1. Weather Conditions- Sun, Rain, Snow, Cloud, Fog. ETC. Depends on the season. EG: Winter-Snow, Rain, Fog. ETC
2. Injured Players more realistic- carried of on a stretcher. Better and longer injuries. Not out for 4 days but 4 months or a couple of weeks. 3. Subsitutes more realistic- Angry, Happy. ETC 3. Subsitutes interact with each other, manager, other staff. 4. Fourth Official holds up board for Subs and Injury Time. 5. See Managers and other staff while playing the game shouting on the sidelines. 6. Players pulling shirts on corners and free-kicks. 7. Have Aston Villa, Tottenham and Evertons Stadiums. 8. Fans sit in the right stand at stadium. EG: Shed End Lower for away fans at Chelsea FC, not top right. 9. Have new leagues. EG: Russian League. 10. Netherlands International Team should be licenced and other International teams. 11. Get rights for Champions League and Uefa Cup back off Konami. 12. Edit Kit number ins Manager Mode. 13. Quick Free-Kicks. 14. Subs warming up at half-time and on the sidelines. 15. Choose who goes up on corners and free-kicks. EG: John Terry not Ashley Cole or someone smaller. 16. Night Games for Champions League and Midweek Games. 17. Not all games on a Saturday or Sunday but change it around like Midweek. 18. In Manager Mode Chelsea shouldnt finish 11th and Hull shouldnt finish 2nd. Make it more realistic. 19. Days should be simulated day by day instead of game by game, so the manager can have more time in transfer windows and to change formations and train team and so on. 20. Teams should be more interactive with transfer windows, should have an in-box with offers and other managers comments and rumors. 21. After 5 yellow cards in a season the player should be banned for 3 matches. 22. Red Cards are a three match ban. 23. In Manager Mode they other teams should buy decent people not unknown players who are rubbish. EG: Chelsea shouldnt buy Gilberto Silva but should buy someone like Zhirkov. Hopefully you will take this on with consideration and make FIFA 10 the best its ever been.

Just a few idea here, some of these have probably already been said and they cover both graphic and gameplay.
1. Get rid of / rectify the outside boot through balls. They're impossible to stop, and are exploited too often. 2. Look into improving the player 'lock on' feature. Often, the player I'm playing as on clubs gets drawn to the ball, despite there being one of my team mates in a much better position, and closer to the ball. 3. Improve lofted through balls. A through ball is meant for my player to run onto, not run ahead of and then run backwards until the ball reaches him. 4. More options at penalty kicks. At the moment, the penalty kicks seem pretty limited. More options, such as chipped penalties to the left / right, 'gravy legs' goalkeepers (other than Dudek), stuttering run ups, etc 5. Revision of the advantage rule. Often the little yellow advantage symbol appears, then disappears and several seconds later the advantage is still being played, and my opponent wins a free kic. In essence, keep the icon visible for longer, or shorten the advantage period 6. Crossbar challenge option. Seriously, it would be one of the best game modes ever ![]() More to come later

