Matchday1

Feyenoord VS SBV Exelcior

Venue:Feyenoord Stadium

Feyenoord lost their first game of the season and that too in a season opener as fans awaited the return of Robin Van Persie,But things didn't go their way at the Feyenoord stadium as they conceded a goal in the 66th minute to lose the game and plummet down the table to 14th place.Guus Hiddink was speechless after the whistle was blown and walked off the pitch as the squad and the fans knew this was bnot what thay had expected.A strong sense of urgency forcing the issue that Feyenoord had to win to keep it in contention for a Champions League Berth next season was fading away for many of the fans,But Captain Roy Makaay had other reasons for their loss mainly not having a pre-season tour of warm up matches had taken their toll in their league match.

Formation:4-1-2-1-2

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

First Half

0'-Feyenoord Kickoff

2'-Lucious runs down the right and sends in a cross but the keeper saves it in the air from Van Persie

21'-De Guzamn sends in a high cross for Van Persie but He heads over with disapointment on his face.

42'-Hergot finds clean off Hofs ans Vlaar but Keeper Timmer saves from the spot to deny him the first goal.

45'-Firsthalf Ends.

Halftime Score:0-0

"It was a disapointing half for us maybe not for them,we have to pick up the pace,Van Persie still has to adapt to the conditions here rather than in England.Makaay has worked his socks off on the field and DeJong has been fantastic with all of his shots on target,But we cannot conclude the game in the first half itself so we will have to score in the second half".

45'-Exelcior Kickoff

49'-A Blistering shot bu De Jong is tipped over by the keeper from 30 yards out of the box.

57'-Hergou pushes forward after dribbling past Bronkhorst but keepr Timmer saves it with a reflex save.

66'-GOAL!Hergot scores the opening goal after Dan Oueden finds him with a through ball and he shoots past Timmer to make it.1-0

84'-Hergot is fouled by Bujis and freekick awarded but it goes well wide of the post.

"It is not a good start for us but we must not lose faith in ouselves we must win the next few game if we are to stand any chance of having Champions League Football. We must train more extensively and at the same time must not tire ourselves".

Matchday 2

Feyenoord Rotterdam VS AZ Alkamaar

Venue:Feyenoord Stadium

Feyenoord showed their true killer instict when they drew AZ Alkamaar with Roy Makaay scoring a hat-trick for the season with 2 well crafted goals. It took some time to break Didulica but they broke through on all fronts to force a draw.Makaay was influential throughout the game with finding ways to score and Van Perise was a but below him but missed two glorious chaces in the opening minutes of the game which would have put Feyenoord 2-0 up in the game. When you consider how much Feyenoord have achives ,it is huge when compared to Alkamaar who have won only one title in their history.Feyenoord look to resort to their formation of only a sole striker Makaay up frony with Van Persie playing behind him as a second striker.Roy Makaay has promised to score and looked to be in good touch considering his week long private training in his home,He looked fitter than ever.

When the match started the entire Feyenoord Stadium wanted to see a goal from the Das Phantom r the Phenomenal One Robin Van Persie,But it was AZ Alkamaar who took the lead in the 1 minute and would be considered the fastest goal in Dutch Football History when Dembele rounded Bronkhorst before curling the ball past Timmer to give his away side the lead. The smiles of the thousand Feyenoord faced were wiped off in an instant. You can't tell how much schoked the Feyenoord players were after conceding such an early goal,But Makaay only encouraged his players not to lose heart in the match and must push forward all gune blazing. As soon as the match restarted AZ Alkamaar were caught on may occasions by Van Persie who suddengly sprung to life and was in the penalty box after going past hergot but the keeper managed to tip it over the crossbar.

The first goal came in the 12 minute into the start of the match as Roy Makaay finds the net,But the manner in which it was scored was plausible. After AZ Alkamaar had conceded an early corner.Feyenoord were known for their danger in dead ball situations,De Guzman found the head of De Jong but it got deflected of Dembele and Makaay had all the time in the world to tap the ball home for the equaliser. The stadium erupted with the first goal being scored by the Das Phantom.Guus Hiddink did not get too exited but told his players to watch their backs as well as put pressure on their opponents.

The Lead lasted just another 5 minutes when AZ Alkamaar just wouldn't sit and be quit and for some reason managed to net in the second goal through Hamadaoui who was a constant danger to the Feyenoord defense. After a poor headed by Bronkhorst, hamadaoui managed to outmuscle De Jong before firing past Keeper Timmer to put the visitors 2-1 ahead in the 17th minute.Van Persie was just not finding the net today as he missed on several occasions from clos range to give a consolation goal just before halftime. In the 26th minute Roy Makaay managed to fake 2 players and escaped them and with a shot on goal with a goal keeper between it he shot just inside the angle but the keeper tipped it away.
Feyenoord found the second Equaliser in the 35th minute and again Roy makaay was found clear after a De Cler long pass upfield and Makaay outran the Alkamaat defender before sloting the ball past Didulica to put them on terms at halftime with the score 2-2.

The second half was more nerve wracking as both teams squandered chances to put their team ahead,The first came to AZ Alkamaar when Dembele found Hamadaoui with a clear through ball but the linesman had his flag up for offside.Sighs of relief came from the Feyenoord defenders. In the 54th minute Martens again put Alkamaar in the lead when he shot past 3 defenders inspite of noy having proper visibility of the goal managed to shoot and Timmer thought it would go wide but to his dimay it went of the post to put AZ Alkamaar 3-2 ahead of Feyenoord.Feyenoord were in desperate need of an equliser and they squandered many chances one coming form just 6 yards but Hofs taps wide off the goal to deny his team a draw.

Roy Makaay was the saviour as he scored the equalising goal in the 76th minute when he escaped his marker with ease and He found the ball from De Jong and shot at goal and it went in off the keeper to put both teams on a draw level again.Again both teams tried but they just would't break open.Eventually the match ended with a 6 goal thriller and Feyenoord in a dangling 11th position in the table and will look to win the next match against fellow rivals PSV Eindhoven.

There are 3 things which take place prior to a sub
1)You can see the players warming up
2)They will wave if they played good or will just walk off
3)If you sub the captain,he will get ****ed off
