im at the team selection page now for 20 mins. I have selected stoke and this n00b just wont budge from man united its pathetic!!

I am not letting this guy be man u!

i always pick a team that matches what the openet picks unless its man u and then i quit.

Who wants bets on how long he takes to change team?

Hahaha it happens with all Man Utd/Barca/Chelsea/France n00bs.

I wouldn't wait for 20 minutes I normally leave if I don't have a game after 10-15 seconds. I go to the lobby anyways to play top class people (like me).

its not only "n00bs", i play people with skill levels in the 20's who still insist on being utd or barca, part of the game now im afraid. I still give it a crack with West Ham

I see more rank 25-30's using Man Utd and France more than anybody on the game. It's funny beating them and holding up possession until they pull out the cable. I don't see why they do it I still get all my points and move up the leaderboard....

I still score before 15 minutes but just the one. If I go 2-0 up they are straight out of there.

Anybody above rank 20 will leave though if you go 1-0 up. The players towards the top aren't good enough to be their.

I beat a rank 44 today and he sent me so many abusive messages. I didn't even know his rank beforehand I just set up a game with 5 level difference between mine and he was level 30.

It felt so good to beat such a highly ranked player.

i think your right mate, the higher rank they are the more likely it is they will quit. i hope EA change this 15 minute rule, its abused

They have. It is now down to 5 minutes =]

No longer will n00bs have a 15 minute 'safe zone'. If they concede after 5 minutes they must sit their and get outplayed until the end of the game and fall down the leaderboard.

Fifa 09 will be much better online.

no they dont it happend to me today 4 times i was wnning v some1 who was on 11 win streak i scored he quit its knocked my confidence down and im worried to score but i have chances and i dont wanna take them and then i lose haha

What is the highest rank by the way?

My stats say that the average level of my opponent is 38. I find that hard to believe and I didn't even know the levels went into the 30's.

People take their online ranking way too serious....as if it's an extension of their own selves. You are not Ronaldo ....you never will be....you're ugly and you run like a kid with 1 leg. You'll play high school ball at best until you quit and return to your job at the local gas station.

Taking a good team and exploiting the flaws in the game do not make you a better person nor does it make you more important in this world.

You'll win? SO WHAT? You lag, you exploit, you quit, you ***** text. You'll impress no one.

Play the game , cause you love the game. If it means only unranked games ...then fine. Take a poor team and play a beautiful game that you can be proud of

But don't play the game cause you think if you're ranked higher that people will all of a sudden take notice of you.

It's a game. Just a game. It's not you .

Quite a soapbox peterpeter, not sure what your point is or who your talking too. Noone here is taking their rankings too seriously, theres no harm wanting to get higher in the ranks, its part of the game. We all know its just a game, but im sure we all really appreciate you pointing it out.

If someone else choose Man U, Barca etc, you can match him by choosing the same teams. When you deal with a beast you have to treat him like a beast.

I agree that has happend alot with me lately ,they just quit lol one guy was leading the game 3 -0 and there was about 22 minutes left in second half I beat him near the last minutes and he just leave's pretty lame
