Sorry, but Fifa 09 is soo much better mate. If there's anything I'd put in from 08 to 09 though, it'd be the gameplay.

Becasue you actually have to play good football on 08 to win unlike in 09 when you simply rely on blind though balls!

Umm no, through balls have been easy on every NG fifa and 08 was no different. Plus 08 had the very easy low cross to wide open tap in goals.

I have yet to play a football game including PES that requires good football to score goals. The AI just isn't there yet.

Online!

On fifa 08 the assisted though ball was only good for certain passes really. I had it's limits!

The easy cut back goals only happened when facing Barca or United

On fifa 09 you dont even need to look for the players run to play in a though ball. You could play a perfect assisted though ball by accident!

Even the assisted passing wasan't all that simple in 08.

You could play great football on 08 and win games vs these abusers using it.

The only way to beat an abuser on 08 is to abuse the game yourself, now thats is Fifa's biggesst failure online!

That's not true at all. Assisted through balls were awful in 08 so most people ended up using manual which was in no way easy at all.

Im not giving up my hard earned cash to EA to buy another load of tripe if its as bad as 08 goalkeepers for example whoever programmed the keepers should be stood against a wall an shot so no thatnks

i broke my fifa09 disc 4-5 months ago so i decided recently to go back to fifa 08 first thing that happens is that i go from rank 42 to rank 109 by winning 21 matches and loosing 2

so i decided to create a new account :P but its pretty fun to play even though i think fifa 09 is better, but also easier for abusers tbh.
