Hey Guys, this is a copy of a post I made in another thread. I want to make sure everyone sees it!

I have a piece of good news for everyone:

You can now comment on yours and other community members videos on EA SPORTS World!

Go check it out!

When you are viewing a video, all you have to do is use the inside scroll bar and scroll down a bit. There you will see a link that says "Leave a Comment" click the link and you are set.

Concerning this week's top video, I dont think the number 1 is fair, The player that scored was offside, so it wasnt actually a goal. Or does that not matter.

To vote, just go to the FIFA 08 page on EA SPORTS World and scroll down. At the bottom left of the page, you will se a poll question that allows you to vote for the video that you think deserves to be the video of the week. I'm pretty sure I know who you are going to vote for!

Blalalahanks for the feedback guys! I will not disqualify any goal this week, but I will begin to take the offsides into consideration.

I was pleased when this was first announced but uploading a video for me is really hit and miss despite a stable broadband connection, wired network ETC. I have just managed to upload one the other day the first time for ages, takes the fun out of it for me.

I have asked repeatedly for a step by step guide how you are supposed to upload it just in case I am doing something wrong on my ps3 but nowt as yet.

Uploading Videos to EA Sports World One of the best new features for FIFA 08 this year is the ability to show off your greatest moments to the world using EA Sports World. You can upload anything you want to show off to other people – it doesn’t have to be an amazing goal; you can show off your skills in the Arena, a funny moment in the game or a great piece of skill.

We’ve noticed some people have been having problems uploading with some videos only lasting a second or two. To help prevent this we’ve prepared this guide which details all the points you need to know to successfully upload a video.

When you’ve found something you want to upload go to the in-game menu and select Instant Replay. Use the X/Square button to change the camera angle until you’ve got to the one which shows off your skill the best.

Use the LT/L2 and RT/R2 buttons to move the action forwards or backwards to the point where you want your highlights to start. When you’ve got to the right spot press RS/R3 to mark the start. If you’ve done it correctly two red markers should appear on the replay timeline with the first one at the point where you want your replay to start.

There is no need to press the RS/R3 button again to mark an end point; the video will automatically end about 12 seconds after the first marker. Pressing the RS/R3 button to make an end point will result in you uploading a very short video.

Once you’ve set the markers, use the RT/R2 and LT/L2 to view the replay selected between the two red markers. When you’re happy that the timeline represents the correct footage press Y/Triangle to upload the video.

A new screen will appear and ask you which of your five available slots to upload the video to. Everyone who has signed into EA Sports World automatically has five slots on the site. If you have empty slots select the first available one then press A to upload the video. If you have used all five you will need to overwrite an existing save to upload it. If you want to keep the video you can got to EA Sports World and save the file to your hard drive before you replace it with the new file. A progress bar will detail how much of the video has been uploaded and you will receive an on-screen message to confirm the video uploaded correctly. Occasionally there is an issue where too many people are trying to upload a video at the same time so you may get an error message detailing the file wasn’t uploaded. If you do get this try again and the file will upload correctly.

Once the video has been uploaded it will be available on the EA Sports World site. If you already have your video page open then reload the page and the latest video will be available shortly. When you upload a video from a game it will show the badges of the two teams involved but if you upload a video from the Arena you will see the FIFA 08 logo. When you watch a video it’s best to press pause and give the file a few seconds to load as, like any flash video, it takes some time to load fully. Once the video is on EA Sports World you can download the video to your hard drive and send to it friends. The videos are saved as an .flv file. These can be played using any Flash player or they can be converted into other format using software found online. If you have any problems with uploading videos please visit the FIFA 08 forums.