Should make manager mode more in depth:
1. Should be able to have manager mode with more then 1 player and also online. 2. Team Salary should be updated with patches and such 3. Should be able to Interact with the media, such as attend conferences answer a few questions about the team and transfer rumors and such. 4. Days should be simulated day by day instead of game by game, so the manager can have more time in transfer windows and to change formations and train team and so on. 5. Champions league would be spectacular. 6. Teams should be more interactive with transfer windows, should have an in-box with offers and other managers comments and rumors. 7. Players should get upset, ask for more money and request transfers depending on how bad your season is going or how you treat them on the team. 8. Player salary’s and Transfer costs should be realistic, and also Team transfer budget and salary budget should be realistic. 9. When winning the league or a cup, Their should be a cut scene of your team celebrating, taking pictures with the media, players having interviews and such on the field fans going crazy, and possibly an after match conference with the manager. 10. Last but not least. You should be able to see your under 21 and under 18 Reserves and call them up if needed. And also have assistance to ask for formations and advice, and even coaching staff, And be able to buy new scouts and such. Game play: 1. Should have rain, hail, snow.. such as the Euro 2008 game, which made Passing and controlling the ball more realistic. (ex. Ball would slow down when going through puddles of water) 2. Their should be cases when you pass back to your goalie and he picks up the ball, resulting in an inside the box free kick..( rarely but it should happen.) 3. When doing skills such as flip flap, scissors and so on… It shouldn’t be done flawlessly every time by almost every player in the game.. 4. Passing should go exactly where aimed instead of sometimes going to the wrong person when clearly aiming somewhere else. 5. Their should be some sort of modifier button to shoot the ball along the ground.. ( With obviously some failure rate such *** when running faster and such ball wont always trail along the ground or go where you want it to,) 6. Stadium chants should be loud and try to make the chants the actual chants from real life if possible. 7. If possible to do, make cut scenes actual game play such as in between whistles for throw ins, corners and free kick set ups, to make the the game feel more realistic and to help it flow better. 8. I have had cases where i trip a player and no contact was made Ref should be able to call diving when needed and hand out yellow cards at times. 9. Players should get frustrated if not preforming well and have arguments with the ref and such and possibly lose their cool which leads to cards or getting sent off, rarely but it should happen. 10. Hand balls should be called most of the time depending on where the linesman or ref is standing. And last of all the 1 thing that would make Fifa 10 the greatest game of all time: JOHN CHAMPION AS THE COMMENTATOR Thanks for your time, hope the suggestions get listened to. |

lots of good ideas in here.
here is my input: Realistic Ref AI: alot of times, in '09 the ref doesnt give an advantage when he should (as if its some sort of glitch)... Why not enable the ref to make realistic decisions and take realistic actions.. dont need to say more about this im sure everyone knows what i am speaking of. Realistic/Logical dribbling: Dribbling shouldn't be as generic as it is in '09. It seems that my fingers react faster than the flippin character in the game, thus there cant be 100% control of the character. Give the human player 100% control of what the character in the game does and possibly implement logical dribbling controls which can be on command (somewhat like Fight Night 3 & 4, as there are set configurations for specific punches.) This way, the human player can not complain when the character in the game loses the ball due to a bad dribble. The only time I have full control whilst dribbling is when i simply go around a defender whilst sprinting, but there is no real command of doing specific dribbling touches. Improved MM: MM is quite good thus far, but there are some missing components such as player factors. Players should have more factors than just fitness, morale or ability. Emotional status should be the root of how the player performs for the club in which, the more he starts/or plays the better chemistry he will have with the starting 11. This should inturn effect his transfer desires - in '09 there is never a time when a player wants to leave the club and it seems there are not enough contingencies in the game of MM to make it as realistic as it should be. I think the "be a pro" and MM modes should be very much similar as in players get popularity ratings, players go on international duties, etc. Managers should have much more responsibility in which, stadium management should be more than just upgrading the staff (with no visual difference) - one should be able to hire 3rd party contractors to referbush the stadium, change color themes, add press boxes, add alcohol varieties, and have control over anything which can contribute to income. If Electronic Arts can do so much with "The Sims", im quite positive they can improve Fifa just as well. Managers should also be responsible to club vehicles, luxury coaches, private plans, etc... Those are costs/liabilities to the club which the manager should have to take into account in the game. Managers should have to hire a plethora of staff as well - it shouldnt be as easy as '09 makes it out to be... Hiring various coaches, fitness trainers, sports pshycs, and promotion managers should have all been incorporated in '09. The only things one has full control over in '09 MM is formations, squads, custom tactics and i suppose wins/losses and imo there is much more to managing a club. Lastly, training should be more focused than it is in '09. like PES, fifa should allow training matches in MM, and the manager should be able to mix and match players to see/feel the best sequence of attack, counter attack and defense. I remember playing PES6 master league (MM), and i spent more time playing training matches just because i was able to challenge my reserves properly, instead of just occationally playing them, and resting them most of the time and relying on experience points for improvement, as done in Fifa. Experience points are necessary, but skill points shouldnt really be based on the same criteria, especially if proper training can take place. --- I liked someone's idea of creating your own club, but i would only like it if it were full-fledged as in, one would have to start off with 10 employees and start of renting a pitch to call home, then rent an office in whichever major city, which would determine the name of the club. For example: I start mine, and im based in London - the game would allow me to choose from each burough, and i choose Islington: the game then gives me several office options (obviously make believe offices), and i pick one to either buy or rent. I house my 10 employees in the office and we start business by first, locating a local pitch to call our home pitch (obviously make believe pitches, but realistic features.) once we have covered those expenses we hire a scout to track local talent, or a more expensive scout to locate nationwide talent/international talent. We start off with 15 players for example, and contract with puma (or nike, or addidas, or diadora, etc) to design our kits. Ofcourse the human player would customize the design/colors/texture, but it would be nice to see the brand name on the custom product. The same would go for sponsors - once a sponsor is chosen, the manager would decide where the logo is placed upon the kit. At any rate, we build our way up by winning local league titles and inturn acquiring investment to build the club into a competitive League 2 club... we'd work our way into the epl respectively. That could be one option of the "create franchise/club" mode - the other option being, where you start with more capital to avoid the long tedious process of building from stratch.

