I just posted a loooooooong message that didn't go thru.. that was annoying !
you have to include SAUDI ARABIA in the next game..I was really upset that it wasn't even considered a team to you when you have so many EA sports fans here.. you should give back to your fans around the WORLD. you have A LOT of consumers here A WHOLE LOT ! asian teams do EXIST you know... so please include more ASIAN TEAMS ...like SAUDI. thank you. |

When i got my ps3 it came with PES09 which was ahuge let down but there version of be a pro was quite good. In fifa, they should make you play a game for a team no one has heard of and then a club will offer you a contract. You accept and play for the 2nd training team and you have to move up until u reach international captain. During the seasons though, you should be able to decide what your player does during training (practice free kicks, corners, penalties), be able to buy your to buy new cars and houses and other things to make him happy. Also you should be able to talk with your team mates and become friends with them.

In fifa 10 i would want:
1.Being able to invite some of your friend into the arena, so that you can have a mees about. 2.Sort the offsides out 3.handballs 4.Training mode e.g practice free kicks with walls, corners 5.strectches when you get injured and 6.better touches 7.be able to score screamers |

I posted this in a new thread before I saw this thread, sorry. Anyways...
When on defense, the right thumb stick isn't used for anything important, switching players (already another button for that), so I think it would be really cool to use it to control the defensive line. This would add a whole new experience I feel. Then you can attempt to push people offsides or back off to play it safe and prevent annoying breakaways. What do you guys think about this? |

I'd like to hear better commentary, even if it is more generic to cover a variety of situations. I hate it when you've scored but the keeper gets a touch and Andy Gray goes on about what a good save it was throughout the reply. Also, did thy ever fix the crazy face thing that players did from time-to-time? I love Fifa but didn't play 09 much because of the bugs.

Here are a few things I hate on Fifa 09 and think need improvement for Fifa 2010 :-
1. Defenders being faster than strikers when running. 2. The time it takes for a player to respond to a button press. 3. Too much advanges & offsides. 4. No wall movement on free kicks. 5. No hand ball rule. 6. I also had a keeper handle outside the box and nothing happened. 7. It is also very difficult to take any player on, no matter how skilful. Please get it sorted for Fifa 10!! Other Suggestions:- Use player photos on time line ups, like on Sky Sports! Better crowd animation Show players warming up and managers on the touchline. Also, why do you never have the proper Holland team in Fifa???? Cheers. |

Hey there. After reading some posts regarding the responsiveness when passing etc i have to disagree. Sure, in theory you want the player to pass when you press the button. In practice it would start to be a different game. I played Pro Evolution Soccer and ISS before that rather than FIFA. i wanted a simulation of football. FIFA was an arcade game. 60 yard screamers and bicycle kicks and goal scoring "sweet spots". Now i play FIFA because Pro Evo refuses to change even though it's been stuck in the same trap for 2-3 years. FIFA has improved rapidly in that time. To improve FIFA you need to see what it does better than Pro Evo and what Pro Evo does better than FIFA. MAIN ISSUE? Pro Evo is too fast. sit back and watch someone play it. it looks nothing like football now. Playing against the AI is stupid when it sprints down the line, turns on the spot on an instant, sprints with the ball the other way, crosses the ball with weak foot, on the sprint onto a strikers head. what was the point in my defender shielding him and pushing him into the corner and onto his weak foot. players move so fast and it looks unnatural. physically impossible. In real football if your right footed, you can't pass until your right foot is coming forward. in Pro Evo you press "pass" and instantly the ball is gone. even if the player is using that foot to step it will still super quickly be able to come forward instantly to the ball. Play Pro Evo. you'll see what i mean. it's so unnatural. FOOTBALL IS NOT THAT FAST! players cannot turn on the spot at full sprint. They have to slow at some point. start to change towards Pro Evo and it will turn heads back to Pro Evo because FIFA is closest to the actual GAME of football. change that and people will return to Pro Evo because of what it does do better...
Pro Evo's strengths are subtle but have a large effect. Goals are just so rewarding. to score a 20 yard strike is truly pleasing in Pro Evo. FIFA has gone a long way to give the same satisfying feeling, but it isn,t quite there for me. Pro Evo doesn't have the nice graphics (it's pathetic attempts at licencing are boring now.... merseyside reds) but when a cutscene shows, it looks like it would on TV. FIFA looks very arcade like on some cutscenes. watch football on TV. when not in broadcast camera view, when watchin Becks step up to that free kick. when watchin Pirlo get booked, when watchin Ronaldo react to a close effort, Pro Evo does those in between bits much better. Replays are better too. The Master League and Manager Mode both have good and bad points. all i'm saying is take what make Pro Evo does great, add it to the great things FIFA does and bye bye Konami. FIFA is better on most levels. Would love to see a really realistic Manager mode. Champions League games at night. one week warm night at San Siro, then rainy night at Anfield. Teams should actually try to Strengthen weak areas with realistic signings. Oh, and more fouls in FIFA. Football is full of them. and a little diving and bad decisions. Unless FIFA wants to take an arcade direction. but leave that to lesser titles and FIFA Street style games. watch real football, Pro Evo, look again at FIFA09 (brilliant btw). copy ideas, drop things that are "arcadey". oh, can i round goalkeepers easier next year too? tough buggers!! |

I have a few ideas.
I think the sending off needs to be sorted out, i have tackled a player but got sent off 30 minutes after it happened. I also think you should have the chance to appeal against your red cards in the be a pro mode. I think other people have had some great suggestion the anger meter in particular is great, i think it be a good idea if you could argue with the ref or the players size each other up. I also like the idea of seeing the manager and players on the bench and seeing them warming up. I also wanted to say that the games are getting better each year and i can't wait for this one to come out.

