Football World - feedback wanted

Hi Guys,

We know some of you have used, or continue use Football World for your Video uploads, blogging, etc but we are looking for a better understanding of what you think about the site. What features do you currently like? What would you like to see added? What should be improved? Do you want to see real world football news reported on as well as in game news? That sort of thing, we would really welcome your feedback on this.

i loved it, yet i have given up trying to upload vids because it hasnt ben working. & there isnt much stuff for your avatar

May be EA FIFA should switch their style to the EA NCAA style of uploading and saving. Thats how I have been able to load my NCAA 09 videos.

Yes, it has to upload the video every time without errors. But it's good to see that a new website is up, because the old Flash-website was too slow, but the new one is much better.

I really like it. For 2-3 months I couldnt upload but now I can. The problem is that I cant find my profile on EA Sports World anymore. Where is EA Sportsworld for FIFA 08? The one I find only has Euro 08 but no FIFA 08.

The avatars are a bit of fun, especially customising them though it would be funnier if items purchased were transferable to all games instead of just the EA sports homepage.

It would also be good if FIFA 08 was listed under the "my performance" section or that was customisable to reflect games which a member has purchased.

However, to echo the majority of the replies to this thread, it would be great if the video uploading worked first time and every time.

I didn't bother much which the avatar mainly because all you could see on Fifa was the face. But I would like to be able to use my points for alot more things that just the avatar and such.

Possibly unique features for Fifa(Nothing to drastic and changing like modes just little features that adds a nice touch to it) such as special kits to show off online and extra celebrating animations.

This might not be much but it will definitely add some sort of quality to the game and shows how much of a fan you are.

on fifa 08 for 360, i have 61 online ranked wins. y does in not give me the Getting Serious achivement wheich says u have to get 61 online wins? i am so confused

First of all the site is woefully slow and cumbersome to use.

The upload video option is way too inconsistent, and I haven't been able to upload the last 3 or 4 times I've tried (and thats trying at least 2/3 times per video - it actually does not work for me anymore)

The avatar thing is cool but can we finally have in-game photos of onesself like other EA sports titles? It might be cool to have the option of choosing an actual player's face for your avatar - and then be able to customize upon that

There should be way more space to upload files, I mean, they're tiny little flash videos. Speaking of which, quality and resolution should be upgraded

(oh - and can we finally have the ability to record whole games or at least a much longer replay buffer to upload from - what would be really cool is to record online matches and then to be able to replay/upload from that

- because we all know hardly anyone watches replays and you don't get to see the beatiful football you've created - this is supposed to be a football experience and for most of us who watch it on TV, replays play a big part in that experience))

I really like the idea of being able to upload formations and tactics. Please keep it simple and make sure there's Top Downloaded, Top Rated categories etc (I guess thats assuming we'd be able to share with other users - but it would be pointless to have such a feature without being able to share

) Is this going to include the ability to save/upload starting line-ups and squads as well?

videos can by seen on your profile, by logging in at easportsworld.com . When you have logged in, click on "Profile" at the top of the page. Should be a section labeled "My Videos"....