Few things that should happen in FIFA10
-Whenver my opponent does a chipped through ball to play his striker in, my defender just suddenly stops as if he wants the strikers to score.. fix this it can really be akward. -expand the arena! I think this is a great addition to fifa so make it sort of like the training arena on previous fifa's, make it so you can practice freekicks against a wall or corners against defeners. Also, it would be awesome if you could invite your friends to your own arena and have a mess around. This would be were creating an arena would come useful. -expand on fifa clubs! There brilliant and I'm in a div 1 team. Make the dressing room more alive, it would be awesome if the dressing room itself was a like an arena, so whoever was inside could play around while waiting to start a game. -indoor 5 a side! This would be brilliant thinking about it. I remember this on fifa 97 or 98 and playing against the computer was so fun imagine it 12-13 years later wow. -include UT with fifa10 even if its boosting the buy price of fifa. |

I believe they should be a training mode in fifa 10, you should also be able to pick your goalkeeper in the arena. And when you play 10 vs 10 and your not playing a league, the match should go to extra time and penalties. They should also have ultimate team free, and maybe if have like crossbar challenge. 1 and 2 man Knockouts will also be a fun addition, also be have like challenge mode in training mode where you have to dribble around corner a certain number of times like they use to have in pes 4.

Few ideas i thought of:
-Substitute's, see them warming up on side of pitch -Play offs (might exist already, not sure) -During Transfer market, you should be able to use money+a player to bid for another player. For example, if your managing Man u. You should be able to bid rooney+10m for messi or something. -During manager mode, say when you get to your 3rd season or something. new shirt sponsors should come and try to sponsor you. For example at the moment man u's current sponsor is AIG, perhaps the season after Samsung might come and try and sponsor you. -Chairman mode (possibly a stupid idea) When you first start, a list of managers come and apply for the job of your desired club. As the chairman you choose who gets it. During transfer season the manager comes to you and gives a list of players who he would be interested in buying and you can agree/disagree. You should be able to play the matches but not control the managers jobs of team managment/tactics etc. Last edited by Tangislegend; 16-05-2009 at 05:14 PM.. |

I would bet on 2-4 things getting put in this game such as weather, slightly improved manager mode, one or two leagues tweaked graphics. Fifa10 is going to be awfully plain just like 09 is.

