Default offside

make sure that sometimes the assistant has flagged for offside but is miles on side so the players go and argue to the assistant

Default fifa 10 suggestions

I think that in fifa 10 you can:

sit on sidelins as managers actual visual view of how your players are playing.

if the player has injured someone or if u think the ref has made a wrong decision you can question him about it and either sway his mind or get a card for it.

i think you should be able to dive like in pro evo.

to make the really young players on the game actually look young and not like 30 years old.

Have more different colours to have as a created team.

That is it at the minute i will think of other ones soon

fifa should be all about user control over the game
not stats and lalalala u can do nothing about

its cool to be realistic for manager mode

but for people who want to compete online

it should be totally fair

with no advantages

like fifa clubs where everyone is like 80 overall

Why do we start at as a Reserve in Madrid or Inter Milan,

I think when you play BAP, you start at an academy at age 14 in Ajax, Hamburg, Sampdoria, Real Zaragoza, or Derby.

Then you should work your way up to a Reserve, then a reserve-sub, then first team. Finally you get bought by Sevilla, Tottenham, or Newcastle etc..

and Be A Pro should be like 14-15 years..You start from 14 to 32 or 33 when you retire

And you can choose whether to become a legend or not. Legend like C. Ronaldo, Messi, Ronaldinho, Henry or an average player like Peter Crouch, Pavylychenko, Bent, Defoe, Anelka, etc....

1.)In manager mode u should have more than 1 sponsors, You should have the real sponsors like CHELSEA has: Samsung, Adidas, Etihad, EA, Thomas & Cook, Viagogo, Heineken, Ladbroke’s, GATORADE, Pepsi, Giorgio Armani and so on.
2.) Get championship league, UEFA, CONCACAF, ETC..LICENSE because PES 2009 has it.
3.) Real stadiums instead of something like Aloha Park…Hawaii doesn’t even have a soccer team.
4.) Make it like a real soccer game, imean chelsea can’t beat Man Utd. 7-1…what..that just crazy
5.) Create-a-team, Create-a-League, Create-a-Stadiem…Be able to upload a photo of yourself when you create-a-player, because u can do that in PES 2009, Make it very challenging to score…
6.) create a manager avatar or choose, choose more than one sponsor to support u..maybe like five sponsors. The owner of the team could give u money…or you can get a loan from a team and pay them back little buy little if you really want a special player.
7.) Make a player in be a pro with like 10-15 seasons…where u can buy cars, go to clubs, etc…make it like a real players life in football and out of football…
MORE LEAGUES AND TEAMS..
8.) Be able to use or create different kits each year…cause it would be like 2012 and your using kits form 2008-2009..edit AWAY and ALTERNATE Kits..but U CAn’t edit home kits.
9.)In Be-A-Pro, You should be able to buy estates, buy cars, change hair style, get hair cuts, Go party, Train with team. Better training for freekick, Be a pro from age 17 or 18 or maybe even 16 to 34-37.
10.) You can choose to be a goal keeper, get awards, see agent, talk to manager, Talk to scouts wo want to. Discuss your place in the team with Manager if you are a Reserve. Make scoring harder.
11.) One on One training with a coach, Instead of getting expierience to build up player, Training builds you up. You can be able to go on Loans for 1 month to 2years.
12.) Go on loans if You Play For Barca', Go play for MLS or Charlton Athletic for a little while.
13.)In BAP, you should be in an Academy. Start your player from 13 years old in academy, Get scouted at 16 year By Ajax, Or Hamburg, or Bayer Leverkusen. Play with them for 5 years. Get Bought by Sevilla, play for 2 years, Then het bought buy a Giant or a Team like Lyon, Tottenham, Celtic, Vilareal, Aston Villa.

14.) This should be a big one. You should be able to gain weight and this would affect your skills or lose weight and get muscles to handle defense like Tevez.

15.)In Be A Pro, you should start at an Academy like I said in my earlier post.

16.) In PES, The Gameplay is so good. It Feels like real soccer. I would know because I bought Pes 2009 and Fifa but PES has graphics from Last Gen LIKe its on GAMECUBE or something. I mean, Come on Its a PS3. Wat's wrong with those fellas in JAPAN.

