i think there should be a few changes.

keep the celebrations but make it you can run in the crowd or maybe even take your top off or even run over to your manager hug them or hug your players

i think in manager mode once your season is finished it would be good if you good edit your strips change there sponser and kit sponosrs and edit the strips and it would be good if there was better modes on manager mode

it would be brilliant if you could hear the ground better from away games like every team loves away games so get them singing causeing haddock in all sorts fights in the crowd and wen you scored the fans were going mental run out onto the park to jump on you.

1. I think the most important thing is night games in the champions league, or whatever you guys call it and leagues such as La Liga where the games are usually played in the evening. It would improve authenticity so much.
2. Secondly, money in manager mode. I really think you should get huge sums for winning the top leagues and competitions, particularly the premiership and the champions league. Currently you get small sums like 1.5 million which are just so unrealistic. It doesn't drive you to achive. Top 4 should get more money also and in fact anyone who gets a european place. Same for teams which get promoted. Incentive needs to be there and once the best players get really good, they are so expensive that you need that sort of money. Takeovers etc should happen as well but not neccessarily to your club. That would make the dynamics interesting.
3. I agree about the player rating sytem. It's impossible to get a player in the team of the year unless you play an incredibly boring passing game, or if they score goals every game. It's too unrealistic.
4. Shooting system has to be looked at, needs to flow more and show more variation, aesthetic difference between a placed shot and a power shot needs to be exhadurated, visually, at the moment you can scarcely tell the difference. Low shots fly low, what about shots that bounce a little, move both ways. It's very difficult to curl a ball with the inside of your boot which is one of the most common shots in football. You always seem to end up striking through it and then it ends up veering the other way...
5. I do really appreciate 09 and think its a fantastic game, please atleast consider my suggested changes.

We cant help but admit, but Fifa 09 was actually a good game. It was enjoyable to play and I think this year showed that EA sports Fifa, had truly left the Konami Pro Evo Soccer in its wake.

But I think I speak for many Fifa fans, that In "Fifa 10" we would like to see improvements made. So in this I look to break down points, in which I think would round of "Fifa 10".

Weather
Im sure last year, I wasnt the only Fifa fan scratching my head wondering why Fifa hadnt improved this aspect of the game. This is a must, especially when were not sitting behind Sega megadrives on antenna Televisions anymore. Surely with the power behind the Xbox 360 and PS3 console. So heres what I think needs to be done.

• Weather should be varied. I know I may hate rain, but im sick of playing all my matches in manager mode and cup modes in the beating sun. For Example: When playing an evening kick off match such as a European or League cup match. The match should start off in dawn, gradually as the match progresses so should the weather, gradually progressing into the night sky.
• In manager mode, weather should be in correlation to the time of season. We dont play premier-league football in december in the boiling sun. As in real life, the season should start off summer conditions then as the winter season progresses we see more overcast and rain conditions, possibly even snow. Then as the season commences to an end, the summer conditions gradually re-appear. This would be EXCELLENT.
• Weather should also have a link on the apperance of players. You dont see players running around in short sleeve, when its 6 degrees. Introduce the function of players adjusting to the type of season. For example in overcast, rainy and cold weather they wear gloves, longsleeve kits and under armour.

Pre-Game
Again, this can be improved. Alright ill take my hat off to EA for bringing in the Arena Mode. But again, surely I mean surely. More can be done to give the pre-game experiance more of a real life experiance.

• Before the match starts, cut scenes could be vastly improved. For example, show the team warming up prior to the match in training kits or bibs. Or show players in tunnel, shaking hands or warrioring each other on. Also, include captains using a mascot, and referees leading them out.
• In cup finals, Managers or mascots should be seen walking team out. Also, the cup being contested should be visible as teams walk onto pitch.
• Cut scenes, where fans are seen cheering.
• Possibly, which I think Fifa could introduce. Would be a team talk in the locker room, where your able to warrior team on. Therefore having an effect on their morale, leading to a boost in performance.
• Commentators, they NEED to give more information on the team. For example, recent form, in-form or out-form players managers and new signings. Also, they should give history about fomer matches between two teams.

In Match

• Managers, staff and substitues should be visible. Managers, should be visible on the touchline giving instructions to their team. Substitutes should be seen warming up on touchline, and just when you make a sub, them running to bench taking instructions taking off training bib.
• Substitutions need to be improved. In the fact that cut scenes NEED to be improved. Substitutes should interact with eachother, for example player coming off clapping to fans and teamates, then when coming off embracing the substitute and staff. When hes had a bad match, they should be seen with head down, or being in a mood. Then storming down tunnel etc.
• Weather should again have an effect on match. It should be harder for Ronaldo to leave Cole in a knot, when playing in the pouring rain.
• Again, players should be seen "getting dirty" or "sweating". When raining, mud should be visible on their kit and boots. When in warm conditions, players should be seen with their kits having sweat or face having sweat.
• Cut scenes, when the ball goes outve play. Example, team captains warrioring team on. Managers shouting intructions. Players giving eachother instructions. Or when struggling, players sighing or looking up to sky.
• Fans should be introduced to match better. Fans should boo when a opposition player scores. Fans, when in a tense situation singing at a loud level. Also there should be the introduction of flares, or cages and police escorts. Therefore, EA should work hard too bring in more official fan songs. Or the ability to upload them.
• Players should be seen disputing with match officials, or managers doing the same.

