No I disagree

Infact I vote for EA Sports to drop its whole PC lineup .. give it to someone who RESPECT PC gamers .

keep fifa / nba / nhl / nfl for the consoles .. stay with the consoles .. we won't miss a thing.

Infact keep the whole EA line up inculding PC titles only .. keep em with all thier DRM and lalalala.

Think of it .. you hate your games that gets pirated right ? don't make them then .. you have consoles .

And yes next time you release Fifa 2010 for PS3/Xbox360 only .. you won't have any issues at the forums ..

even if you made Fifa 2010 for the Wii ... Its gonna be so hard to port it to the PC .. cuz u know the Wii is superior to the pc in every aspect .

Even the PS2 is superior to the PC .

Why have you dropped the PSX ? which is almost identical to the PC ? ....

PLEASE DO NOT RELEASE FIFA 2010 FOR THE PC , LET THE MODDERS DO IT , AT LEAST IT WILL BE READY IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS ....

When a developer make a game for the pc and console as well, both with a own engine, the pc would get bigger fps (frames per second) and nicer graphics. There is also more possible with the controls on pc. PC could use a keyboard, mouse, controller, joystick and a sterring wheel. That will fit all kinda games. For genres like first person shooter, rts and simulation and mmorpg, the pc will always be the best.

**Because:
-u can be more precisely in a fps
-u could use a lot of shorcut keys in a rts and mmorpg and both use ur mouse to fast using a function
-got cpu's that could calculate a lot more in all kinda games. Most importent with advanced AI, like in a simulation game
-the different types of controlling, makes fit all games to the max and also configurable in Windows as well
-pc hardware updates very fast, makes more advanced games possible

Just some reasons.. so a pc can do everything a console could do, but even better.

In market ways, the consoles are superiour. Thanks to the pirate downloaders. Thats why they make some games for console and if u got luck, they make a usefull and goodrunning port.
Instead the best. A trully pc-engine would superiour to a console all-the-way. When the law quit piracy, the pc make a comeback on the markets and then developers prefer pc. Because of the reasons i told above. Like the pc hardware market is growing all the time and that makes more advanced graphics possible. 5 years coding the same hardware would be boring....

Just an example:
Crysis has been made for pc. It use a lot of pc fuetures.
Crysis cannot run on a console, because it is to heavy. Even when they optimize the engine for a PS3 of 360.
Now u say: "Why Far Cry does?" - Because that game is not that heavy to run, but looks like the same. That is because of the engine.
Far Cry on pc will be nicer then on the console and it will give a double fps.
So cry on

Flight Simulator X is even heavier then Crysis. No single console could ever run this. That game is heavy cpu like!!!!, so don't whine about cpu's now. PC is superiour. A console is like 5 years the same and then a new one will appear. Nothing change the prestations of ur console. The only thing is that it is more easy to coding a console game, because all people got 1 configuration.

Maybe one day u understand.....

Maybe i ain't understand him that good, but the best would be (in my opinion)to make a good port or make a pc engine and find a better solution against pirates. Sure u think about, but maybe make a online check everytime u go online. Not with third party programs, but within Fifa hisself.

So every week it upload a little file to the FIFA folder to make it possible to even play offline. Just make this all very fast and userfriendly. This is not anyproblem to gamers, when u integrate it well!!
Use a non-internet version for country with a low internet usage..
The most pirates are from Europe and US i think, so...

DRM really sux and is not fair to people.
After u ain't support that FIFA version anymore, u should make a patch. So u can install and play FIFA (vanilla) without internet. At that time u sold a lot and there is new FIFA..

Beside of this: Because piracy, the law will change some things that make dowloading illegal.. So pc users punish themselves in future and make privacy less, as its already is beginning to look like with many things.

First of all modern PC's are always going to be more superior because desktop technology is always expanding and getting better and more powerful, a console however stays the same for it's whole life untill the next generation is released. But back on topic :

I personally disagree with the fact EA still make Fifa for PS2, it's been what 3 1/2 years since the 360 (first Next-gen console) was released? Since then you've had the PS3, sorry to all you PS2 owners but if you want the best then you need to expand technology and upgrade like the rest of us.

Then there's PC, well this ones really simple, it's obvious why PC's run the current-gen engine because EA is aiming at the whole market of desktop gaming. You don't need a PC capable of playing Crysis / Oblivion / RandomShinyGame in max settings to play Fifa on it; and people with not so much cash or simply just a lesser machine can still afford and play Fifa no problem.

So I also think Fifa should be made for the big daddy PC's and use the next gen engine, hell, graphically Fifa doesn't look that demanding that you'd need a Crysis capable desktop to play it on.

If PS2 users upgraded, and EA developed the next-gen engine for PC also, then EVERYONE would experience in general a better Fifa experience, because there would be one game for all formats and EA could devote their whole dev team to ONE GAME, the only work needed would be fine tuning for each system (controls and what not).

My 2 pence.

I agree in one sense, but not in another.

The game is not next gen because of one of many reasons.

They would only be able to aim it at people with high spec systems and not people who play pentium 4 systems still. This would put allot of people out and it is not what EA want to do.

They already know what the Xbox 360 and PS3 can do and so can aim as high as they want in regards to the systems capability.

However, all PC's are not the same and so it would be hard for them to deliver such a high spec game on the market at this time.

It is alright for those running Quad Core and 1gb graphics and more but for people who only have a p4 running at 256mb built in graphics, it is not going to work

There are certainly pro's and Con's to that theory, for the consumer as well as EA.

I am sure they want to do that but it is not that easy I am afraid

If you cannot, or do not want, to port the Next-Gen console engine onto the PC can you at least invest in a new engine for the PC Platform which would allow for better gameplay then the current engine the PC platform has. Even a few of the features (I especially want Custom Tactics for the PC) from Next-Gen would be great combined with improved graphics.

Also unless it cannot be done on the current engine, and no new engine is liscensed or built, please at least try to include the same quality of features as the Next-Gen consoles get. I do not understand where the problem lies in giving us the same deep and fun Be A Pro: Seasons mode the console recieved. Being called up for internationals and all that would be great and extend the longestivity and fun that is Be A Pro: Seasons mode for me.

Those who have a p4 and a 256 MB gfx card are not gamers. True gamers are always up to date with most current hardware because they want to play the most modern games at the highest possible level of enjoyment (highest details if u wish). Those who call themselves gamers with such low-standard our out-dated pc's are deffinetly not that what they claim to be and they usually stick to older games because they cant even run newer games at acceptable level.

Should all pc games manufacturers switch to EA's policy and neglect or even insult true gamers who spend insane amounts of money on best and newest hardware? Should they all use graphic engines from 2004 or 2005 so that everyone would be satisfied? Please... there is something called scalable graphics, technology is moving forward, not backwards. Those who cant play the game at the highest level will scale the graphic down so that it becomes acceptable and playable. Dont forget PES 09,which is allready next-gen and it can run fine even on older pcs (2-3-4 years old).

Piracy? Those who want to play online will PAY for their game because it gives the best satisfaction, those who want to play it offline will get bored after 2 weeks anyway.

No PC games will really be made any more for pentium 4. All new PC games are now being made properly for dual and quad cores. So EA will have to move on and allow PC to be next-gen if they want to keep up with the rest of the PC gaming market

After buying the first gaming PC it's not too expensive too maintain, as you only have to spend money here and there on the expiring part, whereas with consoles as soon as they expire you have to lash out and buy a whole new machine.