17.)Make it seem like real football, if you watch a Video of PES 2009 on Youtube, it looks like real football because of its gameplay

18.) Imagine this, Your in a club and Fifa 09 is the hot blonde looking at you with Pes 2009 which is an Ugly lalalalala girl. But you take PES or the ugly girl home and You see she is A beast in bed. She makes up positions you've never thought was possible.(Sorry too perverted, but its true)

19.) The 4th one is perverted but its true, i mean Leeds UTD can beat Barca' 6-0 and your playing on Professional setting. In Pes, I play on Semi-Pro which is kinda of hard but fun. If Chelsea was playing Stoke, it would end as 3-0, or 2-1 or something like that, maybe even 1-0 o 1-1

20.) I really like FIFA 09, and it has great online features but they could use tweaking.

21.) The should also tweak gameplay and make it real soccer. Maybe they should steal some ideas from PES or something

22.) In Be-a Pro you should not be always expected to score. So you create a player at 13 or 14 yrs old. Then you start at the Academy on the team. They could also show other young players in the academy, and you play and train with them. While you are In the Academy, You could Be in in an MLS academy or FC Volendam academy in the NEDERLANDS. You play against fake team for as long as you want Max would be 4.

So then you are 16, and you get your First Contract from Adidas or Puma, Or Nike. They will sponsor you until retirement. You make it into FC Volendam reserve team. You can be with them from like September to January. Then you go on a loan or you get transfered to Charlton Athletic or Swansea City. You have enough money to rent property or an Apartment. You can customize it.

You stay with Swansea City until your 18 and you get bought by Hull City. You stay with them until 21 or as long as you want. You finally have enough money to buy property but not that big. while at Hull city you are a Sub. You train with the team,(while you train, you have your own coach and you could see other players with coaches. You can go weight lift if you want too.) You could also buy clothes, buy cars, get hair cuts, Go traveling to Barcelona and watch Barca' in action. Renew contract with Puma or get new contract with NiKE.

Then when you are 20, you go to Tottenham for 5-6 years or as long as you want. This continues, until you retire at 34 or 35. *Maybe more features with buying cars, clothes or an y other things*.

23.)More AI in the transfer window...And I don't know why but in my MM

REal Madrid bought Karim Benzema, and Diego Ribas Da Cunha(Werder Bremen)

Default unlock

on fifa 10 you should be able to unlock

classic strips
classic stadiums ie Highbury,Old Wembley
classic footballs ie European Championship,World Cup,FA,cup
i think to add a wee bit of realism to the game you should get every single stadium.
make sure theres more celebrations ie taking shirt off, running in crowd, celebrating with coaching staff and subs
classic clubs and countries jst like PES

1. Change numbers in manager mode (mm)
2. Euro matches in mm to be played at night, doesnt make any sense during the day
3. When you win a trophy, see the team holding it and such
4. Longer time for transfer at the beginning of the season
5. Fix the player development. At the moment, other players only change at the end of the season, so if you sign someone in january, you only get half a seasons worth of player growth for that season
6. I like the anger meter idea
7. More/ infinite points when you create a player
8. If possible, more boots for player creation
9. Edit any aspect of a player
10. Maybe be able to change your kit in manager mode because after a while, it does get boring. Also, you should be able to add your current sponser to your kit.

You should be able to "organize" the players at offensive and defensive corners.
Ex. if you are Boro, you´d like to put Huth, Wheater and Pogatetz in the box when you have a offensive corner, but you cant.
And if you are Man City and you have a defensive corner, and Hart gets the ball, you´d want Ireland, Robinho and SWP to be around the halfway line so you can throw/kick the ball to them, and then counter-attack and possibly score (City are really good at this IRL too).

don't know if its been said but more realistic player growth. for example rafael da silva is a 67 and will not get better unless you play him all the time, and doesn't get better unless he's on your team. players in their mid 30's should not be getting better every year, their stats should decrease a lot.

Sorry forgot something...

I'd really like ranked games that end as a draw not have to go to penalties, instead I'd like to see this as an option, with the possiablity to end as a draw, replay, or pens. Please visit this thread to see details and vote in the poll: Penalty shootouts!

More soccer boots, players slip and all on wet fields or something. players able to dive or fake fall to get rewarded with free kick or pk. when the player(s) are getting substituted, more commentary names / audio. I noticed a lot are missing. For example, no Lampard on the commentary list, etc ...

Default Fifa 10

. I think the apperance of the fans should be more detailed eg. see the fans shouting and jumping in joy...
. When a player is injured medics should run on and carry the player off on a stretcher.
. The tackling should be more intense and the players should be more angry.
. All the blue square premier and the welsh premier teams should be displayed in fifa 10 aswell.
. It should show more of the managers faces and actions during gameplay.
. The graphics are immense no need to change them..
. There should be different kinds of weather you can select like snow, sleet, heavy rain etc.
. Derby matches like man utd v liverpool should be really intense build up etc.
. It should make the stadiums up to date and exact to real teams stadiums.

