![]() Former England Captain David Beckham has returned to the UK signing with the blue half of Merseyside Everton for around 31.8 Million Euro's. David was spotted a couple of days ago watching a Chelsea and Everton game but he was rumored to be joining Chelsea which have not been squashed. ![]() Beckham drew a crowd of around a 1000 and about 100 media and camera crews he had this to say. Bayern took control early,Toni had the first chance off a Ribery cross but his header was just wide of the goal,Toni not longer afterhad another this time with some time he volleyed down only to be denied this time by a well positioned save by Cannon,LA struggled to find a rythm against the German visitors,after Sneijder won a corner for his side Ribery's delivery was world class Lahm met the cross with a looping header which made Cannon pull out a diving save while falling backwards,he just managed to tip it over for another corner,which came to nothing. Not longer later LA had their first opportunity when Gordon got past Sneijder then Lucio he had a quick fire attempt at goal with Rensing scrambling to save for a corner.From the corner the ball fell to Donovan's feet his shot curled wide with Rensing looking like he had it covered,and that was halftime. The second half promised a bit of excitment for the crowd,especially when Gordon found him self 1-1 with Rensing he got too much on his shot and curled it wildy away from Rensing,Van der Vaart created a opening for Klose but Cannon came out well and took care of trouble,Sneijder worked with Ribery who crossed deep for the running Schweinsteiger but his header from the long ball bounced inches wide with Cannon at full stretch,Donovan fired from long range but Rensing always had it,the match looked to be coming to a close excpet late on Van der Vaart crossed for Klose who dummy played the ball for Ribery the fielderswent the wrong way,Klose played Toni in and the big Italian fired past Cannon sweetly leaving him no chance at all. JURGEN KLINSMANN:Yeah we managed to grab one late on but in all honesty the guys weren't going flat out,the pre season trip has shown me some idea's ,formations and players strength's and weakness's,the fans who showed up in all our games and packed the Arena's thank you very much. The first half started well for Bayern Ribery set up numerous chances for Podolski and Toni.Ze Roberto nearly scored excpet for Enke's brillance.Toni grabbed the opener for Bayern with time running low with a looping header over Enke who was diving back full stretch.Hannover best chance came when Huszti found his way into the Bayern box,but his shot was blocked for acorner by bayern's new keeper Krul.The corner Krul came and took the ball well at halftime Bayern held a minor 1-0 lead. Bayern started the ssecond half well Ribery tested Enke on a couple of occassions ,Ribery's long pass found Toni who chested it down for Podolski he hit it curling away from Enke and into the bottom corner to double the lead,Brdaric had a great chance but his shot smacked the woodwork,huszti kept the pressure up by firing from 25 metres out and had Krul scrambling to make a save time wasn't on Hannover's side ,despite time running low Brdaric beat the off side trap and got into the box but was collided with by Breno and the referee didn't hesitate to point to the spot,Huszti stepped up against Krul and slotted home a goal for Hannover but time wasn't aplenty and as soon as the kick off went the whistle blew and it was over Bayern had done enough. After a less then dominate year for Bayern youngster Bastian Schweinsteiger the Bayern Munich board decided to hand the captaincy to some one who had played well under pressure and shouldn't affect this player's ability to play well from now on being Bayern Munich new captain,and that man is Lucio. ![]() Lucio is Bayern's most senior defender and now at 30 year's of age ,the Bayern board believes he is the mosr suited player to recieve the honour,Ribery,Mertesacker and Rensing were all mentioned for the captaincy but after commitment and dedication for the club,Lucio got the nod.The board believe's he can handle the pressure and do his job at the same time. |

Romeo Castelen scored the winning penalty kick in Hamburg epic penalty shoot out with Nurnburg ,after finishing 0-0 after full time it went to penalty's where it went to a 5-5 score ,Rost denied Schuta andit was left to Romeo Castelen who fired it hard into the top left hand corner.The result meant it was a Bayern -Hamburg final.

I have some bad news fans of this MM,I was in a rush earlier and turned off the console without saving and therefor I have corrupted my data ,I'm sorry to those enjoying this MM as I enjoyed doing it.