Players should have their sleeves rolled up when they are warm even in the winter
They should make windy weather cos then the ball would move all over the place When its raining puddles should be visible and the players slipping on the grass When a team wins a cup game, league, safe from relegation etc fans should run onto the pitch and celebrate Bring Celtic Park,Ibrox and Hampden Park and other SPL stadiums into it And put SFL teams in aswell You should be able to hear players calling for the ball Fans booing their team if they are playing terrible If The Opposition team miss a sitter they can go WAAYYYY Improve graphics on PSP Games being postponed Games being stopped during play over the line situations club songs like You'll Never Walk Alone being played at half time, full time and before a match Last edited by NakaMurray96; 04-07-2009 at 10:49 AM.. |

all this info has been released.
improvements: Manager Mode has had many issues addressed. Building a team to 5 stars will be much harder. The experience points system has been improved, pre-season friendlies are now organised by your assistant manager, a HUB screen has replaced the message system, you can now edit kit numbers, the staff upgrades have been tweaked, you can get updates from other teams around the world (Total Football Experience), the player growth is revamped, the atmosphere is different with rival teams. All of these features were confirmed by Marcel Kuhn (Manager Mode Producer).[4] Ball physics have again been refined and improved from FIFA 09. To extend the realism of the gameplay, the defensive line in matches will generally be positioned deeper, to prevent attacks having an unfair edge. General gameplay has been improved as it has been every year. This year, A.I., goalkeeping, positioning, defending, physical play, and set pieces have been improved from last year's game. "360° Dribbling System": The first-ever true 360° dribbling system in a football game gives you precise control to skillfully play spaces between defenders that previously were not possible. "Improved Urgency AI Logic": With over 50 new movement cycles, improved urgency AI logic delivers more responsive positioning so the players stay focused on the ball and move at a speed appropriate to the action. "Improved Trapping Intelligence": Players now have a better awareness of where the easiest, most natural trapping position is so they can get the ball on the ground and under control easier and earlier. The wall defending against a freekick can be moved through use of the shoulder button. The game will not feature dynamic lighting. Cross-field passes are now generally a lot more driven and will take about half the time to cross the pitch. Players can assign specific stadiums to clubs. On cold days, it may snow, and players' breath will be visible. There will be new crowd effects. There will be a new training mode, similar to the one in the PS2 version new leauges: The following leagues have been confirmed for FIFA 10:

In Ranked Play every team should start off with the same skill level, each player the same overall. Then like in Manager Mode, you adjust the skill points to the player you want. This would prevent FIFA players with no talent or understanding of football from abusing the best sides.
Through balls shouldn't be so effective and accurate. Goalkeepers respond to loose balls & lobs quicker. Introduce the concept of midfield, make it an integral part of play as it is in real life. At the moment it is too easy to just do an 80-yard through ball with your defender which splits your defence leaving the striker to run in behind. Fans react to certain players on a team, for example Arsenal fans boo Ashley Cole when he is in possession of the ball Different commentary teams for different matches, for example Martin Tyler & Andy Gray for Premiership matches, Clive Tyldsley & someone else for European matches, Ian Darke (the one who does boxing too) & Alan Smith for Championship matches. More stadiums or the abilty to add on 'stadium packs' for each league. Punishment for blatant quitters. Make defending more difficult, at the moment the tackles are too unrealistic. Allow slide tackles for use in blocking shots. 9/10 times if you slide infront of a player to block a shot (even if they make a shot) their run alwaylalalalas the sliding defender and a penalty or free kick is awarded even if an advantage has already occured. Improve the advantage system in general. It has so many flaws!

Whilst playing manager mode the game freezes whilst simulating the other matches. I am not the only one to have experienced this problem. According to the posts I have read EA seems to be doing little about it, why fix '09 for free when you can sell '10? Call me cynical but that's how it seems.
Anyhoo, whilst all us managers sit here in frustration it would be nice to know that the FIFA 10 development team are taking this issue seriously. I'm sure everyone can sympathise that after spending a considerable amount of time building and developing your team, to have the game effectively put a halt to your efforts is rather annoying to say the least. right to start with a lot of game play issues need to be sorted out; weather, kit numbers on created players, free-kicklalalalaing the posts and bar so often etc. On manager mode the transfer market should be re-thought as well because when a team buys a player e.g i sell ronaldo to real they don't actually put him in the team that is crazy!! You should be able to do player + cash deals and you should be able to see what the other teams are up to. You should be able to extend the stadium and have your own training ground for practising on and building up player abilities e.g practice heading and players have increased heading ability in the next games. These are just a few of my ideas I don't have time to write down all of them but I'm sure fifa 10 will be the best fifa yet.

Add songs to playlist Add club chants Being able to change squad numbers Pre-season Friendlies Better atmospheres in derby matches Training Modes More realistic fatigue (as players can play 30 games in a row in real life) Time wasting Tactic option Handball Referees make mistakes |

Just a few things that need fixing
1) on the harder difficulties the A.I is more likely to score free kicks this doesnt happen in real life better teams dont score every free kick 2) when you slide in to block a shot it is pretty much guarenteed to be handball. 3) Fans react to certain players eg. ronaldo is booed whilst on possesion. 4) Harder to win leagues eg. exeter shouldnt win legue 2, then 1, then champ, then prem. 5) more realistic transfers not sergio ramos to newcastle get a younger not as good player instead such as possebon 6) bookings for persistent fouling I fouled goalie about 15 times but didnt get booked 7) being told why you were booked eg. dangerous tackle, arguing with ref same with reds eg. foul and abusive language