I cant wait for fifa 10 going to be a great game cant wait to see what new upgrades the game has.

One more point, in MM, when you upgrade your stadium in staff upgrades, the stadium should get biggger

or

You should have the ability to buy a new, much bigger stadium

I just think it's bad that when you turn a rubbish team into european champions, they still have the same crummy stadium as before.

Default Much needed Changes for Fifa 10

Leagues

Add the World Cup and Champions League to the list of playable leagues/cups

Add more leagues e.g Russian, Swiss, Mexican, Argentinean, Brazilian, Chilean, Portuguese Segunda etc

Get rights for the Holland national team

Layout/Presentation

Improve the menu system

So when selecting teams for a custom tournament rather than having to pick each team individually have a list of the teams in each league and allow the user to just tick the boxes adjacent to the team to select them i.e Fifa 99

AND like someone said earlier include a filter to allow the user to pick teams based on various factors for example:

International Teams: Yes/No
Rating: 5*/4*/3*/2*/1* only/and above/and below
Countries: *Manually Select*/Major/ Europe/N. America/S America/Asia
Leagues: *Manually Select*/Major leagues
Limit (No. of teams from each country): None/*Manually Select*
Champions Only: Yes/No

So for example:

International Teams: No
Rating: 5* only
Countries: England, France, Italy, Germany, Spain
Leagues: All
Limit: 4
Champions Only: No

Gameplay

Improve dribbling, its very frustrating how it is so hard to cut in with wingers, the players are incapable of doing quick turns fix this.

Improve the responsiveness of players to give the user more control over what the player is able to do.

Allow the more skillful players to do quick flicks as soon as they get the ball to create space or make a pass; flicks such as 'dinks', chops, acrobatic kicks (see Zlatan Ibrahimovich)

Improve the Corners they are way too slow the ball takes too long to reach the area. Include a way of allowing runners to get into the box maybe pressing a button triggers a player to run to the Near post/Far post/Centre and then the cross from the corner could be placed to wherever desired.

Improve Shooting Allow the player to make very low, hard shots and shots that make the ball deliberately bounce in front of the keeper.

Improve free kicks allow the player to curl free kicks or hit the ball underneath the wall ala Ronaldinho. Allow the player to move the wall from side to side and tell them to edge towards the taker.

Improve the keepers They react only to one save, when they parry a save they go straight back to the centre of the goal rather than trying to remove the threat, sometimes they parry it straight to the opposing player. They should be capable of making multiple saves.

Improve Crossing So you can do a low cross along the floor with pace.

Tactics

Allow players to choose who attacks what area of a corner for example:

Set Terry to attack near post/Far post/Centre/Deep/Challenge Keeper/Lurk outside box/Offer Short Option/Stay Back

Graphics/Animations

Variable Weather conditions
Variable pitch conditions
Managers and subs bench visible
Animate player substitutions: for example players shake hands when coming off/pat on the back; players who did not want to be substituted shaking their head looking angry.
Mud, blood, water visible on players.

Authentic Competitions - Champions' League/UEFA CUP/FA Cup/Carling Cup/African Cup of Nations. Fair enough you probably won't put in the World Cup as you will probably make a separate game for 2010 World Cup and every other for that matter. And the same for the Euros. But you should atleast get licenses for the above mentioned; as you do not create separate games for these competitions. PES 2009 already has a license for Champions' League rights. So if FIFA 10 had this and the others above, then it would have a further edge over authenticity against PES.

More stadiums - There should be atleast the top 15 stadiums in the major leagues (Premier League, La Liga, Serie A). It is very boring playing in the same stadium game after game. Therefore, more would make it more interesting. Created stadiums (Town Park, Ivy Lane, etc.) could be used for lower league teams and teams from less popular leagues.

When the EA Sports badge flashes up to indicate the forthcoming of a replay/sub/booking - you should have a badge of the competition of which you are playing. So, for example, if you happen to be playing Man Utd v Chelsea the Premier League badge shows up. If you are playing Barca v Real Madrid the La Liga badge shows up. Or if you are playing a Champions' League match the iconic Champions' League badge shows up. And so on...

FA Cup Replays - As mentioned by others before. You should have replays if a stalemate occurs in the first meeting.

Dynamic Weather - The weather should change: snow, rain, cloud. And the effects of these weather types should be shown: different light effects on the pitch; soggy grass (water splashes under the players' feet). You could even have lightening or thunder on occasion, particularly in tropical regions.