1. Better weather conditions with mud and stuff.
2. Russian league. 3. Messi and Kaka on the cover. 4. More realistic stadiums. 5. better injuries, like stretchers and stuff. 6. Edit Kit Number!!!! 7. Get rights to Uefa Champions League, your a big company, it cant be that hard! 8. see managers on the sidelines whilst playing. 9. very realistic subs, eg. fourth official, players happy, angry etc. 10. definatly should be able to dive, and get punished if dont do it right. 11. much more intellegent commentary, they talk rubbish half the time! lol |

[quote=Cobalt_pSp;6616549]2.) Get championship league, UEFA, CONCACAF, ETC..LICENSE because PES 2009 has it.
You just said it yourself, EA aren't gonna get license from UEFA because PES beat them to it - But yeah you're right, it's a nice thought. |

1. I do think that the long throw for e.g Delap, should be added to the game this is because this could be an advantage to the average teams and they could benfit from a goal.
2.Also in the manager mode they should add thier own version of Match of the day for e.g Goal of the week and show all the goals. 3.in manager mode managers should have to go to press conferences like real life ones and answer to the media. 4. More Stadiums should be added to make it more fun than always playing in the same arena for e.g old trafford. Stadiums like Villa Park , Goodison Park , Upton Park Craven Cottage and so on .This will make the matches more interesting. 5.weather conditions should be adjusted to the type of seaon for example in December Snow or fog should be added to the match. 6.to be able to see the Managers on the pitch side when substitutes are happeing and when a goal is scored to see them cheering. 7. Fans should be like more realistic like booing an ex player and when the goalkeeper goes to take a goal kick try and put him of by going ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh then cheering. 8. On match day thier should be like a short glimpe of the chairman sitting in the crowd. 9.Champions league matches should be played at night and the anthem of that should be played. 10.IN be a pro mode Players should start of playing for a sunday league team and progress if they are good enough to fit the bill. 11.After 5 yellow cards in a season the player shoudl be banned for 3 matches. 12.Pre season tours of a particular country. for e.g France and play teams like Monaco, marseillem,Lyon etc |

Just adding to my be a pro renovation idea, I believe that in create a pro you don't just walk on to Manchester United's starting XI (Ya right! lol). Most professionals start off in the slums playing 5's or on school teams. If the professional teams were able to send scouts out to these sorts of events in fifa 10, then your pro would be spotted and asked to have a trial with that pro team. Then in training you can prove what game you have to the manager and see if he is willing to sign you, thereafter. This would add so much more authenticity, and would make a simple game mode more engaging and interesting. While you are trying to catch the eye of a pro team you are living the life of poverty but this part of the game would be focused on playing, until you got to the big stage, where they would focus on what i stated in my previous rant about BAP (pg.24).
Thanks EA Please take my ideas into consideration. I believe that they would change the game for the better, along with everyone else's (I don't know if you have noticed but everybody's ideas are very similar, which would only suggest that the game is noticeably lacking in what your customers want) |

Don't know if this has been said but when you loan a player out his stars should improve.the stars of other players at other teams should also improve.goalkeepers should also get booked and sent off.also how bout CPU controlled set pieces.

1. The ball should dip more from long shots, sometimes it just seems to carry with the wind and dips once it's already gone over.
2. Goalkeepers should be better e.g better positioning, sometimes if the goalie has just got up from making a save, a striker will make a weak header towards goal and the goalie will watch it dribble 2 yards away from him. 3. Goalies with bad handling should drop sone high balls from a corner etc. 4. Long throws would be good. Rory Delap's long throw's rating would be like 97! 5. There should be an option for if you have a free kick about 35 yards out, you should be able to let the computer cross the ball into the box allowing you to position your players in the box. 6. The commentators need to cut out their mistakes. e.g when a defender heads the ball back to his goalie: "thats a good save to deny the opposition". something like that anyway. 7. Players like Messi should be able to take on a number of players in a tight space. In real life, the ball sticks to Messi's feet, skilful players should be able to shift the ball from 1 foot to the other. 8. Handballs should be brought back. |

