Cheers Paul for voicing my question on the podcast

another quick question : are you guys planning on releasing the custom-soundtrack patch for FIFA 08 and FIFA 09? If so, how soon will you release it for FIFA 08?

Will you be able to include different situations within the arena in FIFA 09, such as being able to practice corners with defenders from an opposing team or practice your free kicks with a wall infront of you? Also early screenshots released of FIFA 09 show the same football boots as in FIFA08, will uptodate football boots be added on FIFA09 before its release date?

Why is it when playing manager mode that you can play the hardest team and win comfortably and then next game you play bottom of the league and within the first half your all over them but can not score, either hitting all corners of the bar, keeper has a blinder.

How does EA get a license for a team, stadium, and league. I ask that because of Konami getting the Champions League license.

i would like to now whether:

a) like euro 2008, will there be some managers making an appearence in fifa 09?
b) will there be a dummy feature in 09?
c) will it include rumble?

it would be much appreciated if you could answer any of these, thanks.

Are you going to include a feature like that in FIFA 07 where you can change the kick takers without pausing the game?
If you are not, you should, its pretty inconvenient having to pause constantly online when you are in different positions.

Does EA plan on implementing the create a team mode to the Next Gen consoles in the near future?
Are there any new teams in FIFA 09? if so could you name a few?

i always created the team i played in, in real life, and start them in the MLS or a lower English league and if i chose the later it was so cool winning the premiership title with my team.

I have a question. In Fifa08 you could play Manager Mode matches with the Pro Cam, in EURO this was taken out. Will this option be available in Fifa09, this is the only camera I play with. Also, if so, will we ever be able to use this camera for online matches? This would be great. Thanks, Brianbscotty

a question about fifa 09 can you tell us of anything new to be implemented in manger mode like pre season friendlies, play offs, cup finals being held at neutral grounds, all european teams being able to qualify for european competitions and scouted players names matching their nationality.

thanks paul for mentioning both of my questions in last week podcast

Hey guys, love the podcast. Just a quick question, are there any plans to implement anything similar to Madden 09's "Fantasy Football" feature in Fifa 09? If not, do you plan to do it in future years? I think it'd be a great feature....

Thanks,

Jeripoke (Patrick).

Will the commentary in Fifa 09 bear any resemblence to what has actually taken place in the match?

I have no problem with Andy Gray & Martin Tyler I think they are quite good but to actually tie their commentary in with real events would be a great addition I'm fed of hearing this, 'Both teams have had loads of shots at goal' I get this a lot at ht when I'm in double figures through my attempts at goal according to the stats and the AI have had none at all.
'the shot scraped the cross bar' when it clearly was put in row z.
'I think the match could go either way' I'm 4 or 5 nil up.
'they have used all their subs' when I have just brought on two and still have one to use.

Why does the commentary miss goals sometimes and takes them until kick off to catch up? And will the commentary actually comment on the ball when he has actually the ball instead of a pass or two later? Sometimes it is current but most of the time it is behind.

Will the stadium atmosphere be any different in 09?

Whenever you score a goal it doesnt look as if the fans are celebrating at all nor is it quite loud enough. Also there arent many chants or team songs during that match. A goal celebration song would be nice like they had during the euros.

When EA made fifa 98 an amazing game, they included indoor football which was amazing why did EA stop making it why was it not in fifa 99 or 2000 and so on. It was not like fifa street thats why so many people liked it.

Default Question

Hi I I have a question about whether there will be any more roster updates to fifa 08, some of us are looking forward to see Nasri in an Arsenal jersey.
Also I am wondering whether if the goalkeepers can still just move to one side of the goal during penalties to make saves much easier? the penalties in 08 are way too unrealistic.

Also I think you guys should stop wondering why holland can't get a point in your summer cup because they don't have real players and no one wants to play with them, that is why.

Thank you, hope to hear some of my questions answered

imo i really think the way of solving this is by letting the kick taker change direction of his shot even when he starts his run up.

yeah I pointed that out too on the other forums i use, but the way euro did it was fine, just by slowing down the keeper so he can't just move to one side...

Are You Going To Change The The Scoring Way Of The Online Leagues To The Normal In Other Words To The Typical Scoring Board Because It Would Be Easier For Us To Determine Who Is In First Place
