same thing has happened against the same scum STRANGE!!!!

Hi all,
I have had this a couple of times and it is really annoying! Anyway, I have manager mode installed on my hard disk and decided I would delete it and re-install it – and what do you know, it worked! After deleting Fifa 10 and re-installing it on my hard disk I was able to continue manager mode without it freezing…

On another note, I believe I seen someone on another post say they didn’t have Manager Mode installed on the disk and they installed it to fix the freezing issue…

In summary…

For those of you that have a hard disk with the required space for Fifa…

· If you have Fifa 10 installed on your hard disk and Manager Mode freezes – Delete FIFA 10 from the hard disk and re-install it.

· If you DO NOT have Fifa 10 installed on your hard disk and Manager Mode freezes – Install Fifa 10 on your hard drive.

I know this seems like a pain but it takes 5 to 10 minutes (for each solution) and this is well worth it - especially when you have invested a lot of time in Manager Mode and it crashes...

I hope this helps…

PS EA, as much as I love FIFA 10 - GET THIS SORTED!! It's a horrific issue that is spoiling the game for THOUSANDS of people...