After Match

• Players seen shaking hands with officials, or swapping shirts.
• At cup finals. Their HAS to be a cup presentstion.

Manager Mode

• When you start, you should have the option of either continue as the current manager of that club. Or create a manager, having ability to modify his Name, to his apperance, to his mentality and manager type. Also having the ability to add his story, e.g. ex-professional player, or career cut short from injury.
• Ability to create a club and rise to top. E.g. with a starting budget having to buy players, training ground and staduim. Then gradually rising to top. Having ability to choose kit colours, badge sponsors etc.
• Better storylines. E.g. Player taking time off due to havign a new baby. Or players being caught having affairs, disputes between team members and players having missing training sessions.
• The training system. NEEDS to be improved. Use training drills. Dribbling drills, one-on-one drills, tackling drills and there you are able to improve player attributes.
• Injuries. These hardly happen, and they need to be imrpoved and made realistic. For example, broken metarsel instead off stubbed toe. More realistic lay offs, and ability to introduce him to reserve squad games.
• Ability to improve youth players.
• Introduce an edit mode, Fifa does not really take not about kit numbers and boots players wear. So we as players should be able to, adjust these according to real lide circumstances.
• Ability to create, or improve staduims. E.g banners, sponsorship boards, and fans seating types.

Apperance

• EA should also bring in their updates, the updates of latest boots etc.
• Ability to add tattoos to players.

Those are some of the things, I would like to see improved in Manger Mode.

I think that fifa 10 should be the same on all console types e.g. on playstation 3 it advertises the referee on the pitch, however on the ps2 it doesn't have that, so i was disapionted when I found that out.
Also I think there should be all international teams e.g. Kazakstan and India.
Also, on manager mode you should be able to manage international teams
You should also have more football boots to chose from on player creation mode
I also think that to improve there should be more crowd noises e.g. the fans sounding disapionted when a player misses or sounding as though they can't believe the player has just missed the goal etc
Also a good and funny thing to add would be streakers! Only for important matches.
you should also be able to see the manager and the fans reactions to things.
Another good element to add would be after match interviews where your manager and sometimes the players would be interviewed by some one and you get to chose what they say from a list of available options ( like on the newsreport you already have on fifa 09, but you should actualy hear and see the people).
There could also be pre match interviews
If you were to manage international teams it would be good if you could chose who will sing the national anthem, from a list of people.
Also in the finals of leagues and other competions you should be able to chose how the grass will be cut e.g. circles or squares etc. also you should get to chose the special event that would happen e.g. dancers coming out to start the night off.
Also there should be a new shot technique like the one eric cantona did when he floated the ball over the keeper.
you should also be able to nut meg people, facing backwards and forwards.
Also on player creation and edit mode there should be highlites to add into the hair. There should also be tattoos to chose from.

For some FIFA 10 improvements I would like:

The Teams-
1. Add some more international teams. Some good teams to add would be Middle Eastern ones like Iraq, Iran, Quatar, and more. Perhaps some more South American ones and African Teams.

2. Add some more legues like African legues and South American legues.

3. For the Classic Team I'm kind of sick of seeing the same players over and over. Maybe add some new players or a way to download new players like the likes of Maradona, Zidane, Pele and those who really do deserve to be in the Classic Xl

Weather System-First I think this is what needs to be adjusted and updated the most

1. I think there should be more diverse weather such as rain, snow, fog, cloudy, along with what we had before.

2. Add an in game date system like in Summer its sunnier and hotter. In winter more snow and fog. Also during Autumn more rain and cloudiness.

3. Make it so that during the game weather may change. (Also maybe even adding weather change while the time of day change could be good ex. a rainy dawn to a not rainy while still a wet field night.

4. Players need to react to the weather change. Such as wearing a beanie, gloves, long sleeved shirt, during snow. Make it short sleeve in sunny. Also during a rain allow slides to slide further, some players slipping, and the ball to stop in the middle of the pass in the rain.

Manager Mode-

1. In manager mode make it so that you can manage an internation team after finishing club season and vice versa.

2. Player Growth should be improved and it should give you a training place. Also add a scrimage session so that your reserves can get their stats up by playing the starters in a 45-60 min game. You can play as the reserves or starters.

