i have just signed it.
read some great ideas aswel. about being able to watch them under the video section on ps3.
me and my mates are always scoring great goals and not being ble to save them is annoying. why not let us save them and then upload them later if we wish.
i scored an amazing freekick against my mate yesterday and it did not upload properly onto easw, so now he is denying it ever happened.

This is one of the most stupid things on fifa. Its a magnificent game but there are hundreds of little flaws that could be improved, this certainly being one of them. SIGNED.

Been a while since I checked this, nice to see so many people voting, really hope that EA finally allow us to do this, even if they don't want replays permanently saved to HDD for some reason, at least let us temporarily store a certain amount of replays to the cache and then post match we get the option to upload/delete them, rather than forcing us to break up the flow of matches constantly

"Shocking omission IMO, it completely destroys the immersion and dynamism of a football match to have to stop and spend 10 minutes trying to upload a video to EA Sportsworld. If they're so determined to force EASW on us then at the very least let us mark a replay, have it saved temporarily to the HDD then after the match is finished we then choose to upload it to FSB or lose it before returning to the normal menu, this would also work for onlinematches."

Signed, (well said by the way). It isn't user friendly, if EA want to promote EASW they should encourage it's development organically with community support. It isn't fair to deny an offline player the ability to save replays just because EA want us all to participate in some big corporate love-in. People splashed out the extra cash to get a HDD drive for content like this to be available. Anybody playing Fifa on Xbox live is helping promote the game anyway, creating word of mouth buzz. Forcing them to go through EASW to hold on to a replay is a bit manipulative. Signed.

I've had loads of problems with uploading replays on the PS3 version, I used to have the 360 version too and had no such problems with that. The main problem is when uploading a replay it uploads to about 45% (I can't remember the exact percentage as I gave up on replays a long time ago) and pretty much every time it freezes up the game requiring a hard reset on the PS3, this happens in Manager Mode and BAP Seasons. When uploading a replay from the Arena it seems to work most of the time, only to find that when viewing the clip online it's saved three or four seconds of video at most, and the clip isn't even what you actually uploaded i.e I scored two goals and despite uploading the second one (or trying to) it actually uploaded the first few seconds of the previous one.

There seem to be a lot of issues specifically with the PS3 version which just don't get dealt with, or at best dealt with painfully slowly. FIFA 09 is blatantly the least play tested game I've played in a long time, it's full of bugs and glitches and online exploits that are left unfixed. This desperately needs the ability to save and properly edit your replays, you can do it in Madden and upload at a later date if you wish, I can't see any excuse for not doing it with FIFA, if not in a patch for 09 then ready for launch with '10.

Fed up with having lots of great goals unsaved and not uploaded. Especially when the 360 version is fine for uploads.

Edit: Signed.

Totally agree. The ability to save the Online end of game highights package too ( or even better all goals scored as sometimes some get missed ).

I asked David Rutter about this issue in the "Hello from the team" thread. here is his response.

Whilst I can't promise it for FIFA 10 - I can assure you that Gary Paterson, Mike Takla, Aaron McHardy, Christophe Labrune, Marcel Kuhn and I are well aware of how important this is to a lot of you...thats all the producers and designers on the team...

Default i'll sign it

some of us bought the 120 Gb hdd just to have enough space to f***ing save all the damn replays we want but wait..fifa 09 won't let you!!!! i spent 65 euros buying the original game and they don't let you save all the s***t you want, and later they complain about all the piracy that it's going around and how it affects their sales.of course it affects your sales because if people knew thei wouldn't buy it anymore, they just download a torrent play it and it doesn't bother them the whole "i paid 65 euros to not be able to save all my goals" thing.no wonder more and more people switch to PES ,i haven't played it yed but i'm sure you will be able to save all your goals so i guess i'll give it a try when i'll have the money to buy it of course because now i just spent 65 euros on a game that almost made me through my xbox out the window

First person view? how would you see the ball unless your player is running looking down on the feet? In real life you can feel you have the ball but this doesn't really work in a video game. Would be neat if they pull it off but I think it is way harder than you think. They can't even do a good BAP cam, hardly anyone use the bap cam in clubs for example.
