One way is to choose the right captain

i've experimented with chemistry and the quickest way to raise it is too fiddle around with the line-up and see what players ratigns increase where and which players increase TC when their starting. For example With the default Valencia line-up i increased the TC +17 by putting in better players that used to be starting last year, their older but for some reason they increase it a bunch. Also sometimes if you try certain people way out of position you'll see an iincrease TC. i.e. i put in vicente for morientes and it went +3

Does this really make a difference?

I'm Real Madrid and if you take Raul out of the team you lose loads of chemistry, is there any other players like this?

Thats the problem i think. The whole point of team chem is that the players are played in specific positions which they are used to and accommodate to it. Chopping and changing it around like benitez does should decrease the chem. So in theory the lineup originally set should be the one with the highest. However if you do what you said there you can increase the team chem but in theory it shouldnt work, due to the players not being used to the formation. Am I right??

At least on my manager mode with Atalanta. For example, If I appoint Cristiano Doni as the captain, the chemistry rises by one point, or if I appoint Gianpaolo Bellini, it rises by two points. However, if I appoint Antonio Langella, the chemistry goes down two points.

In manager mode the best way to up your team chemistry is to offer everybody new contracts and keep doing it, if your doing this on a team like Man U or Barce, be weary as some of the stars (Ronaldo / Ronaldinho etc) will cost 1 mil+ for a contract extension.

Thats because he has been at madrid the longest (near enough) and is loyal to his club and if he doesnt play in real life there is a lack of attack