3.TRANSFERS- Wow this is probably the main thing here. First make it realistic and make it so that teams have enough players to transfer because everytime I want to buy someone the other team doesn't ever seem to have enough players. Allow players in different clubs with an international relationship with your players in your club have more pursuation to join your team than any other average player. Also if a player is in a rival team make it harder for you to pursuade them to join your team.

4. After the game it should do more of those choices because there never seems to be enough and make it more like a story. Your decisions should really alter the team and bad decisions should have more consequence along with good decisions with more reward to boast your team.

5. Allow players to have a relationship with their teamates and make it so that if a player has a good relationship with one he plays better and herder with him over someone he doesn't.

Stuff that would make it more realistic-

1. Before the game when teams enters let the coach and the ref come with them along with kids next to each player.

2. Diversify the crowd, make it a mix of men, women, teens, and children.

3. Allow team captains to shake hands with each other and the ref and off we go!

Gameplay- Gonna make this into a 3 parts.

Part 1 Fakes

1.Add some new fakes
2.Allow megging
3.Make fakeshot fake the goalie and players

Part 2 Players and Goalkeeper

1. Make players smarter and run into better spots
2. Work on goalie saves and goalie positioning

Part 3 Throw Ins and Free Kicks

1. Allow your throw in to go further and be able to throw it into the box or to your golie.
2. For free kicks allow your wall to move and you decide when to make it jump. Also make free kicks harder.

Part 4 Celebration

1. Add some new ones like running into the crowd and more combinations to do better ones.
2. Please do not use the ones in Ultimate team because those are as unreal as it gets.

Overall im really looking forward to FIFA 10.

Ps. (add more recent legends in classic) and FIFA 09 was a 9 outa 10 for me (thats the best soccer game for me yet until FIFA 10 comes out I'm sure).

1) Career mode sponsers - You can pick more than just one Sponser (a main sponser and a primary one) this should be put on the team kit and should go around the stadium.

2) Career mode kits - Every new season you can change the kit slightly and change the colours and design of the away kit.

3) Kit Numbers - Im sick of signing a striker that has the number 2 on his shirt! Fifa 07 let you change kit numbers.

4) Take control of training - Make players try new set pieces, tactics and formations

5) Stadium up grades - Choose from scrolling sponser ship boards, corner seat, new lights or just a new lick of paint!

Do away with the game-play glitches... You've all probably read my rant and the glitches by far kill the quality of this game.

All the perks are fine and all the new & improved game modes are okay, but if you cant master the game-play, why would you try and add new game modes? I'll tell u why, because EA sports are just an American company who focus on money... as they should, because thats wot theyre in the business for - but at this point, with nex generation gaming, they should focus more on mastering the game play to maybe teach some of these kids how real football is played... sure some of them want an arcade-like Fifa, but those times have gone imo, and its time for an ultimate football game we can look to as a source of not only entertainment but knowledge and information. Nobody (substantial) cares about the fun-factor anymore... People care about how accurate the game is, and its only because of the high def gaming epidemic. Better graphics, better detail, faster loading, more abilities within game-play, etc .... Its all lead us to want the most realistic game, and you will notice all the BEST games on HD are the realistic ones... case in point: Call of Duty (which is obviously not made by EA)... Call of Duty as a shooter has everything and anything one would want out of a shooter... Realism, challenge, mission & amazing graphics/sound quality. Why cant Fifa have that? All of that...... Its why Fifa will only get stupid awards like "best sound track", because it lacks the key components...

I still find PES6 a BETTER game over-all just because it has everything i would want as a footballer, and everything i would want as a gamer as well... Fifa needs to focus more on the small things instead of acting like Pizza Hut, who (to you British who havent ventured to the states) is the worst Pizza chain i have seen, yet they've got the MOST variety of dishes/pizzas.... Why make so much variety when you cant even perfect the original product? Maybe its an American thing... The greed to money dominates the greed for perfection.

We'll see wot they do when PES finally decides they want to compete with EA's Fifa....Just ask yourself how PES manages to keep up, even WITHOUT all the licensing...? Game-play.....

take a hint EA... You've got money, USE it instead of flashing out on game covers, paying over-rated players astronomical contracts just to feature on a cover of a game which will be no better than a last generation PES game...

edit: to add - most of these "ideas/suggestions" are already featured in LAST GEN PES games! .... shows you how idiotic EA are when Konami can incorporate such things without licensing and a smaller budget.

1. In arena mode i think you shoiuld have the option to use the goalkeeper and have the choice to change the keeper rathrer than have what i supposed to be chris kirkland in the net.

2. There should be more nations like Ivory coast, ghana, japan, wales and netherlands if possible

3. when an injury occurs the camera should zoom in on the part of the body injured and give a brief overview of the injury e.g " knee ligament damage the player will not be able to return to the field of play" also a short cut scene would be nice where you coyuld see the player being ushered off the pitch or on a stretcher.