Dont know if anybody hasd added this but i fort i wud let u know that on wikipedia it says fifa has annouced there will be a create a club mode here is whatit says fully
FIFA 2010 is the next installment in the association football game in the FIFA series developed by EA Sports. It was announced on April 24, 2009. It will include exciting new features such as 'create a club mode' - Where the player gets to create a whole club from scratch, including the stadium, the kits and the badge. They will also choose their own staff (which, for the first time in FIFA, will be real world staff members) and players, whilst dealing with the sponsorships and financial side of running the club. It is also a rumour that FIFA 10 will contain a vaster, more in-depth manager mode season. [1] Producer David Rutter confirmed FIFA 10 will contain all of the Premier League stadiums.
i would like to day if they have actually confimred this then well done they must be lisnin to the fans are saying

there are many improvements that fifa 10 could have and maybe should have on MM and online, these are:
Better transfer system on MM and takeovers - All teams on MM on fifa 09 keep the same team for like 6 seasons straight which is really boring because you are playing the same team season in season out! Teams such as Liverpool, Chelsea and man utd should buy at least one big name player every season (also potential superstars like Arsenal do and turn out to be world class in like the 6th season) and keep updating the squad and throwing them into the starting 11 straight away rather than coming on as a sub in the 85th minute with somebody like Ibrahimovic wearing the number 2 shirt!! Also smaller teams such as stoke would maybe buy lesser known players from other leagues such as danish leagues or maybe the championship. I also think that the transfers should be frequent and realistic bids should come in for players rather than ridiculous £27,000,000 offers from crystal palace to sign steven gerrard or a £11,000,000 price tag on torres on the transfer list when hes clearly worth 4 times that amount. MM should also have a takeover feature which allows maybe a financially strapped club such as everton who do well each season but yet dont get recognition for it, this would allow more competitiveness in each league making it more realistic and authentic, also maybe allowing teams who over spend to go into debt and maybe administration. Longer + realistic injury lay-offs - MM has a weird injury system as players who get hacked from behind and roll round injured then after the match you get an email saying this player will be out for 1 week with a dislocated finger is quite unrealistic, fifa should introduce a ragdoll type system which means that if a player lands awkwardly or gets tackled from different angles then that part of the body will be affect for example, if a player is tackled from behind then they may be ruled out for 4 or 5 months with an achilles tendon injury or if they land on their shoulder after challenging for a header then they may be out for 3 months with dislocation depending on the strength level of the player e.g. walcott would be more likely to get the injury than didier drogba. I think this would add more realism to the game and allow for squad rotation which does happen. Improved player + team chemistry - I think fifa 10 should have a player chemistry feature which would allow new players to have to take time to gel into a team rather than automatically fitting in to a role, players such like gerrard and torres who make a good partnership would be ok because they have played in the same team for a couple of seasons, i mean players from abroad who have not settled should take time to settle in by use of a meter similar to the morale meter. this would then determine the form of that player and how well they will be able to work with the team. Also, their ability to work with another player for example if they were playing with a brand new strike partner then they would have to have different qualities in order to work together otherwise it would affect the balance of the team and the way that fits their style. quicker dribbling and better man movement - i feel that fifa 09 does not have quick enough dribbling or man movement compared to real life as teams such as barcelona make quick movements when they have passed in order for their play to flow, i dont fifa carries this attribute well as barcelona on fifa pass then just stand their unless they have the assistance of the 1-2. i think it make the game more realistic if the custom tactics assign a man movement feature which allows the players to move and create space for the team instead of standing there like a lemon waiting for the ball. players also do not make turns quick enough and there are no multiple stepovers making cristiano looking like sami hyypia on the ball which is unrealistic to that of real life football, turns and stepovers should be made quicker allowing players with higher dribbling and ball control ratings to carry out all skills rather than just the big name players like ibrahimovic and robinho to do all the showboating Advanced CPU AI - I think that MM should have a feature which allows teams in the league to adapt to the way your team plays allowing for the gameplay to become more challenging as the season goes on, maybe 4 star or 4 1/2 star teams will eventually work out how to adopt to the system that your team has been set out allowing the CPU team to find away around it and defend better making the gameplay realistic and challenging, where lower teams may find it more difficult because of they players they have. Team such as chelsea may find it easier because they have the quality of doing so and maybe identify a main threat in your team and keep him out of the action as much as they can forcing you to chop and change what formation you play or what players you play. a bit similar to PES 2009 but targeting individual threats rather than the whole team as it makes the gameplay alot more challenging. |