Night matches - In the Premier League, there are often matches which kick off at 2000 GMT. So maybe this should be added to give a more authentic feel. Also a lot of La Liga matches kick off during the evening (due to Spanish culture) this may also be considered.

Goal Replays - Favourite goals scored in the arena and during matches should be able to be saved to HDD. A definite!

Ref decisions - The ref shouldn't just pull out a card when a foul is committed. The ref should, most of the time, be seen giving the player a warning before producing a card. This idea should only be broken if the foul is blatant: tackle from behind; tackling a man off the ball; foul in the box.
Also, the advantage rule should be fixed. It is extremely frustrating when you find your striker with an amazing through-ball and the ref just blows the whistle because the ball has gone past the half-way line. Half-time or full-time should be signalled if the ball is put out of play or if the ball is just being passed around in a small area: NOT WHEN THERE IS A HUGE THROUGH-BALL WHICH FINDS A STRIKER THAT IS ONE-ON-ONE WITH THE KEEPER.

Better clothing graphics - You should be able to see the effects of mud and rain on players' clothes (shirts, shorts, socks included). And it should look realistic - not just a mud splat on their shirt. Mud should only really accumulate on the part of the player's clothes which have made contact with the ground (either if they have: fallen over due to being tackled or made a slide-tackle). These effects should be more visible if the ground is wet.

Injuries - If a player is badly injured, there should be a cinematic of the player being carried off by a stretcher. Or if the player is quite badly injured, the player should limp off the pitch - possibly with assistance from a team medic.

Advertising boards - There should be more advertisements from real-world companies than just having 'FIFA' written on. Hardly any boards in real stadiums have 'FIFA'. Also, you could have them electronic as most are nowadays (LED lights). They could maybe be changed through online updates. For example, if Old Trafford has a new 'Gillette' ad board, then you could put that in.

Visible subs bench - You could have a cinematic of the subs bench and the manager. And you can even see your subs watching the game or chatting to each other while seated in the dug-out. And also they wear big jackets for during winter with the team crest on it. Or during other seasons, you just see them wearing training gear. You could even have a cinematic when a player is being subbed on (he pulls off his training gear and stands next to the 4th official while the sign indicates the number of shirt for the players being subbed on and off). Also you can see the players and manager sitting in leather racing seats in the dug-out (like Recaro racing seats in Old Trafford).

Create a manager - You should be able to make a manager. The manager could be created using the same edit system as for players. And you can see the manager in cinematics as said earlier.

Improved commentating - There should be more commentating phrases than just the old ones which have been recycled from as early as FIFA '06 and '07. The commentators should also mention the two teams names throughout the game. And also be fully aware of the teams positions in the league or group table before the match. The commentators should be fully able to mention most of the names of the players in the game when the ball is passed to them on occasion. The commentators don't seem like they are actually watching a game - you could take phrases from commentating of real-life matches possibly.

Authentic Goal Celebrations - There should be signature goal celebrations: like pressing Left Stick/L3 and that triggers an authentic celebration from well-known players (Martins - cart-wheel and backflips; Totti - sucking his thumb; Anelka - making a butterfly with his hands; Cahill - punches the corner flag; Gutierrez - puts on a spider-man mask)

Online Spectator Mode - You should be able to view friend's online games if the game is already in progress/occupied. So then you can watch it and chat about it with them during a party, for example.

Better Trophy Presentation - When you win a league or cup trophy, the winning team should be seen walking up on a platform collecting their winners' medals and the trophy. And when the trophy is lifted by the captain of the squad, confetti of the team colours should explode out behind them and the fans can be heard cheering along with the players. This makes it seem worthwhile for winning a cup and gives you a sense of achievement. It also adds to the authenticity of the game - making it all the more real!

Better player graphics - The players' faces look pretty good on FIFA 09. But, they could be better still. You could use UCAP technology on some of the top players in the world - possibly around 10, as it is time consuming - to make the faces even more realistic. It has already been used in the Tiger Woods' franchise and the results are amazing. Using this technology will keep the edge over PES 2010 for sure! (see Robert Luketic on UCAP technology here).

More Footballs and Boots - There should be a greater selection of footballs and football boots. And the selection could be updated through 'adidas Live Season'. Then, you could update which players are wearing which boots as this changes during a season. For example, currently in-game Cristiano Ronaldo wears these boots. But in reality he wears these.

Default Manager Mode

Some times you play important games in manager mode which relies on other results in the league. You should be able to either,

1 - Have score updates whilst playing
2 - Option to view highlights of a match (not knowing the score before hand obviously)
